Enchanting couple’s retreat with huge 16” rain shower, soaking tub and bedroom on second floor that opens onto a big deck in a grove of walnut trees...like living in a tree house. Beautiful contemporary cedar and glass home finished in 2021. Cozy living room, kitchen with wood deck out the kitchen door. Laundry/office area also opens on the upper deck. Home is full of local art and woodwork made from trees removed to build the house. Lots of wildlife to watch and enjoy, 2 acres to roam if you like.

This was our third year in a row staying at the house and it was nothing short of perfect. The location, cleanliness and hospitality from the host was nothing short perfect. We can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I stayed while we attended the nearby horse races at Keeneland. The location and overall property was perfect. We had a wonderful stay. Flowers and wine were a nice touch and much appreciated.

We absolutely love Gae’s home and the way she makes you feel like she is hosting family. So many special touches! Can’t recommend this home enough - unless you are looking for when we want to come down - please rebook for another time lol! Plan on staying for the third time soon!!!

This was a great place to stay. Beautiful. Spotless, comfortable, relaxing. Location was superb to explore the area. We were greeted with bottles of wine and freshcut flowers. Could not have been better.

The property itself is truly beautiful, fresh, and goes above and beyond. Easy access to Keeneland, and just a short drive to everywhere else you may need to go. The owners of the property were extremely nice and easy to work with, and provided a truly memorable experience, allowing us to utilize every minute of our stay. Thank you and we will be back!

Gae provided every amenity you could need for your stay. Their property was very clean & organized including beautiful flowers & herb gardens. You will be centrally located to Lexington & numerous distilleries. Coffee on the balcony is a great way to start your day!

Nice cabin with many unexpected perks like wine, snacks, teas, and heated towels in the bath. Very comfortable bed, kitchenware galore, and bold artwork. Located next to Keeneland racetrack and central to horse farm tours, and the bourbon trail. We will stay here again.

There were refreshments and all the amenities that we needed to be totally comfortable. Tub with epsom salt for my wife. Ironing board and iron for my clothes. Washing machine and dryer. Couple of refreshments in the fridge. Recommended!

Got this place as it only 1 mile from Keeneland Race track. Everything was smooth from check in to check out. The house is very nice. Some really cool décor as well. Should consider adding a bigger bed to the second room upstairs!

This is an excellent place to stay! House is perfectly clean, everything is stylish and new with high quality furnishings and extremely comfortable king bed! The owners are really helpful and nice and will resolve any issues you run into. We look forward to staying with them again in the future!!

First you should know that I have stayed at 20+ VRBO locations. This is by far the nicest place we have ever stayed. The amount of care and love put into this home is evident in everything about it. It is so well appointed. The first thing you notice is what a lovely area it is in. Very close to all the things we wanted to do. We came for our first visit to the Kentucky Castle. We had a tour and dinner there which was amazing. The best meal we had was at Maggie's bakery. They also serve breakfast and sandwiches. But they close early so if you want to visit watch the hours. And we also enjoyed out first visit to Red Mile Casino, But, back to the home, nothing is mediocre. Everything is of the best craftmanship and quality. From the door handles to the towels and sheets. The blankets were amazing too! The bed sleeps like a dream. The Bathtub was my very favorite, it is a deep soaking tub that also has a wonderful spray feature. The owner left so many special touches all around the house. We had fresh flowers, two bottles of wine, butter cookies, wonderful coffee and a lovely bar of soap and bath bomb. That was the icing on the cake! The owner was so kind to give us a later check out as well which was so appreciated. This was mine and my husbands first time away in almost a year and I would'nt have wanted to spend it anywhere else. We can not wait to return.

Very Comfortable. Loved the bed and the view's. Plenty of clean towels. Clean sheets, super bathroom. All very nice. Had a great porch with chairs and a table for coffee in the am. Just big enough to be cozy, and comfortable. Host did everything anyone could ask for.

Ideal for a couple or couple + 1. Modern, well-appointed, super clean - it was so fun to hang out there especially on the second floor deck. Easy to get to distilleries, downtown, horse farms and of course Keeneland. Would not hesitate to stay again!

Cinderella’s Guest House is perfect for a couple to enjoy Lexington, we went to Keeneland and enjoyed the horse races, we went on a bourbon tour, enjoyed great restaurants. Location is perfect! The accommodations are clean and spacious.

First, Gae is a prompt host, easy and pleasant to deal with. Gae leaves lovely touches around the house from fresh cut flowers, chocolates, Bath balms, and cookies. She has a beautiful eye for decorating yet creates a warm, comfortable home away from home atmosphere that we greatly appreciated. There was every amenity you would ever need and it is set in a lovely rural, neighborhood while still being close to Lexington Center, the Horse Park, Keene land Park, shopping malls and beautiful, rural Kentucky. We highly recommend Gae and her lovely Cinderella house!

Great place to stay

This property is a great place to stay if you are considering Lexington. Very close to Keeneland, with several wineries and distilleries within 10-20 drive. The house sits on a piece of property that is very private (although it looks like someone is building another house right behind it). The inside was very clean and comfortable. Gae did a great job decorating the place - very cozy! Gae was a super host, responding quickly to any questions. When we arrived, there was a bottle of white and red wine along with some cookies for us to enjoy. I would highly recommend this property for a nice getaway!

Cinderella's Guest House was absolutely perfect! Just 5 minutes from Versailles and the airport and just 15 from Lexington, we were able to get out and about and explore everything the area had to offer! The house was fully stocked with more than we could have ever needed--they left us wine, cookies, and coffee and each room had more than we could have needed. The king bed slept so so nicely and the rain head in the shower was magnificent. In the mornings we had coffee from the French press and at night we enjoyed wine on the deck. Cannot say enough great things about this property!

Extra thoughtful host has a reference binder that notes the property history & excellent dining suggestions (Bourbon N’Toulouse for authentic cajun, Wallace Station for creative sandwiches & yummy sweets). Gae also goes the extra mile on activity suggestions, just ask!

Best in Lexington

This was our second stay at the property, and it's still the best. The house seems clean when you enter, but what you discover is that it is really clean. Everywhere. It's close to all kinds of shopping, restaurants, close to Keeneland, Airport, and easy to get to the back roads to look at beautiful horse farms. Looking forward to another stay in the future.

Great digs for Derby

This is a thoughtfully designed contemporary home with wonderful artwork adorning the walls and custom made furniture crafted from trees from the lot. Sparkling clean with high end fixtures / appliances and feels brand new. The bed is comfy, soaking tub is terrific and it’s perfectly appointed. The owner is a good and generous communicator. I give five stars with caveats: this is near a highway and also near the airport, so significant ambient noise … there are built-in fans in the rooms to mitigate noise but they have minds of their own (they shut off). Also, one must heft the suitcases up steep stairs so be sure that works for you (it took the two of us). All in all, though, this made for a great home base for Kentucky Derby and the Bourbon Trail.
