Very clean property with a good location. House is stocked very well. My only recommendation would be tvs in the bedrooms. Other than that, great place to stay.

The inside of the house was clean, comfortable and charming. The host responded to my questions right away. However, it was disappointing that the outside did not live up to the charm of the inside. Over grown weeds and tall grass was unsightly and made it difficult to potty our puppy.

My friends and I spent 5 days in Leadville after spending 3 days in the Denver area. Leadville was a great center point to visit all the surrounding areas, we were able to checkout Dillon/Frisco, Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, Twin Lakes, Independence Pass, Aspen, Glenwood Springs, and even hike one of the 14ers close by. Leadville itself had its own little charm, but we did'nt spend more than a day or two walking around downtown. The location of the house made it easy to walk down to main street and grab coffee and a bite to each in the morning, and peruse the shops. The house itself was great, having ample space for the 3 of us, 2 bathrooms, laundry, and even a stocked kitchen that allowed us to make a couple homecooked meals. It was very clean, well thought out, and had everything we needed.

Older property that has recently seen a full renovation. Street facing bedroom was the largest with a wonderful ceiling fan and ample closet space and dresser. Back two bedrooms were much smaller (beds were pushed against wall to make it all fit) and no closets, but did have hanging space. Bedding was modern, clean, and comfortable. Both bathrooms were well appointed and very clean with tile, despite the funky old construction. Kitchen had plenty of counter space for a longer stay and appliances were all new and functional. Cabinet space was a bit cramped with all the large unused appliances (crock pots, etc) but great to have all the spices for cooking. Added bonus was modern washer and dryer and large smart tv in living room. Couches weren’t the most comfortable, but they were very clean and modern.
House is in a working class neighborhood, neighbors were extremely polite and enjoyed chatting. Outdoor bbq was modern and huge and worked great. Hose bib was much appreciated for cleaning sports equipment, while fire pit was a nice plus and we took advantage of it one evening. Exterior has very bright flood lights which stay on all night, but thankfully don’t shine into the bedroom windows.
Very close to all of downtown Leadville and to the numerous tails just uphill of the property. It does appear that there will be some new construction starting adjacent to the property, so unknown how this will impact the experience for future guests.

We were very surprised at how nice the Cedar House is! Every inch has been updated. It was immaculate too! We loved the fire pit and outdoor gas grill. The kitchen has all new high end appliances. The rain shower was perfect. The house is really well stocked with every spice you could think of, cooking spray and kitchen ware. Our pup loved the back yard. We are already planning to return!!
