Located just south of the Carolina Beach Boardwalk and a short stroll from the famous Ocean Grill Tiki Bar and Carolina Beach Greenway, this two bedroom, two bathroom condo in the Salty Hammocks complex is in the perfect location to relax and unwind.
Nearly everything in this unit is brand new and you can see the ocean from almost every room!! The view from the main living space is literally floor to ceiling with the oversized 3 pane sliding door connecting you to the ocean. The main bedroom suite has beautiful feature wall with a stunning king size platform bed and adjoining full bathroom complete with tub and shower. The second bedroom has an adult size/adult rated full over full bunk arrangement with its own balcony on the west side of the unit. It also features a twin size trundle bed for additional sleeping arrangements for children.
Since it is so close to the water and on the 3rd floor, the ocean is literally all you can see through the front windows making you feel like you are one with the sea. The stove faces the beach so you can watch the waves while you cook. The ocean facing deck is larger than most condos and it is covered which is a rare find for top floor units. This is crucial after a hot day on the beach or when it is raining and you still want to sit outside and gaze into the horizon.
The kitchen boasts ample counter space, stainless appliances, Keurig coffee maker and seating for 9. A third private balcony off the kitchen lets in more natural light. The kitchen opens up to the main living space so you are never far away from family and friends. The sofa in the main living space pulls out to a queen size bed to offer more sleeping options.

Clean, comfy and well stocked accommodations, beautiful view, convenient location, delicious restaurants, wonderful getaway. Even though we had heavy rain at times, we could still enjoy the ocean from the expansive living room window and didn’t get wet when leaving to go out since we were always sheltered by covered balcony, stairs and car area. That’s a plus in my book.

We couldn’t have been more impressed with our stay. This slice of heaven literally had everything + more that we, as a family of 5 needed-including-three kids under 6. No reason to bring beach chairs, beach towels, beach toys, phone charges (they have a variety) pack and play, all kitchen utensils, linens, even coffee, dry creamer and spices. The location was great. We can’t wait to go back and appreciate the host quick responses.

I would highly recommend this property to a family of 4 as it was set up nicely for that! It was super clean and has light refreshing decor perfect for the beach. The balcony had an amazing view of the beach. We will rent here again next time we come to Carolina Beach!

I stayed with my daughter and grand daughter who is 2 1/2. She loved all the games and children’s books. The condo was clean and looked like all the pictures. The only issue we had was the outside door after putting in the code it was stuck a neighbor came to our rescue and pushed it a little harder then we were and it opened. The view is great and we enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you for letting us enjoy your place.

This rental was very clean. The owners checked in with us after arriving to make sure everything was good and if we needed anything. The view can't be beat. I appreciated that the lounge furniture on the deck was clean and use-able (not always the case with rentals). You could tell that the owners have put work into updating the rental. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay here. It is the perfect place to be if the weather is not perfect. The views are spectacular and the whole place is full of light and cheery. The check in/out process was simple. Arrived during the full moon. Nothing like sitting on the balcony watching contrasting silvery slivers of waves glinting in the darkness.
Morning sunrises led to dolphins and surfers vying for space. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked with necessities.
We were able to relax. Check in and check out is very organized with clear directions.

I loved this place! It was in a great location. The place was immaculate. Chad and Danielle thought of all of the extras that truly matter from beach towels to bandaids. Kitchen was fully stocked. Beds were super comfortable. Loved being right on the beach but also having access to the pool. Danielle and Chad were great communicators. Provided lots of information about the area and restaurants to try. We will be back!❤️

We enjoyed our stay in Carolina Beach. The condo was a great choice for us with close proximity to the beach, great kitchen amenities and beautiful deck. The condo itself was exactly as pictured in the photos. The décor was bright and very coastal beachy feeling. We had our two kids with us and the bunk beds were perfect for them. The views from the deck were beautiful and we spent a lot of time out there. The pool was a nice treat and the beach itself was wonderful. Carolina Beach felt like a small beach community. Overall, it was a great vacation.

Hands down the most amazing VRBO experience. The property was beautiful and impeccably maintained. The owner has everything so well organized from the directions to operate, locate and maintain everything in the home to the wonderful welcome email with tips and suggestions for the area. I made the mistake of going to the store to stock up on necessities before seeing the condo. I didn't need half of what bought! The kitchen had everything you need to cook! Not just a few things...EVERYTHING! Communication with the owner was great! I hope to be back someday!

Our experience at this place was wonderful. My husband and I traveled with our two young kids and it had everything we could need. We spent hours outside on the porch overlooking the ocean and playing Tiki Toss (which we Amazon primed for when we got home.) It was so great to not have to pack beach necessities like toys, umbrella, chairs, wagon, games, etc; this was all provided for us and saved us so much space in packing! The owners texted on the first day so we knew they could help us with anything we need. We followed a lot of their recommendations on restaurants and things to do, which was a really nice touch that they provided. We'll definitely be back!

This is one of the nicest places we have ever rented! So cute, clean and well-provisioned! The porch feels like you are literally sitting beside the ocean—perfect for winter or rainy days when you still want to enjoy the sounds and feel of the beach. Perfect get away for me and my teen girls, but would have been perfect for a friends trip or romantic getaway!

The condo is as beautiful as the pictures. We've never stayed in a condo where you come in through the balcony, but have to say that we loved it! It makes it very private and blocks out noise even though we did not have any. The bed was very large and comfortable. The decor is very beautiful. The light that comes in from both balconies is spectacular. Lastly the oceanfront balcony is one of the best I've seen, very spacious. Can't wait to return. Thank you Chad & Danielle.

The property was well maintained and the location was great. The owners responded promptly and positively to a couple of issues I had. One issue was the fact that we were required to put the sheets on our own beds. I was told this is common, though not universal. This is very difficult for older adults when the bunk beds need to be made. I was assured by the owners that this will be remedied by a new cleaning service. Also, like another renter stated, the checkout procedure seemed a bit stringent considering the cost of the unit and the cleaning fee. Overall, I would recommend this property for a nice beach getaway.
