We enjoyed our stay in this nice house. Very roomy. Easy for our elderly mother to get around. Very nice neighborhood. Close to town and a lake and creeks nearbye. The grassy backyard had a leaning fence, the property manager said that was known and to be fixed soon. A very nice kitchen will everything we needed for cooking. Fancy bedrooms and showers. Thank you for the pleasant stay.

Clean and well kept interior within an easy walk to downtown.

The location was very close to downtown and the Mineral Belt trail. The house was well laid out for 4 people. I loved the steam shower in the master bathroom, but the shower head in the other bathroom was broken and left laying on the counter. I would assume the cleaning people took it off and did not replace it.
I also really like the fences backyard that back up to the cemetery. The cemetery was very interesting and a nice place to walk and explore

The house was just as advertised. My family was comfortable. The house had many warming qualities. In temperature and decor! The proximity of ski/snow activities is awesome. I would definitely stay here again. Homeowner was responsive via email and overall gracious!

We didn’t see the binder with all the info on the property until the morning we left. It would have been helpful to have it in the kitchen counter.

We had a group of 5 that thoroughly enjoyed the property. It was spacious and clean. After a hard day of hiking Mt Elbert, our group especially enjoyed the steam shower in the Master Bath. Prior to our stay, I contacted the owner of the property with a couple of questions and she was very helpful and prompt in her reply. I would definitely stay here again,

Found butter and ice cream, didn't touch them; they are still there.
Great location for anyone going to do Leadville Race Series, running or biking.
We've been visiting Leadville since 1986 and this was the best trip.
I recommend the property.

Great place for an escape to the Colorado Rocky Mountains
Nice property - spacious, good amenities, comfortable, dog friendly home in a quiet Leadville neighborhood. The perfect base from which to launch family day trip adventures of fishing, hiking, biking, 4-wheeling, and snow sliding fun into the mountains that surround the historic Wild West Town of Leadville, Colorado. The small backyard offers space for the pup to get outside and a small deck to relax on and toss the tennis ball for some fetch. If the property manager would weed-whack a little, there's even a picnic table that would be ideal for an evening meal as the sun sets over the Continental Divide. We didn't find that we needed anything that we otherwise would have expected. Great place!

Perfect spot
This place is perfectly located to have a great Leadville visit! 5 minutes from downtown, the golf course and Turquoise Lake.
The house feels very roomy and could easily accommodate more than two people. We felt spoiled. It is also well stocked with the extras one needs that can’t necessarily be brought from home. Also, the water is great!
Thanks for sharing your place. We know where we want to stay on our next visit!

We stayed for two months and worked remotely. It was absolutely perfect. It's close to the grocery, downtown, and of course...the Sawatch range. Excellently appointed kitchen. Maureen was kind and responsive.

Perfect house for family vacation
Me and my two sons stayed in the property for our ski trip. Maureen is a great host, everything was very well organized. The house is very cozy and roomy. It's within 15min drive from Ski Cooper and 3min from the grocery store. We're definitely coming back for our next ski vacation.

Beautiful home with everything that we could need included!
This home exceeded our expectations immensely and had everything that we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the steam shower felt amazing! Kitchen and living room were perfect for celebrating thanksgiving. Beautiful backyard and very dog friendly. Location is perfect for being in the snowy mountains. We found snow mobiling about 5 mins from the house and enjoyed snowboarding at copper mountain. So thankful that we got to stay here!

Wonderful
Stayed here for the month of May and thoroughly enjoyed the time. The house wonderful - warm and inviting.
There are up-to-date appliances in the open and well-stocked kitchen. And, if you need groceries, the Safeway is a 5 minute drive. In fact, most everyplace in Leadville is, at most, 15 minutes away.
Loved the master bathroom and especially the steam shower. While the weather was relatively warm during my stay, I can imagine a hot steam shower would hit the spot after a day on the snow.
I have 2 Siberian Huskies who could work off energy playing in the fenced backyard. The house backs up to a large cemetery that is perfect for taking the dogs on long walks and bike rides - there seems to be acres of land with trails snaking though out.
Maureen is super nice and responded quickly to any questions or concerns that I had, and Joe, the caretaker, is a couple of doors if anything urgent would pop up.
Overall, I definitely recommend Maureen's house for a wonderful stay in the mountains.

Comfortable home away from home
Rented this house for the weekend of the Leadville Heavy Half. It all worked out perfectly. The house had plenty of room and was great for pets, hard surface flooring and great backyard. The home was clean and the beds comfortable. The caretaker was very friendly; we talked with him about Leadville for quite a while. Bonus is that the house backs up the one of the cemeteries, which may sound like an odd bonus, but was fascinating for evening walks. We always enjoy visiting Leadville and this home is a great choice.

Roomy and Comfortable Vacation Home!
If you are going to Leadville or Cooper, don't pass up checking on this vacation rental. My husband and I, along with our two dogs stayed two weeks at this vacation home and enjoyed the whole time there. We usually stay at a hotel in Leadville, and we're glad we chose to stay here. The home was clean upon arrival, very roomy and would support a large family gathering. Very open floor plan. All bedrooms are large with comfortable beds. Has everything you would need for your stay. Close to the lake (had a great time fishing), Cooper and downtown. Area was quiet and the fenced in yard was great for the dogs. Joe, the caretaker introduced himself and was very nice. He let you know he was available if you needed anything and will respect your privacy during your stay. The house has been very nicely remodeled. The master bath was great with a nice large tub and a large steam shower (this was great after a day in the cold!). Maureen, the owner, was very accommodating and responsive. Photos accurately support the home, but doesn't show all of the rooms. Would stay at this home again, and would recommend to family and friends. We look forward to our next trip!

Home Away from Home !!
We stayed at this beautiful home during our ski trip in March. We loved the open and spacious floor plan. It was very nice, comfortable and cozy with so many luxuries in it. The wooden floor looked awesome. We loved the antique gas fireplace. The best part was the "fully stocked" kitchen with lots of stuff in the pantry & refrigerator that the owner allowed us to use. We cooked several times in the kitchen and enjoyed it very much. My kids even watched some movies from the DVD library. The beds and linen was very comfortable too. It was very relaxing to soak in the jacuzzi bath tub after a hectic skiing day. The owner is very kind. Overall, we truly felt at home away from home. We would definitely come back some day !!
