Excellent quality linen and bedding and immaculately clean throughout. Private off road car parking.
Very steep stairs, and only 1 bathroom/toilet on the ground floor

The location was lovely and quiet.
The house was lovely.
Lot's of spiders,
And the grass was to long, needed to have been cut before arrival. But was sorted and we were very great full.

We found the cottage very delightful and handy to travel to any of the main attractions in the area, could not have wished for a better holiday home, it felt a home from home.
just one or two points, we felt that the grass should have been cut as the grass was a bit long for us to see and pick up the doggy waist plus with the children running around we had to keep checking there shoes each time they came in. The house name could be a bit clearer as we drove past the cottage twice.

The house was nice, big garden for our dogs to enjoy. Easy to find and not far away from places.
Some dishes were dirty in the cupboards, the kettle coil was rusty, and some pots still had burnt food stuck to it.
On the day of departure, check out is between 8-10 am. You have to be out by 10am. Mind you, there were 2 cars in the driveway. Just before 8 a.m., someone arrived with bedding for the next guest and looked to about to enter the back garden where our dogs were outside, as we were packing up and cleaning but letting the dogs play outside. When our dogs noticed someone was there, they started going crazy barking being protective. Thankfully, the person never entered because the dogs would have gotten out as the front garden isn't secure enough. Whoever was there then just left the new bedding outside the house in a bag and left.
I don't really feel that it was safe to have someone come onto the property while guests are still there and try to enter as well. Especially since we have dogs that could have gotten out if the person had opened the gate. The fact that our cars were still there should have alerted the person that we were still at the property. We had till 10 am to leave, no one should be arriving at 8am. Also, leaving the clean bedding outside in a bag isn't hygienic, really.

Very clean, comfy beds, good bedding, fluffy towels.
There was no TV control, the shack outside was very dirty and hadn't been cleaned out from over winter and ready for guests to use. Be very careful with the stairs, my son hit his head very bad on the ceiling coming down. There were no bin liners . The property is very nice but we felt we needed a few more info bits of info ie finding the wi-fi password, the refuse arrangements. Unfortunately the attic bedroom pillow had blood on the pillow. Everything looked and smelled fresh but the blood was crusted on , on an underneath pillow.

location, very peaceful and great access to the area. great footpaths nearby. Loved the loft bedroom- a haven away from it all!
uneven access around the property. Lack of cotton linen in children’s room. Door handles where difficult to use for children and older people.
the kitchen was full of small flies and mosquitoes on the ceiling which we accepted as country life and removed. maybe leave some fly spray in the house for future guests.

Nice and quiet location with secure garden for the dog. Comfortable beds and cosy living room. The property is cared for, you can see that the owners have put some work into making it nice. The bathroom in particular was spacious and fresh. (No blind at the window but not overlooked at all)
The rooms all had heaters although we didn't need to use them as the cottage was warm.
There was everything you could need in the kitchen.
Overall the cottage was clean, the linen and towels looked new and smelled lovely and freshly laundered.
The stairs were much steeper than we expected although the owner did say that the stairs to the 3rd floor were steep we didnt expect the first set to be as steep too. There was only 1 mirror in the whole property, in the bathroom. I would have liked a large mirror in the bedroom. We had to move the mirror from the bathroom to the bedroom so that I could blow dry my hair then back to the bathroom so that my husband could shave. The bathroom is located downstairs in the property which we knew when we booked, it wasn't an issue to us but it was for my elderly dad because of how steep the stairs were when he needed to use the bathroom during the night.
To be fair the stairs would not be a problem to most people but needs to be considered by families with very young children or the elderly.

Would recommend the host putting the heating on for a few hours on day of arrival as the house was freezing . Also need to provide a mop particularly for the bathroom

The cottage was really cosy. Well equipped on the whole and the host kindly delivered a few missing items when we requested them. Very clean, warm, nice linen and towels and comfortable beds. Good location as everything we wanted to visit was within a 30 minute drive.
The third bedroom was on the third floor up a very steep wooden set of stairs. OK for us but not really accessible for anyone with mobility issues or young children. Bathroom also on the ground floor which may be a challenge for some.
