Quirky and friendly in a great location. The staff are excellent.

Was really close to the centre
It was very noisy at night , our windows were facing the highway, not much sleep we had and the bed was too soft not to my liking. The room size was far so small

Staff were attentive and helpful food was delicious
There was not any liquid soap in teh bathroom, which must have been an oversight

Breakfast was good. The location is good but the road is noisy ( we like an open window).
Wasn’t as clean as hoped for. Simple things like wiping the bathroom door and cleaning bathroom shelf down properly (toothpaste? was on the shelf above the basin). The shower sends a lot of water onto the floor! And the bathroom is so narrow you have to dry in the shower so as not to hit the walls. And you have to keep the bathroom door open due to no window and lots of steam. Just little things but they leave a lasting memory of what could be a great hotel. Only other downside is the up and down stairs to get to the bedroom.

Clean cosy room
Comfy bed
Great piano entertainment
Limited evening menu
Slightly abrupt breakfast staff member

Very friendly staff, our room was amazing, the Carling suite had a separate lounge which we used as a bedroom for our toddler. The restaurant and piano bar were lovely and the live music made it extra special.
Not much really.

The room was lovely and the reception staff very nice. However the breakfast experience was so bad our second morning we went elsewhere.
Breakfast bad and poor service

Good location, short walk to town centre. Nice sized clean room. Staff friendly and helpful.
4.5
Great location. Staff were all super friendly and accommodating. Bed was comfy. Nice to have the bar area and theatre on site too.
Attention to detail in the room could've been better on terms of having extra toilet roll, changing out the old water in the coffee machine, replacing bulbs in the lamps...

Beautiful property. So thoughtfully decorated throughout. Wonderful staff in all departments. Great location & service. My room was gorgeous. I would stay again. I was so well looked after. As a single lady traveling solo this is a big thumbs up!
Nothing! Only downside was the late delivery of pre show dinner. A pre booked table with a show note. Food arrived after almost an hour after ordering. We didn’t have time for dessert. However, the staff were again, exemplary & the food was delicious.

convenient for the town , nice lounge and handy carpark
some sort of security light in the bedroom ceiling was too bright at night

- Staff were very friendly and helpful
- Room was very spacious, it was very easy to move around and plenty of space for big luggage
- Love the mini living room by the window
- Bed and pillows were very comfortable
- Big bathroom with walk-in shower, anti-slippery mat provided
- A plus on the fan
Nothing at all, everything was perfect!

Lovely boutique hotel which has been expertly interior designed to convey a lovely sense of being transported away to somewhere special. Character of period building maintained despite extensive renovations. All bedrooms 1 or 2 levels up and may not be suited to people with less mobility. Separate lounge available for guests but seems disconnected from a bar, though drinks can be ordered via reception. Teatro restaurant was very good for dinner, with excellent service from the team. Bedroom in keeping with front of house decor and spacious, including bathroom. Ask if you actually want or need a bath tub. Nice touches like fresh milk and biscuits etc. All in all a good experience.
When you first arrive, your heart sinks as the hotel lacks a Cotswold country setting. It is on the edge, but still in town and actually right beside the main road A429 separated by the River Churn with large public parking right outside. However, once you accept this it really is ok and made up for by very cheap 24 hour parking and strolling distance into town centre. Difficult to block out road noise (not terrible late) if you want windows open as room gets quite warm. Do not expect this to be a problem in winter. Breakfast service let down the experience a little and lost them 10/10.

We liked everything about the hotel: the decor, cleanliness, location (near town centre and nature reserve), very friendly and professional staff, value for money, extra touches (such as water and milk in the fridge supplied every day, coffee machine making lovely coffee, etc.) and amazing breakfast!
We had a dinner in the hotel's restaurant and it was a great experience too.
What we really like was the attention to detail - well done Ingleside House staff!

Very close to town centre
Impossible to shave in the bathroom mirror never cleared of Steam, Wife said plug's were not well placed for make up & doing hair....... Breakfast was hopeless & certainly not a £200 a night B&B, no cereals offered or Marmalade, seemed so short of staff. Asked for Brown sauce with breakfast & told there wasn't any.....next morning was the same!!! If they'd said I could have bought a bottle when we went into Town.....it stopped us dining there of an evening. NOT A £200 a NIGHT B&B

Nicely decorated rooms (although small). Excellent breakfast. We enjoyed dinner on the patio too. Walking distance to center of town. Parking is extremely convenient and not expensive.
Rooms are tiny, no place to set luggage for unpacking. Otherwise excellent.

really easy to get to, the hotel and room was so cosy and the service from staff was second to non. absolutely first class service.
absolutely nothing, very hard to think of any when everything was above and beyond.

The staff were lovely and very accommodating. We were doing a 100km walk the following morning, so they provided fresh pastries for us as we needed to leave before the official start of breakfast. We would definitely return!

The decor was so unique and interesting. The property itself was just beautiful- so many original features lovingly restored. Location was perfect in respect of a 10 min walk into Cirencester town centre.
There’s nothing we didn’t like

Excellent from every perspectives. I regretted not living longer here. The receptionist helped us upon check-in and introduced the room usage to us. The decoration of the room is ten times better than the picture. The room is big. This is the best hotel during my two weeks travel around Scotland and England. The restaurant provided nice food.
4.5
Loved the decor and vibe of the whole property. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Good and drinks were great! Enjoyed the piano singer. Easy to walk to town.
4.5
Size of room, lovely comfy bed, big bath and massive shower.
No kettle, couldn’t see out of windows as a film was put over them. Hard to work out heating.

This venue is lovely; the breakfast was great and the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms are clean and large, and the staff were lovely. We had a really nice stay.
Nothing!

Everything about our stay was very good
Maybe a room on a lower level, quite a few stairs to climb. Will remember this for any future stay

It was a pleasant and warm stay and made us feel sad about leaving the hotel!
The piano bar is an amazing highlight of the weekend too. 😍
Can't think of a lot to be honest, it was a great vibe.

Good location within easy walking distance of town centre , well maintained & tastefully decorated
