Fantastic cottage, highly recommend.

Shadow’s Cottage is beautiful, comfortable, well equipped and well situated. Everything has been thoughtfully considered for the perfect stay including a fabulous welcome hamper and doggie treats, bowl & blanket.

Immaculate, spacious and attention to detail is superb. Furnishings and decor is beautiful. There is everything you need, Even hot water bottles. Welcome basket is such a lovely touch. Location could not have been better. Will certainly be back xx

We enjoyed our stay at Shadow Cottage. The shops close by perfect for the beach. Perfect for my dog.

The cottage was a cosy comfortable stay. Everything at hand that you require. Close to the beach . Lovely extra touches in the cottage. Light and airy just Devine.

A luxurious stay home from home with every amenity thinkable.

Dog friendly, very comfortable with quality furniture and fittings. Personal touches and treats for us and our dog. Answered any questions we had. Cottage so handy for beach, river and touring area.

Wonderful property in a beautiful location.

Location was great. Just few mins walk to beach, harbour and town centre. Property was larger than expected and I loved the decor with a nautical look. Everything was spotless. The host even provided a welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuits, chocolates and wine. I would like to thank Karen for providing such a fantastic home away from home.

Nothing much. I had backache from bed but could be just being in a different bed. Water pressure in downstairs shower was low with not much power to it, but it didn’t spoil our stay

What a lovely cottage in a great location. The owners have modernised the cottage beautifully. The location is perfect for the beach and the town with parking for one car and a small garden for the dog.

We were sad to leave Shadow Cottage this morning. The owners have created a lovely holiday home with many personal touch

Shadow Cottage is a delightful cottage which is beautifully decorated and furnished throughout. The location is close to the beach, many lovely restaurants and shops. A great base for exploring Nairn and the local area.

There is nothing not to like.

The owner left us a few wee extras - just made our stay that bit more special! We had 2 small dogs with us and again the host had thought of this and left a few wee treats to welcome them too. Cosy cottage, quirky layout but really modern and clean!

All round, an excellent house for our family holiday.

The location was good as near the beach, but also close to the local shops. Situated in a quiet street. Very comfortable accommodation with thoughtful welcome refreshment pack and gifts.

A very lovely property and will be back with no hesitation in recommending the cottage

We were golfers and the cottage was very central and near to the golf club. There were plenty of bars and restaurants in the vicinity of the cottage too.

excellent weekend away

I travelled with my partner and 16 month old daughter and another couple with their 4 month old baby and golden retriever. it was a perfect size for us all. The location was also excellent. also the host was wonderful, she went out our way to make sure we had a good stay!

Wonderful cottage, would love to visit again in the summer time :)

Karen, the host, goes above and beyond to provide excellent hospitality. There are so many small, thoughtful details around the cottage such as hot water bottles (we visited in the winter), maps of Nairn, any sort of kitchen utensil you would need and Karen herself is very helpful and communicative.

Very good

Convenient location with private parking. Excellent welcome pack which was a surprise but lovely, including wine and fudge. Bag of ice in freezer was very considerate.

Shadow cottage trip

The property was well presented and spotless, everything you need was at hand to make your stay a real home from home. The property was central for either getting to the shops or the beach and also had off street parking , The owner was in easy reach if you needed anything and was very friendly and kindly left wine and chocolates to greet us on arrival, the neighbours were very friendly particularly an elderly gentleman called Tom who looked after you like you were his guest , will definitely recommend it to my friends and most certainly be back in the near future
