Very nice and clean and cosy
Would have liked windows to be a bit darker as in curtains upstairs as light come in from street lights but personal choice

Lovely village location and easy to access sea resorts etc. Hosts could not have been more helpful recommending a garage for us as our car had issues. This cosy cottage is well equipped and little welcome items left including treats for dogs.
Sadly the beds were very soft and we found it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Soe low beams at bottom of stairs that gave my hubby a knock or two but in fairness we did not check about ceiling height of bed firmness. There is no table to eat at either lap trays are provided but not ideal.

We had a lovely peaceful stay in a perfect cottage. The owners are very easy to communicate with and they have fitted the cottage out to a very high standard. Lovely homely touches like a welcome pack made it one of the nicest places we've every stayed in.

Excellent location. Cottage contained everything we needed. Friendly host. Birding at Flamborough Head and Bempton Cliffs was exceptional. Enjoyed a great dinner at Piebald Inn.
Mattress was a bit soft and bed frame rickety. Had to turn off the over powering plugin. All very minor subjective grumbles that in no way detracted from our stay

Such a fantastic place to stay and lovely attention to detail, host even put together a welcome basket for us. Very, very clean and homely. Plenty of space for our family. A lovely cottage with lots of character. Great facilities - kitchen with washer and oven and all kitchenware you might need, bathroom with shower, loft room with tv and games console and bed, 2 other bedrooms with comfy beds and hairdryer, etc., cosy living room with tv, dvds, games and books. Very dog friendly and a back yard that was great for dogs too. Hosts live nearby and were on hand if we needed anything and very friendly and helpful. Beautiful area, 3 minutes walk from local shops, 7/10/20 minutes drive from Hunmanby Gap beach/Filey Beach/Scarborough Beach.

The cottage is very homely got everything you need , it was a bit noisy when windy you could hear the wind down the chimney and in the bathroom but we will definitely book again , there is plenty of places to get food from and all generous, you can also get to lots of places to explore .

The cottage was lovely & comfortable, with superb attention to detail, plus the extras from a hamper to Christmas decorations which really made our stay memorable. In a great location, central to all amenities and not far from the coast. A big plus for us, very dog friendly, with everything your pooch could wish for.

.This cottage is a total delight. It's immaculately clean , very cosy and great location. A lovely small enclosed courtyard type garden. I can't give it enough praise.
Emma was so helpful with everything I enquired about. The natives are very friendly
Just 2 miles down the road is the most wonderful beach, assessable, clean and has a lovely cafe ( so charming).
We so wanted to stay longer but sadly it was unavailable......we have rebooked for later this year.
Ermmmmm nothing.
Oh yes, no bread knife but very quickly rectified.

Neighbour constantly walking through the garden when they should be using their own front door.

Friendly hosts, great location convenient for local pubs and shops, only a short drive to get to Scarborough and Filey.

Useful little basket of goodies on arrival. Location excellent for local family party. Felt if we had a problem very easy to contact host (lived 2 doors away)
The bed could have been so much better - I suggest trying the Premier Inn mattresses which you can buy. Not cheap but excellent and last in this sort of property. Armchairs are very big and by removing one there would be room for a little fold out table and chairs - but it was fine as it was.

cost, quirky, dog friendly- little touches such as milk in the fridge.
A later checkout time perhaps. checkout time was 10am I was 15mins behind which I apologised for.
