Good location and very spacious apartment - large rooms with tall ceilings. Chat/phone communication was responsive especially when checking in (though not too helpful afterwards - see below). Price seems fair for the city/size.
There's an offer for luggage storage in the centre of town - less helpful for the location but probably good for more central Smartflats locations.
Internet was offline from start to finish which was the main issue and not fixed although reported. For tourists this is pretty crucial as instead we needed to pay extra for data when roaming. (It also meant no TV.) Was expecting compensation that wasn't offered.
Minor issues with light fixtures and waste bins that need replacing, hopefully will be tended to after our feedback.
Generally feels like it's a large company with a call centre that's removed from the people managing the properties. With what appears to be a large portfolio of properties around the city, one would expect a maintenance team to be available within hours (or one day) to reset an internet connection or provide a light bulb.

ES UN FRAUDE. No escoger para nada estos apartamentos. Pagué por adelantado el importe a Booking.com por 578,04€ cuando hice la reserva en el mes de Marzo.
Unos días antes del viaje, en abril, los del apartamento me piden hacer un check-in online y que para ello me van a enviar un link. El link no me llega nunca por más que contacto con ellos. El día anterior y con todos los nervios, intento hablar con Booking por teléfono que resulta casi la Odisea de Ulises por lo difícil que resulta. Tras numerosas veces de contactar tanto con el apartamento como con booking recibo el link adecuado. En el check-in online me piden un pdf con mi DNI, mis datos y una foto de mi tarjeta de crédito (de la parte delantera). El mismo día de llegar al apartamento y de madrugada recibo dos cargos NO AUTORIZADOS POR MI NI POR MI BANCO en mi tarjeta de crédito realizados por el apartamento Smmartflats, desglosados en dos importes 526,32€ + 51,72€ que suma el total del importe que yo pagué en su día a Booking.com = 578,04€. A día de hoy y después de mil llamadas e emails tanto a Smartflats como a Booking.com sigo sin recibir el abono. A esto se supone que se le llama disfrutar de tus vacaciones!!! Una vergüenza por el trato impersonal por parte de todos, por arruinarme las vacaciones y por el FRAUDE.

De locatie was goed en het inchecken ging gemakkelijk. Het appartement was ruim en schoon.
De slaapbank in de woonkamer was kapot. Hierover hebben we direct contact gehad, maar er is geen reactie gekomen. Daardoor hebben we een hotelkamer bij moeten boeken. We hebben gevraagd om compensatie, maar ook hier is niet op gereageerd.

La ubicación del departamento es muy buena, llegando de la estación central, tomas el metro y en unos minutos estás en el lugar. Adicionalmente en los alrededores hay tiendas, restaurantes y caminando te puedes trasladar rápidamente a la Gran Plaza. El departamento es muy amplio y tiene una hermosa vista desde sus ventanales. Desconozco la antigüedad del inmueble, pero el haber contado con la presencia de un fantasma en el lugar fue diferente y si bien al principio resultó intimidante, al final resultó divertida ya que la entidad que ahí cohabita es juguetona y bromista (vaya que consiguió jugar con nosotros)
La puerta principal que da a la calle está dañada y por la noche ingresan vagabundos (por la calefacción) No tengo nada en contra de ellos, sin embargo uno estaba dormido al pie del elevador y cuando salí por la mañana nos pegó tremendo susto porque pensamos que era una persona lastimada.

Ottima la posizione a metà tra il centro storico e il parlamento europeo (2 fermate di metro). Sulla strada dei negozi di lusso. Accesso alla metro a 5 metri dall’ingresso. Casa molto grande, ben arredata, ben riscaldata. Scomodo il bagno: uno solo doccia e lavabo l’altro solo wc. Potrebbero essere due bagni con doccia lavabo e wc entrambi e avere il top. C’è asciugacapelli lavastoviglie e lavatrice, pentolame, anche se scarso, piatti tazze bicchieri. Mancano tazzine da caffè. Manca la porta ad una camera da letto

Great location and Very spacious and comfortable apartment.
1. The place felt unsafe as the front door of the building was broken and we didn’t have keys to the apartment, just the entry code. In fact, there was a homeless person sleeping inside the building our last night.
2. Someone from maintenance came in the day of our check out with no email or any heads up from the company.
3. The pipes of the bathroom sink had a strong bad smell.
4. There was no washing up liquid for the dishes. There were two dishwasher tablets but mo dishwasher!

This place should be reported and taken out of Booking.com, this is unacceptable.
It is unsanitary, unpleasant, smelly and dirty everywhere, feels like a ruin, sordid bathroom, with a bathtub completely destroyed, rotten shower curtain, stinking water coming out of the bathroom sink, large hole on the bathroom floor, the tap of the sink in the toilets was broken and couldn’t be closed, with water continuously flowing, 3 mouldy walls, mattress full of dirty marks and hairs, several doors crumbling.
I couldn’t stand such a dirty and unpleasant place so I left and booked another hotel.

Apartmán bol naozaj nádherný, veľký, s čarovnou atmosférou. Lokalita je výborná, jeden krok do metra, ale do centra sa dá prejsť pešo za pár minút, v blízkosti Lidl a hneď vedľa butiky luxusných značiek, nemám čo vytknúť. Apartmán vyzerá rovnako ako na fotografiách.

Bij het doorgeven van de toegangscode beter vermelden dat het op de klink van de deur moet ingegeven worden. We hebben een half uur het sleutelkastje ad muur proberen open te maken. Ik heb noodnummer van jullie diensten gebeld noch ih Engels noch in het Frans bereikbaar. 😖☹️

La casa es muy grande, un poco mal distribuido.
Las camas muy cómodas y eso nos permitió descansar muy bien.
La ubicación excelente, muy cerca del centro y con paradas de tren y Renfe en la puerta.
Súper luminosa y espaciosa.
Cuando abrimos el sofá cama nos encontramos que en el colchón había una botella de cerveza vacía y estaba lleno de papeles,
El agua de la ducha se salía y se nos inundó el baño y tuvimos que poner toallas en el suelo porque no había ni una triste fregona.
La barra de la ducha estaba rota.
El lavabo del inodoro no salía agua y para poder mirarte en el espejo tenías que coger una escalera porque yo no se a quien se le ocurrió esa idea.
Las fotos publicadas en booking , no se corresponden con las de nuestro apartamento, precisamente cogimos este porque nos gustaron mucho las fotos y nos llevamos un poco de decepción.

Extremely difficult to get into the building, broken glass in door, noisy neighbourhood due to traffic etc, one night the door bell rang several times, people knocking door hard, felt unsafe. Hardly any kitchen equipment - impossible to cook proper meal

Lots of noise was coming from the courtyard at the back of the apartment, the place needs some maintenance and TLC (tender love care)

The proximity to the University Hospital made ambulance sirens a bit too close, but this wasn't a major issue.

Our shower was broken. We stayed for four days and they didn't come and fix the shower during our stay. We called, sent several messages and spoke to their repair man. Nothing was done. We also had problem with the door codes and were locked out two times.

very spacious and comfortable
the unit could do with a little bit of updating like the couch fabric was falling apart. TV couldn’t be used as there wasn’t a remote control. Kitchen didn’t have enough cooking equipment. They were quite stingy with coffee and we ran out by day 2. we had to walk up to the 2nd floor with our suitcases as the lift was stuck on the top floor due to the people there not shutting the gate on it. If it rains you will encounter homeless people sleeping on the corridor and blocking the entire pathway.

The beds were clean and comfortable, and the flat was nice and warm. Close to everything. Even though we never saw anyone, the communication was good.
We did have noisy neighbours for one evening, and for the last day, we had no water. We didn't feel either were the hosts fault though. Not much crockery for those self catering, but we didn't eat in.

Kitchen is more than ok but why are there so little tools? Booking for six persons in a good appt with equipped kitchen... and than having dinner with 5 forks after cooking in a mini pot without lid is a bummer (and not according to description. Should fix this, even more as all the rest of the appt is just great. Kr

Very easy entry facilities and good online communication with the staff. Excellent location nearby all the facilities, restaurants,parkings, ... Very nice spacious apartment.

Spacious
1. The lift is in the building is ancient and not very functional. If you are not careful, you can get trapped inside until it is reset. We had to wait around 5 minutes.
2. Blocked pipes. Dirty water accumulating in basin and shower. Impossible to use.
3. At nights the whole apartment shakes slightly because of the tram and metro trains passing nearby.
4. No hot water during large periods of the day.
