We had nice views of mountains, i think it was quite good value for money. It had most things we needed
Lack of indoor table to eat at for a family, and toilet outside. These are only minor complaints though
3.5
location, number of beds, lounge area. Keys for each bedroom.
Only one toilet and shower for the whole property. Would benefit from having another bathroom in one of the camp out sleep areas. Cooking facility could be better as we couldn't really cook while there ; if we stayed longer then the 2 nights it would have been more of an issue as you'd have to eat out all the time for dinners which would add up as restaurants were quite pricey in the area.

Great place to stay with lots of room and easy walk to the shops.
Only one toilet and small shower.

Confort des lits

The kids enjoyed their own bedrooms. Clean, comfortable and good location.
Rocks made it hard for the kids to get to the bathroom without having to put shoes on. Cooking facilities were basic and I hadn’t realized before hand.
5.0
Very spacious home, close to the town centre. It was clean and tidy on arrival, large room and great facilities.
5.0
The house was clean, cosy and warm and plenty of space for everyone. Walking distance to town, lake and parks. There were bikes and kayaks to enjoy.
3.0
The location was great and the property was very clean. The bikes and kayaks were a nice touch although we didn't have time to use either.
The whole configuration of the property was a little odd to say the least. The main house was okay for 3 people but the extra rooms were completely seperate to the main house and did not have any facilities so if you were in one of those rooms and needed the toilet in the middle of the night you may have to walk through pouring rain or snow to access it (which one of the travellers had to do). Also if you did have 7-8 guests, they all have to share the one small shower and single toilet so keep that in mind. The kitchen was completely inadequate for meal preperations. It's tiny and clearly an after thought. There were pots and pans but as they only had a single ceramic cooker you could only cook 1 item at a time. Also no real dining option as there was only a narrow breakfast bar to eat at. Again if it was a full house of guests you really couldnt prepare meals in that tiny space. We were only 3 and we struggled to make a decent hot meal. Also a minor issue, but we were taken aback by the threat of legal action in the welcome documents. I get it that some guests aren't great but reading that made us all feel a little affronted! Maybe just try to be more welcoming in your welcome notes. We are seasoned travellers and none of us had ever seen that in a welcome note!

Great location with views & walking distance to the lake & town.
comfortable and clean, loved having the kayaks & bikes to explore the lake.
nothing , Happy with everything

beds were very comfortable and the kayaks were great.
very small kitchen - while it may sleep 11 comfortably it would be very difficult to cater for that number. We had five people stay and food prep and cooking for that number was extremely difficult as there is no cooker and only one electric hot plate. There is a bbq but is difficult to use when it’s raining. It would also be good if there was an indoor space to dry clothes/clothes airer and a small shelf in the shower to store shampoo and shower gel on.

Location
There were older bikes & kayaks
Be aware that this was not a 5 bedroom home. This was a 2 bedroom home with 3 sheds with double beds in them and no direct access to the home. For anyone to use the kitchen, lounge room, or bathroom, you had to walk through the garden, put in a code to get in the door, use a key (one key for everyone) to use the toilet, which was outside. This is not the home you want to stay in if you have small children.
The user instructions were very harsh. It was not a friendly experience.
The bikes were very worn out, and our hands are still stained from the grips.

Was perfect set up for our group of people.
Was short a couple of towels

Heater in the shower room.
Close to town. Had access to bikes and kayaks but didn’t use them.
Clean and able to cook a meal.
Bathroom was in a separate building so if you have to go the the bathroom in the night, you have to go outside. No heat in the bathroom so if is cold outside, the visit isn’t pleasant.
No place to hang coats or hangers for clothes.
3 of the bedrooms are in separate buildings- none of which have a bathroom.

Loved that we could all have our own space! Had everything we needed - even down to ice bricks so that we could transport sandwiches to Milford and Doubtful Sounds. The wifi speed was excellent. Highly recommend!

Location was very good. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The owner/hostess was terrific in mailing home a teddy, which was left behind! Great service.
The separate room set-up but it worked.
4.0
location, comfortable
Probably just that I didn’t realise the bedrooms were outside the main house when I booked

had a lovely stay at the property. Clean, great location and the kayaks were great fun
3.0
Cleanliness and fully enclosed yard so kiddie safe. 1min from lake shore.
The bedrooms are actually separate cabins with no toilets or bathrooms, the main house also has a the toilet accessible only by going outside.
4.5
Great use of the bikes, thankyou :)
4.0
Location, cleanliness, use of kayaks, comfort
We had planned to cook for the 5 of us on 2 nights and the kitchen facilities made this a struggle - an oven and a 2nd stove top ring would have been helpful. Also a coffee plunger,
