Stayed here with family for a weekend vacation & had a blast. House is older but well-kept & with nice amenities. Great price point for the space. The downstairs bunkbeds have been replaced with a double bed, which was appreciated since we were a group of all adults. We walked down to the beach the first day & caught a gorgeous sunset. Would return!

This house has good beds and nice linens. It has an older quirky kitchen and bathroom. Plenty of lounging space and deck with ocean views.

We so enjoyed this house! The two living areas were perfect, we had a 3 year old with us, she could nap or watch cartoons with her cousin downstairs while we were upstairs watching movies. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. We did a couple of big jigsaw puzzles on the dining room table with a beautiful view of the ocean. Our toddler played with bubbles on the deck with glee! The birds sing all day and into the night in the trees around the deck. The kitchen has lots of dishes and serving pieces so we were able to eat in as a family. Can't wait until next year when we take our annual beach trip again!

This house was great for our family beach weekend. There was 7 of us & a dog. It is clean, fully stocked kitchen, BBQ on the deck. We like that there was a seperated area downstairs with an entertainment area with TV for movies or games, a bedroom, bathroom & additional sleeping for my son & his family! The living room, kitchen/dining, 2 bedrooms, bathroom is upstairs. There is a gate for dogs...area not very big but we were down at the beach alot so our dog got plenty of outside time at the beach! Overall, very pleased & would consider visiting this house again!

Our group had an amazing time here at this house! It fit all 8 of us wonderfully. It has a beautiful view of the ocean from the upstairs balcony that we enjoyed while we were there. We loved our experience inside the house.
As many other people have mentioned it is VERY steep to get up to the house. Everyone has said that the driveway was steep, but what is the difficult part is the road leading up to the house. It's the last house at the top of the hill, so you really have to drive quickly all the way up, and then sharply turn into the driveway. In the winter I can see how this would be incredibly difficult in a car without AWD. There are a lot of large pine trees around it that drop their needles making the road slick. Please use caution and really commit when driving up this road. We had some difficulty and definitely had some times where our tires spun trying to get into the driveway.

We used the house as a jumping off point for a Saturday fishing trip out of Garibaldi. Beautiful views, lots of great sleeping options, and lots of privacy. A fun karaoke bar at the end of the road was the perfect way to end the trip.

Lovely time. Nice facility. Parking a little weird but really not a problem. Truly, the only negative is that 2 pieces were missing from the puzzle we put together. 😁 We would have no problem booking it again.

Overall nice home. Very clean. Bathroom shower heads were low for average height persons.
We had a very nice time. Thank you.

It is a great, quiet, place to get away! Enjoyed it a lot. Only complaint, the walk to the beach front feels longer on the return because you have to walk up a large hill to get back.

The amount of stairs and no railing on second set i was unable to go upstairs so had to stay on bottom floor entire time bathroom door is not to code very narrow. Towels are stained need to be replaced

The house has a beautiful view and the separate living spaces is nice for two families or couples. The house is not as advertised tho and they need to update it! One reason we rented the house was for the bunk beds that aren’t there anymore but they still advertise it. Plus the “yard” is overgrown with berry bushes, and no one picked up the dog poop from the previous renters. The bottom part of the home has a strong mildew smell. The kitchen is so crammed you can’t open the fridge all the way. We had to move the couch because the way it was arranged was silly, and there were mounds of dog hair and dust bunnies under it like it’s never been moved to clean. The couch has dog hair and things on it and we vacuumed them. There was sticky stuff on the wall behind the couch a well and it looked like non of the baseboards were ever cleaned.
Vacasa responded to my cleanliness complaint by wanting to send someone over to clean the house again, which would have been nice if it weren’t hours later and we weren’t already there settled and making dinner. They tried the next day, showing up at our door, and again I told them no, we are already here and do not want people in the space.
Overall not the best experience and probably won’t rent that house again.

This place was awesome and matched exactly to the pictures. I was so impressed. It had everything we needed and was a short walk to the Main Street and beach.
Initially one of the bedrooms had bunk beds in the picture but when we got there it was a double bed, which worked out even better for us. It was a pleasant surprise. Would highly recommend if you want a bit of privacy but still want to be close to everything.

Pros: plenty of room, open concept, hot water, stocked kitchen, short walk to ocean
Cons: water has been turned off by the city , wasted 2 hours trying to get ahold of someone to get it turned back on, kitchen sink faucet needs to be fixed it doesn’t stay off, dog hair on the sheets

The place was nice and had a lot of room for our big family. We were not happy with the lack of cleaning, dusty everywhere and blankets had hard stick substances on them as if never washed. The hill to park on was a little rough and needed 4 wheel drive to get up on part of it but that wasn't too bad. Still a very pretty house and nice view!

We loved our stay! The beds were comfy and everything was very clean. Loved the view off of the deck and the minute drive to the beach. One wish is that there were coffe filters! I don’t pack them because they are usually there.☺️

The house was comfortable and there was plenty of room for us all. There were lots of extra towels and linens. All cookware we needed for making meals. The driveway is steeper than expected but the view from the house is great. After a day at the beach, it would be convient/ helpful if there were a hose outside the house to rinse sand off yourself before walking in the door.

Centrally Located Home
We enjoyed our stay at this home. For able bodied folks it was a 10-minute walk to the downtown and beach access area. The house had all the basic amenities you would expect. Good choice for families with children (not infants) because of the downstairs area.
It would have been nice to have more information on the home and sights to see in the area, like a welcome binder. When we arrived both outside garbage cans were packed full and there was no information on what day the garbage pick up was, or a local Vacasa number to call, only a national one that couldn't answer the question.

The view from this home is beautiful. The refrigerator, dishwasher and W&D worked well. The dishes/utensils appeared to be clean, as did the towels. There was an ample amount of towels for use as well.
The floors were clean and the kitchen had what we needed to cook our meals.
No coffee filters available. Dish detergent was near empty. The downstairs’ bathroom sink would not drain as the lever could not be pulled. We inevitably had to place a fork in between the drain to hold it in place to allow for drainage. The upstairs’ bathroom mats were filthy.
The top bunk railing is quite shaky and sturdy. We did not feel comfortable having our 6 year old sleep up there as a result.
Although the upstairs remained warm, the downstairs was difficult to heat. It was cold and
uncomfortable at night time.
Unfortunately, the RODENT/BAT and/or CRITTER within the walls of the upstairs’ bedrooms left us feeling extremely uncomfortable and unsettled. We could hear the scratching in the walls upon getting in bed to sleep. It was extremely disruptive as we felt unsettled and disturbed by this. It is extremely eerie to attempt to sleep in a room listening to a critter scratching the walls, and thus we felt displaced each night. We unfortunately did not experience restful sleep as a result.
Despite the beautiful view, we will not be returning to this home.
Of note, we did not reach out to report the issue of the rodent as we assumed it was not something that could be resolved within a matter of 3 days.

Amazing View!
My Family thoroughly enjoyed staying in this home so much so we didn’t want to leave. Close to town and beach. Mountain hill views on one side and almost 180 deg views from the deck. All the accommodations of home. Lots of Linens, towels/beach towels, comfy beds and furniture, and the softest throw blankets to snuggle up and watch the sunset right from the main room. Would definitely book this place again!
