The views are amazing! Ocean views from large windows. Our bed was very comfy. Loved that you had a washer dryer. The master bedroom bath and shower were so nice. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Very quiet neighborhood. Beach towels and nice beach area. This is a great house to visit!

Loved loved loved this vacation rental!
Home is tucked in a wooded private area with an expansive ocean view.
The pictures on the website do not do the place justice. Furnishings were very nice and comfortable ie sofas, chairs, beds... The large jacuzzi tub off the primary bedroom an added bonus.
The home was amazingly comfortable and serene.
Absolutely recommend this vacation rental and hope to return in a couple of years!

Quirky but great. We had a fun time with our kids. Tons of space for 3 adults and 4 kids. Great views in a relaxed space

Our group of six adults enjoyed the large living spaces this home provided. Quick drive to Rockaway shops and restaurants. Great spot for beach getaway!

Absolutely beautiful views! We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The house is on the older side, but things are roomie and well kept. I did notice a few cobwebs in the corners of rooms & bathrooms, but that’s the only negative I can think of. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful views. Kitchen and bathrooms not as clean as I would like. Should know that you just need to put all the flatware and glasses in the dishwasher and run it.
Other than that we had a very nice time.

Great location overlooking the town and the ocean. The layout of the house works with multiple groups. The house was free of dust and looked clean, but the towels, sheets, pillows, beds and decor indicate that the house has not been updated in decades and could use a refresh. The showers need a deep clean.

The location is perfect - great views from upper floor fun room and out door deck - very private surrounding - yes driveway is easy to miss but that part of the privacy. We prepared all meals in house - kitchen preformed great for all our needs - one minor issue BBQ - ran out of gas and back up tank was empty or broken -walking to the beach is easy if your OK with a short up hill on the return - good proxisimity to Tillamook Creamery and Oswald state park - which has a great beach for surfing and playing in the ocean

We picked this property because of the deck with views and it did not disappoint! You could see the ocean from all of the rooms in this house and we slept with the windows open listening to the ocean. House was comfortable and clean, kitchen was fairly well stocked with things you need to cook a basic meal. They had games to play and some book to read on the shelf. 2 min drive into rockaway and close to a market. I will definitely be back here again! Highly recommend :)

Place was spacious and clean. Location is not too far fr the beach. Amenities were perfect for what we needed.

This place was awesome! The location is close enough to town/the beach to walk, and yet has lots of privacy being on its own little drive. Loved all the trees and green on the road up to the house. The views from the deck were awesome. Spent most of our time out there! Inside was clean, spacious, and comfy for our large group.

The house was perfect for our family reunion. Nice kitchen, living room overlooking the town and ocean. A short drive to the ocean. The reason for the four stars though is the lack of care to the porch and outside vegetation. It hasn’t been trimmed in awhile and the porch view is reduced because of it. The porch needs sanding and restraining too. Other than that we had a nice time and as mentioned the house is very nice.,

The view was gorgeous! The house has a ton of room for a big group, plus the kitchen is actually well stocked! I'd recommend bringing your own kitchen knives though- not many good ones there. Quiet, tucked away neighborhood with ample parking and a beautiful deck!

Our weekend stay at White Water Pines was delightful despite the rain and drizzle. The house has beautiful views from several rooms and deck. The house lacks nothing, from kitchen to living areas to bedrooms. It is especially nice that bedrooms are on different levels and having the large den upstairs. Many windows afford great natural light and ocean views. We’ll be back!

We very much enjoyed the beautiful views from this roomy and comfortable home. The location is private and serene. The home is well equipped and would have received a 5, except for some of the older/worn items such as the downstairs couch the sinks on one side, uncomfortable pillows (in my opinion), hard mattress and some Teflon pans that have scratches. Overall we loved our week here and would rent it again!

Great location on the coast, easy to access all of the local beach towns. The house is spacious with great ocean views and was very clean. The property is currently managed by Vacasa, who I have had great experiences with and this was no exception.
Some suggested improvements: replace main living room rug (badly stained which gives an impression of dirtiness- house was NOT dirty), trim bushes and trees around deck/driveway, replace outdoor grill or tanks and have instructions, add some fans for hotter weather, stock the kitchen with a few more essentials such as a tea kettle and tin foil/baggies etc.

We came here to stay for our annual family vacation to the Oregon coast. The house sits a short 10 minute walk up the hill from the beautiful Rockaway beach, where there are a number of lovely shops and restaurants, one of which has some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had (and I’m not generally a fish and chips fan). And the beach was just perfect for the family, with a small creek to play in that runs into the beach. It is also right by the steam train station, which we all absolutely loved. The house has gorgeous views throughout and the deck is well equipped with comfy lounging chairs to soak in the afternoon sun and sunsets. We could even see a flag on the beach from the deck that let us know how windy it was at the beach so we could prepare accordingly. Overall a wonderful house, setting and distance from the beach. Would definitely recommend!!

Serene and good view
Had a great time staying at the property. The location is good, just had little hard time finding the entrance to the property as it’s on a hill. The property is clean and had great view of the ocean and nice deck to relax on. The house is spacious and accommodate 6-8 people easily. Not many options for food as the town is small. Still would recommend the house for stay.

We just spent 4 wonderful days here. What I loved was how quiet and peaceful it was. I was worried that we'd be too far away to have a good view of the beach, but I need not have worried. The view is gorgeous and you can hear the waves from the house. The house is more than comfortable and had everything we needed/wanted for a pleasant stay.
If I have suggestions they are: I would put room darkening curtains in the master bedroom. I'm not a morning person and it gets bright in there early. There were a few ants in the house, so when we put anything on the floor it got ants. The woodburning fireplace is part of what drew us to this house, but there isn't any wood for the fire - just be aware. There is a lighter, but it took us 2 days to find it. :-) The place is dog-friendly, which also drew us there, but also be aware that the house does not have much yard space and it's not fenced, so you can't just let your dog roam freely outside.

Great view!
Amazing views made this place an excellent stay. It was very clean upon arrival. Kudos to the cleaning crew! Nice amenities. Up a hill which provides the great views, but may not be for everyone that wants to walk to the beach, which is about a half mile or so away. Only thing that would make it better would be a hot tub on the deck.

This house worked very well for our big family Spring Vacation stay. It was wonderful to be able to bring the fur child too! The house is in a great location, a short drive to the cute little shops in Rockaway, and of course the beach! Definitely check out the Beach Bakeshop. Super yummy!
The house could be improved with better pillows, along with more dish detergent and laundry detergent left for occupant use. The house sleeps 8 people, and we had it packed. We were only left with 1 tab of dish detergent a day, which was definitely not enough. We had 5 active kids in tow, so the limited laundry soap wasn't adequate either. I ended up having to buy more soap which was super expensive at the little corner mart. Bring your own if you have a large group.
Over all, it was a good place for our Oregon Coast adventures.

Gorgeous, but with Major Problems
We arrived Friday at 4 PM. The driveway is difficult to find and parking is only suitable for two cars if you want to turn around in order to drive forward to exit. Previous reviews mentioned the sticky door, but did not speak to the severity of it. We got in, but Saturday AM one of our party took a walk. When she returned she could not get in the unlocked door. She pushed with her shoulder, knocked and we pulled from the inside. After five minutes of pushing from the outside and pulling from the inside it finally opened. Management responded to our SOS call for repair and thought they had fixed it. The next day we had the same issue so they came & replaced the doorknob. Meanwhile later that first Saturday, one of our party wanted to take a shower. The shared bath had a one-stream dribble, so we checked the master bath. It had a three-stream dribble. Each faucet was fully open when tried. We did have full water pressure in the kitchen and laundry room. So we washed our hair in the kitchen sink and took sponge baths in the bathroom. A plumber arrived Monday morning only to say he could not fix the problem because it was a broken water meter. He called the city which came out Tuesday morning. They replaced the water meter then asked if we had water running. We responded “no” & were told we would have to vacate because they were required by law to turn all water off. The plumber returned to dig up the water line from the meter down the hill to the home. While the manager was there we stood outside and discussed the still sticking door. He pointed out that the door frame is warped because the house is settling on the hillside, so the metal door catches on it. Solution: prop up and level this home. Vacasa eventually found another home for us to relocate, but not for our final night. Also the deck railing is rotting and has only been painted, not replaced. We rejected our final home placement in Oceanside because the hillside was literally falling down under the home and dirty linens were on the beds or floor and sour washcloths in the shower (2 hours after check-in time). That money was refunded. We are still waiting for a refund on this first home. Vacasa needs to remove homes from their listing until all repairs are complete and more frequently check the status and safety of homes for occupancy.

Wonderful Home
This was an amazing property and perfect for us! The beds were very comfortable, the layout of the house was great, and the secluded location was great. We brought our dog, and she had a wonderful time also! The master bath is lovely - but 1 recommendation would be an upgrade in the shower heads. Overall - it was a great stay!

Beautiful views but falls short
After staying at a Vrbo rental in Hood River for the first half of our vacation, which was pristine in cleanliness, living room stocked with games and puzzles. Kitchen stocked with spices. Condiments. Trash can liners, teakettle, detergent for the washing machine, etc. we were a bit shocked at the lack of any of those items, and the old stained carpet, spider webs around most windows. And perhaps the worst thing was it seems that the bed at the very top of the stairs has bedbugs as both our son and his partner ended up with little bites on their arms and torso. I left a note got the cleaning people regarding that as well as the fact that we couldn’t start a wash of sheets or towels before we left S there wasn’t any detergent. We could see that at one time the hone was beautiful. It has beautiful views. Is in a beautiful location and we enjoyed ourselves, our walks, and being together regardless of the situation.
