This flat is ideally located if you want a quiet retreat from a busy day of London sightseeing. It is close to public transportation, restaurants, and a grocery store- not to mention the Tower of London! The pictures on Booking are accurate. There is a lift to the flat, however, the bathtub is very tall and may present a problem for those with mobility challenges. We have stayed in this flat twice and hope to return. Enjoy!

We really enjoyed our stay at St. Katherine's Docks. I had family in town that required an accessible flat, and this worked perfectly. The balcony was lovely, location close to everything, Waitrose across street was ideal (reminder they close early on Sundays!) and very easy access. Mike was super quick to address all our accessibility questions and the entry/flat information was all very helpful.

Great location and suites our needs perfectly. Amazing proximity to all that London has to offer.

Good flat great for two people but a bit small for four people, needs a bit of TLC in side the flat mainly the bathroom with paint pealing on the walls and a few other miner things, those things fixed it would be perfect. Has everything one needs for a great stay overall a great three weeks in London

Could not asked for better location. Walking distance to amazing sights and wonderful restaurants in Spitafields. Perfect for two people with loads of charm and a lovely view from the balcony. The grocery store across the street is an added bonus.

Wonderful Flat and Location
The Flat was exactly as shown and very comfortable. Spending 2 weeks overlooking a quaint marina with spectacular views of London Bridge and the Shard, was special..........especially at night when all lit up.
David was wonderful to work with along with Steve......will definitely stay here again when I'm back in London!

a home from home in a megacity - woww
Clean and spacious apartment, Very homey and un-touristy! Stunning views - a mix of hallowed Tower Bridge and the Shard and a duck house in the marina! Where else in London is this possible? Apart from that - functional, bright and well maintained apartment. Would like to come back again!

Wow
What a wonderful location! Near all the action but very quiet at night. Lots of peaceful walks along the river on both sides of the Tower Bridge.

Great location, very responsive host
The apartment was as described. Close to restaurants, across the street from Waitrose supermarket and a short walk to the tube station (Tower Hill). The host, David, responded to any inquiry before, during and after the trip almost immediately and was very helpful.

Great location, excellent host
We really enjoyed our recent visit to London and would recommend the flat where we stayed. Very clean, with all the promised amenities, the only problem we experienced was that the flat was quite warm due to the unusually high temperatures. The fans were adequate, barely. Otherwise, with the great view of the Tower Bridge, steps from a very good grocery, and nice little balcony, we would happily return.

A recommendation for view and comfort.
An excellent Waitrose supermarket just across the st. (although we had no idea where to find a bank or a pharmacy. A list of those in the flat would be helpful). Many good restaurants in the St. Kat Docks area. We loved the view of the marina, the Tower Bridge, the Shard, etc. both by day and night. Balcony a plus. Appreciated the light "Caribbean" decor, the washing machine and the amazing warming cupboard. Lighting was very good. The flat is dated, but clean. On the negative side: it is a 10-15 min. walk uphill to the tube and the light rail (OK for us, since we went to experience East London rather than the touristy areas of the west).

Great apartment, great location
This is great place to stay for a break in London. Fantastic view overlooking St Katherine's Dock and Tower Bridge, the apartment itself is clean and well equipped. It is a 5-10 minute walk from Tower Bridge tube station and 2 minutes from Waitrose! The manager is very helpful and responsive.
We have regularly rented a more central apartment in London but in future are more likely to come back here.

Beautiful and great location
Loved the little flat, loved the view, directions for apt and entry were great...detailed and included pictures. Had tapas very near by, walked to bridges and the Eye. Would certainly stay here again and recommend to others.

Super flat with amazing view
The flat is exactly how you would expect it from the pictures. A bus station is 2 minutes away and the tub station around 5-10 minutes. The supermarket is literally across the street. We really felt at home and completely save and secure. The view is just breathtaking. Super communication with the host.

Great place to stay close to sights
We loved our stay at David's one bedroom flat. It is very clean, quiet and comfortable, and a peaceful place to return to after a day of sightseeing. The great views are just as shown in the photos, and the small deck is a great place to take it in from. It's a short, pedestrian-only walk to the Tower Hill Underground station, which gets you to most anywhere in London, plus it is only a 5-10 minute walk to Tower Bridge. It's located in a safe neighborhood and there is a huge Waitrose supermarket just across the street that sells a variety of take-away food. We would love to stay here again.

Quiet space in the middle of the city
Love love love this place. I will stay here from now on when I return to London. The view is spectacular. And there is a market right across the street to buy food for cheaper options than eating out. We made breakfast here every morning. There is a warm spot in the hallway that I just loved. Everything you need is available in this unit. Highly recommend!

our holiday at St Katharine Docks
Everything was wonderful. The flat is very close to The Tower of London.
David was in touch with us all the time, which was very helpful..The flat was clean and tidy. Could do with a little renovation!
For all the attractions, make sure you are there early to avoid long queues! e.g. Madame Tussaud at 9.30.. Wagamama is great food!

Fabulous location, great comfortable light and airy apartment
What a great apartment this is! We are so happy we rented David’s apartment for three nights. A great way to end a trip. We splurged for the two of us and went for the one-bedroom which has more space. Everything that one could need was provided. The bed was really comfortable. The linens were nice. The water was hot. There is no AC but we just missed the heat wave and there were some fans there so not an issue for us. There is a great breeze from the docks with the windows open. We don’t care about a TV, we’re in LONDON!
As some reviews mention, it is a bit older, but it is well cared for and immediately felt like a home, more assessable than some of the high end places we had rented previously. David is great communicator and very helpful with suggestions. He was in constant communication with us as our time to check in neared. There were a lot of little end tables around, something other places tend to lack.
The Waitrose (supermarket) right across the street was great as one splurges on lodging with a kitchen, good to use the kitchen! The location on the docks was sublime. Had to rouse the hubby off the balcony as he just wanted to sit and look at the water and the boats and our great view of The Shard with Tower Bridge in the foreground. It was great to be able to walk outside our door, down the steps and be on the docks. We had a great time exploring the east end of London and this area of the Thames. I can’t say enough about the location—and quiet at night!

Great Location
This flat is in a great location with lots of attractions , supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance. The flat is well equipped with everything you may need whilst on holiday. It was clean (except for the balcony floor which was very dirty) but is quite tired and well worn. The wi fi worked well, the TV was tiny and the taps in the bath leaked constantly.
David the owner was very efficient and pleasant to deal with and responded very quickly when we had a problem with the heating and had a plumber call in to check and order new taps for the bath.
We really enjoyed our stay in the flat and being able to walk along the Thames, around the docks, shops, pubs and markets nearby made us feel like real locals.
London accomodation is very expensive for what you get and you pay a premium for a great Location like this, but we really enjoyed our two weeks in the area and this flat.

Cosy, immaculate flat with lovely view
The property is spotless and is outfitted with modern conveniences required for a holiday stay. The location in the Docks provides a wonderful view to enjoy! The host, David, was very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable and always available if we had any questions. The location is walking distance to the Tower of London and the City of London as well as all modes of transports. There is also a Waitrose supermarket across the street from the building.

Fine property in the City
This is a cozy flat, well looked-after and with a maritime theme well-suited to its view of yachts, narrow-boats and water birds in the St Katherine's Dock area. An excellent stepping out point for a walk/jog on the Thames Path and the night life and restaurants that has grown in recent years in the City.

Fabulous flat
This was third time our family has stayed here although the first with all 4 members. The location is perfect for us with easy transport links. The photographs accurately depict the property and the view is wonderful. The property is older but clean & well maintained with simple but stylish decor. Importantly it is very warm, cosy & quiet. The bed is very comfortable and the teenagers did not complain about the divan mattresses. It might be a bit of a squeeze with 4 adults but it worked for our family group. There is a superb Waitrose across the road out back and the kitchen is well equipped for simple catering; alternatively lots of good options for eating out nearby. The owner is very helpful. This property is good value for money- it's not luxurious but London is expensive and to stay in this location in itself is a luxury. We will back again.

Wonferful and very nice flat with a warming charm that makes you feel like at home!absolutly clean and offering everything you need for a perfect stay in london. The location is very nice, quiet and offers a hand full of nice restaurants right in front of the house as well as a food store right across the street. The tube station is only a few minutes away. Idyllic base for your London stay
Very idyllic Place at St. Katharine Docks. We stayed for a weekend, would have loved to stay longer. Supermarket, restaurants and Tower in walking distance, 5 minutes walk to the tube for the rest of London. Apartment well equipped, David was very welcoming and efficient. Can recommend this to everyone!

Lovely flat in a lovely place!
We received a warm welcome, which is a good thing so start with.
The flat is simple though comfortable with everything needed for a short stay and very clean. Very quiet place as windows are facing foot paths and marina only. Watching sunset on the balcony overlooking the marina was so romantic... Pubs and restaurants are less then 5 minutes walk and Tower Hill tube station less than 10 minutes walk. There is also a convenient supermarket right in front of main building entrance. What else to say? I would certainly recommend this property and will chose it again next time I go to London.
