Warm & comfortable with fantastic views

Not great

Only kitchen has stuff like utensils and kettle etc otherwise air conditioners not working, showers were not working properly.

Disappointed

Had to clean out Aircon vents for AC to work. Mould in bathroom and on shower curtain. Washing machine leaked all over the bathroom floor every time it was used. Plates and bowls in cupboards were dirty.

Close walking distance to City, clean and comfortable.

Great location. Clean. Well appointed with furniture. Comfy chairs. Easy entry and exit instructions.

Dishwasher was full of dishes on arrival. They were clean but emptying dishwasher was not how I had envisaged starting my short break. Main bathroom toilet seat is for a kids toilet. It doesn’t fit, looks ridiculous and catches on legs. Toilet paper was low grade recycled, which is fine, but surprising considering no recycling bin for bottles, cans etc and no instructions on what to do with recycling. Large TV in bedroom but small TV in lounge. When there with a family, it would have been better the other way round. Visited in winter so more blankets would have been better as no heating in smaller bedroom where kids slept.

Never again- Definately wouldn’t recommend

The location was great and central to everything. Comfy pillows.

Beds were very uncomfortable, whole apartment stank of cigarette smoke. Half drank bottles of alcohol left in fridge from previous patrons, Apartment wasn’t ready at Check In time. Food scum all through fridge and freezer, Dish washer chocked full of dishes when we arrived. Cheap nasty toilet paper, towels very worn and thin. Tried contacting the person, they didn’t bother replying after I queried the state of apartment.

Great view from the balcony. Good size apartment. Good location. Comfortable beds.

There were no condiments in the kitchen, no tea or coffee sachets. Uncarpeted floors, bathroom and kitchen, appear to hv been swept but not washed. Shower mats came up dirty on the underside after a shower.

Disappointing

The location was good

The place was full of fake plastic plants which were all very dusty and useless to us. Generally, the window ledges were also dusty. The air conditioners were full of dust and did not work effectively. The second bedroom was not airconditioned at all and had no openable windows. Privacy to that room was dreadful as people on the walkway outside could see onto the bed, even with the curtains fully closed. This room was more like a storeroom than a bedroom and it was stuffy and awful to sleep in. We could not imagine a couple staying in that room for more than a single night. Generally the decor was old and tired and there was a sense to us that the owners had not put much care, love or effort into the presentation. Scrappy, miscellaneous bits and pieces filled the kitchen cupboards and there was no sense of order or generosity. Toilet paper, amenities and so on, were in very limited supply. No salt, cooking oil or anything useful for someone staying longer than a night, was apparent. Cooking equipment, utensils and so on were not usefully selected. The was enough old miscellaneous cutlery for a football team but there was no oven pan or even towels or cloths for washing dishes or cleaning the apartment on departure and during our stay. Towels were in short supply and only one kitchen tea towel had been provided for all of our cleaning and food prep. We would suggest if one were to consider staying here, to bring a lot of things like aluminium foil, cleaning cloths, coffees, teas, oil and so on. We noted, when booking, that previous guests had raised most of the above things, and the owner had acknowledged them, however there seemed to be no action taken to remedy them. This indicated to us that they did not really care about their guests. I suppose the overall advice to the owner would be to put a little care and heart into the presentation and if this was done, it would be a very enjoyable place to stay, because the location was fantastic.

Enjoyable

Good location. Good aspect. The apartment was comfortable and well appointed. The balcony was a bonus.

The pool was empty, and I was told by others at the hotel, that it had not been usable for a very long time! Since this booking was made primarily on the basis of a pool, I feel this information should have been provided. It was very hot, and we were disappointed that we were not informed as we would have booked elsewhere.

The bedding in two bedrooms are excellent. However, the sofa bed is very uncomfortable and very dusty around the property.

located in the centre of the city. Apartment was clean

sofa bed was diabolically uncomfortable. No aircon in the second room which was so small one of the beds prevented the door being fully opened before . General fit and finish very old. Parking space was tiny. Pool out of service during our stay but not disclosed at time of booking.

A Very Bad nightmare

On arrival Fridge was not working and leaking water, causing a bad smell.Toilet couldn’t be used until 3 days into the stay. Host solution was to use a fridge in a another apartment ( not move apartments but use someone else’s fridge)and the toilet was not her problem (plumbers fault) Had to move to a Hotel with a working fridge and toilet.Beware if you rent this property and have a issue the owner will blame you so have plan B and be willing to lose your money.

Location is excellent. Unit is bright and comfortable.

Unit could have been a bit cleaner. Basics are done, but everything looks like it has just been rinsed and not washed. No soap provided.

Great quite location let down by a lack of room maintenance

Location good. 2 bathrooms Quite

Getting keys from locked mail box…. There was no light to see the combination lock and the numbers were very difficult to read… this was a real pain No Netflix The apartment was a little “ tired” and needs some maintenance … eg door security latch was hanging by 1 screw…. The grouting around the ensuite spa bath needed attention it looked very unprofessional. There was no cloth to wipe up in the kitchen… we needed to buy a few There was no washing up liquid … we also bought some and left it for others

Great potential but very unclean.

Location. Comfortable beds.

Very unclean on arrival with cleaners having to return to clean again. No tissues, washing machine didn't work properly, all kitchen pans etc were way past used by date with burnt food scum. My husband cleaned a massive amount of dust from air conditioning filters so they would actually heat properly.

Nice place to stay

The apartment was clean, nicely furnished, and had excellent views of Black Mountain and the tower. It was close to the city and just a short walk from Civic. It was close to restaurants and shopping, and also close to most of the main attractions in the city. The parking was excellent. The value for money was excellent. The property manager was easy to contact and very approachable and accommodating when asked for a late departure. We had a lovely time.

As we come from north of Sydney, we would have liked an extra blanket and more than one towel each for a three-night stay. Because of health concerns, we need clean towels for each use, so we found this very difficult.

Bed arrangements were good..

Large screen tv should be in the lounge not bedroom. Locks on glass doors should be easier to open No dishwashing detergent. Tap in ensuite bathroom is loose. Water jug has crack in it Only one key given.

Not an Executive Apartment!

The owner was charming and very promptly fixed the heating system and the WiFi. The bed linen and the towels were clean and fresh.

The whole apartment was grubby and all surfaces including mirrors, tables and windows appeared to have been wiped with a greasy cloth. The mattress was soiled and the fridge was in need of a thorough clean as was the whole apartment.
