Beautiful cabin with lake views and access. Lovely rustic decor with updated cabin. Very relaxing spot. Peaceful and quiet close to logging roads.
Comfy bed, nice shower/laundry. Only thing that could be updated is living room furniture. Great kitchen with plenty of space.

We loved staying here - we didn't want to leave! The house has everything one could need: kitchen ware and appliances, full-size fridge and freezer, bedrooms had extra blankets to use if needed (pillows were flat - bring your own if you don't like that), bathroom had supplies (toilet paper and hygiene items - like you would at a hotel), there was an outdoor grill (gas), the place was fully furnished inside and out.
Oh, and the views! The views were stunning from the deck and dock, which overlooked Moosehead Lake. The water was clean and there was a canoe with life jackets available for use.
Don't hesitate to book this house/cabin!
Note: the cabin has Wifi but it's very slow (honestly, I was surprised they're able to get Wifi at all). Don't depend on Wifi for entertainment - bring books, etc.

This is a great cabin. It has a nice, flat lawn with a fire pit that looks out on Lily Bay. The inside is fully appointed with comfy furniture, a full kitchen (no dishwasher) and the washer/dryer combo is a game changer. There are sliding doors on the lake side so you can fall asleep listening to the loons. Don’t put a crowd in here or you’ll be falling all over each other - I’d say 4 max. It is lovely, we enjoyed our stay, left relaxed and will likely be back in the future.

Well kept place right on the water. Short drive to Greenville to pick up supplies or enjoy dinner at one of the restaurants. Home was very clean and stocked with amenities. Would definitely recommend!!

The home was very nice and cozy. The owner was very friendly and told us we could use the red canoe which was very nice.
I have never stayed in a Vrbo that didn’t have a tv, hairdryer or games. That would have been nice to know a head of time. The communication with bad as was. Wry frustrating as we had questions before our trip that were not answered but then they were ans6 times in a row once we arrived

We had the best time at this sweet little house on the lake. We swam every day and brought our kayaks. Great halfway point between town and the Golden Rd!

I love this cabin so much! The closer to the quiet lake experience for me the better. You can hear the loons from every room. Clean and comfortable yet rustic Maine at its finest. Beds are comfortable. Close to town but off the beaten path. Owner was kind and helpful when I needed him, went above and beyond.

We stayed two nights to access the local hunting area. The cabin is very cute and well decorated in rustic way. The linens and towels are nice, travel size soap, shampoo and conditioner was a nice touch. Well stocked kitchen. The dock was removed during our stay so we loss that use. A bit bummed we couldn’t use the kayaks or canoes there as they are noted to be owners use only. The listing stated use a kayak, wish I knew I would need to bring mine. Beautiful setting, loons, ducks, sun set were all appreciated. Private. No tv. Would definitely stay again.

We liked the location on the lakefront and the pleasant setting and views across the water. It was convenient to places we roamed and was comfortable for us and our two dogs.

This property was not clean, there was a mildew smell immediately upon entering. There was mold on most of the window ledges, the fridge handle had built up gunk on it that we could scrape off, some of the dishes were dirty, there was dust on the end tables, and there was wet muddy grass in the slider tracks. This property is not as shown in the images online. It appears to be light and airy. It is cluttered, dark, musty. The walls are cluttered with antlers, fish trophies, old paintings with old, worn frames. There just wasn't enough room for all the furniture, we could not find space for our belongings. It looks like a camp from the 1930s. The 2nd BR was supposed to have a double bed (as shown in the images). It has a bunk bed now, that is off to the side so you cannot open the window (which is covered with a piece of fleece). There are torn window screens. The master BR was so musty and the window would not open, so we had to sleep in the bottom bunk of the other room. Definitely rustic and not worth it for the price.

We love to be steps from the water to do yoga on the dock, swim and kayak, bring close to nature - we saw deer, moose and fox kits, so many birds. A wonderful stay!

Located at end of road on beautiful Lily Bay. Great location for kayaking and accessing wild areas north of Moosehead. HOWEVER...Cabin definitely needs some maintenance. Some electrical and appliance issues occurred at the end of our stay.

We loved the cabin! It was awesome! The place was very clean and had access to the lake.
Only complaint is having be woken up at 8am one morning by the mowing crew with no notification. There also was excavation being done during our stay which made it difficult to fully relax. That was disappointing.

Was a very nice stay. Cabin had pretty much everything we needed. Didn’t see any moose though. View was great from the cabin. Timed it perfectly to see the fall leaves.

Honeymoon
My wife and I booked this place for a weekend honeymoon and it was great. It's down a long dirt road, but the directions provided for us right there no problem. There's a nice view and everything you need is right there. Thanks for the great stay!

Cute small cottage on the water
Loved the location, perfect for kyacking, bonfires and listening to the loons at night... downside was very small water heater provided extremly short warm showers. While on vacation it's nice to be able to take a decent shower. Also too much moose hunting decor..and shared driveway that was not mentioned in listing. Not as private as we had hoped. All in all nice spot, but will continue looking for a better fit for our family when we return to Moosehead.

Great retreat
Cottage is roomier than it looks, near the end of a road that made it great for our dogs. Road was a great walk at least daily. Quiet and peaceful. Shallow water out front( water is low everywhere this year) rented kayaks which were great. Cabin does have a grill and washer dryer. Great deck to sit on and enjoy the quiet. Wouldn’t hesitate to rent again

Great get away 5 stars
Rustic camp with everything you need. Wonderful views and great place to canoe and kayak. Saw some moose / turkeys / foxes / deer. Very clean and just and overall positive experience with the family. Greenville is such an awesome town as well.

Rustic Maine Cabin
The house was a great base for our trips in the area. It's rustic and remote, but that's what we liked about it. When you need to disconnect, it's a good choice.
