My room was big, full of light and clean.
There was no way of communicating with anyone. My door was very easy to open from the outside. The gym felt like a scary movie.
8.0
Very convenient location, easy to access, clean room and full facility of kitchen
Noisy during night time, e.g. siren of police car or garbage truck. (I understood why eye mask and earplug are prepared.)

Location was great and the room was very nice clean and comfortable there was no ac :/ and it was soooooo hot and I was informed until checking that that was the case also there was a mix up with our rooms but the fixed it with minimal issues over all would stay again
No ac !!
and the fans in the unit were not enough

Nice location
No a/c. It was so hot & stuffy in the room we could hit sleep. The windows open but with the rain & noisy traffic that wasn’t an option.
The door lock situation was somewhat frustrating and people were just letting anyone in. No on-site staff.

The code did not work and no AC

Good cleanliness. New kitchen. New bathroom. Good linens.
Code to the front door did not work. Took an hour to get new code before I could actually enter the building. No air conditioning.

Great location, comfortable clean.
Arrived and mint house had given room away saying they did not receive booking from bookings.com
They gave us two apartments instead, Split family into apartments. Needed to agree to sharing license and background check. Was on phone with family and baby for 2hrs outside before being given a room. Everything you do eg laundry, opening doors needs their app. The codes to the doors constantly did not work. Required calling customer service and waiting to get help.

The location of where it was located was nice but there were so many homeless people doing drugs outside our building. People that looked like they were drugged up would stand by our entrance door to our building and since they don’t have security, we would wait till they were gone to be to go into our room/building.
The fact that it has NO A/C. August is the worst time to go if you stay at this place. It gets hot even if you leave the windows open 24hrs. And the homeless that where trying to get into our building.

The mint house in seattle has a great location right outside of pike place with a decent view of the puget sound on the top floor.
the elevator is a little ominous/old and there didn’t seem to be any stairs to use instead. Also, the code i got originally didn’t work and I had to call to get a new code.

The location was fantastic, we were within waking distance to everything we needed and wanted to see. The room itself was incredibly clean and we enjoyed that the kitchen had cooking wear and dishes.
Not really your fault the street was just incredibly loud. And maybe screens on the windows, we opened them for air flow and got some bugs. Elevator is also scary haha.
4.0
Great location.
No A/C - apartment uncomfortably hot in summer weather. Fans provided not adequate. “Deluxe” apartment mediocre at best. Bathroom so small that door would not close comfortably. No acoustic protection in a busy area/thoroughfare. Extemely loud, particularly at night. Streetlamps shine directly into apartment - blinds do not block out. Elevator old/tiny.

The studio was super cute, tidy, and very homey.
The jackhammering outside the building so early and continuously.

Location
Lift needs a major upgrade, window needs to be triple glazed. They give you complimentary ear plugs because it’s that’s loud
4.0
The location was excellent but it came at a price.
There was no hair dryer, the toaster was broken and coffee machine overflowed onto the counter when used. In fairness, Mint House were responsive and provided/replaced the items the next day. What I liked least was the noise at night. The windows were thin so it was impossible to sleep through the sirens, screaming, loud music and street noise even with the ear plugs provided.

Great location made it easy to see the city - the tour bus literally stopped right outside the front door!!
The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The response from the Customer Care Team was quick and effective.
The use of a unique code to access the building, the lift and the apartment was a little troublesome at the start of our stay but was quickly rectified.
Our original apartment was very noisy - we appreciate we were in the heart of the city but, because our windows were above an alley it meant we could hear all the traffic, dumpster trucks and people below - giving new meaning to Sleepless in Seattle!!
As soon as I contacted the Customer Care Team they moved us to a much quieter apartment - which we were very appreciative of.

Location of apartment.
POOR response from Customer Services when we were locked out of our bathroom and toilet on the night that we arrived.
Unsuccessful attempts to call the Customer services on the phone number provided. Perhaps this phone number was only applicable to American guests? I had an Australian sim card in my phone with roaming facility and could not connect with the phone number provided by Mint House.
After finally getting a response from Customer Services (Mint House) via email I was directed to fix the door problem myself with a screwdriver! My husband borrowed a screwdriver from the generous cafe manager next door (who also offered her restroom to us All DAY). Despite my husband's best efforts, we could not open the bathroom door. I emailed Customer Services again to request "physical assistance" and informed them that we needed our heart medications and received NO REPLY.
I then phoned Booking.com in the U.K. and received assistance from Veenu who immediately phoned Mint House Customer Services to request physical assistance for us asap. Veenu informed me that Mint House would send someone to unlock our bathroom door.
SHAME on the Mint House Customer Service Representative who spoke with Booking.Com. He promised to action and resolve our predicament with bathroom door and then DID NOT inform me when the issue had FINALLY been resolved. If he had informed me of this then my husband and I could have returned immediately to access our medications in the bathroom.
Waiting to access our bathroom and meds for 17 hours, restricted and spoilt our limited time in Seattle.
There was no indication in the advertisement for this apartment of the NOISE and LIGHT issues. This soon became apparent with the earplugs and eye masks provided on the bedside table. The noise was EXCESSIVE Despite these being provided we had a disturbed sleep made worse with no toilet access overnight. My husband improvised in salad bowl however I could not.

Location was very good. Finding parking wasn't enjoyable. No A/C, but open windows made the room very comfortable. Unfortunately, it also made the room very noisy. A large homeless population. They were yelling all night.
I questioned our safety at night to and from the parking garage.

close to pike market and everything else

Location was excellent. Just a few blocks from public transport, across the street from major attractions like the market and dining. Would definitely stay there again.

great location, clean and nice finishes
street noise but ear plugs were provided

All the ammenities I needed, perfect space for a few nights in Downtown. Communication with team was fast and effective.
No real negatives, however, the traffic noise is rather loud (ear plugs were provided and used)
10.0
Proximity to downtown. Felt safe in the apartment complex.
The elevator took forever, and the stairway wouldn't allow access

Such a comfy bed!
A bit noisy at night, I was glad I was on the top floor!

I like the location.
My wife had found an adult size roach in the bath room while she was on the toilet. She screamed and I thought she was joking, until I saw her off the toilet and standing in the shower. She was right, and I couldn't believe this was actually happening on our anniversary. We missed out on a 200 dollar reservation at the space needle that we can not get back. I immediately closed the bath room door, cover the bottom of the door with a towel until I found a resolution. My wife did not want to stay in that room anymore let alone the hotel. I called customer service to get support and yes they were helpful but took longer than I expected. They upgraded our room, and got us out of there within an hour and an half. We survived the night, but my wife was beyond paranoid, and It made the rest of the night difficult. However, when we first arrive the room was nice, and it was pretty hot as well. There's no AC. I had asked for accommodations for our anniversary. They provided us with petals on the bed, flowers in a vase and red wine with chocolate. All which were about $45, which is exactly the refund option they offered to give us for the inconvenience. I'm not a fan of bugs let alone roaches, so when I see one I assume there's more. I would not stay here, if you care about having peace of mind. The toilets were not stabled the best, and the sponge in our upgraded room was already used. Which, typically would bother us. However, giving what had transpired I figured I'll leave a thorough review. This was our first time here, and our first experience. This room mimic a room we had on our honeymoon, and so many things just took that experience away. It was unfortunate, and that's the only reason I'm writing this review. My wife tried to edit the same photo to give you all a better view of how big it truly was.we have a video, but unable to upload it as well. I will leave another room on Yelp, and Google and try to upload the videos as well.
6.0
location. kitchen and bathroom
There is no curtain that darkens the room. The roller blinds do not come down all the way to the end of the window. There is no air conditioner. One of the windows does not lock, the handle is broken and the street noise penetrates the room. There should also be spoons. The bed frame is too big for the mattress and interferes with the comfort in the room. They charged us a $200 deposit. This is an excessive and unreasonable amount. It's been a week and the money still hasn't returned to our account. I did not receive a document documenting the refund. The room price is high and unjustified.

Terrific location across the road from the terrific Pike Place Market & 2 blocks from the subway. Very comfortable apartment in a secure building. Great communication with the host.
Need to be aware sadly, that the central location comes with quite a few homeless residents that wander the city area. We had no trouble but it kept us on our guard.

Great location. Well furnished and equipped unit
Older building so no A/C.

location. management was responsive to our request & seemed genuine about fixing issues. especially offering 50% refund for problem’s overall, & internet issues the entire stay.
difficulty accessing property. no AC. dirty hand towel. bathroom faucet loose & not installed properly. furniture very low to the ground.

The Mint House Seattle location really can’t be beat. It was within walking distance to all tourist attractions and great places to eat! Plenty of activities at your doorstep. Lots of people moving about, so I felt safe at all times. Bed was comfortable and kitchen well equipped for simple cooking, if needed.
The pictures of the apartment look better than the actual place. Slightly run down, but adequate if that’s what you’re looking for. I’m almost positive that I had read that there was A/C, there isn’t, but they did provide fans when asked. The apartment felt swept clean, but not really deep clean. I tried their Stock Your Stay feature, to order some light groceries for the fridge when we arrived. It wasn’t there when we checked in. Made a call and order didn’t arrived until the next evening…not helpful.

Location was great
Very old building, no air conditioning, privacy issues, small bathroom
4.0
We enjoyed the convenience of the location.
We felt the price was a little much for what we got. If we had stayed at a hotel, we could have had a.c. and probably breakfast included with our stay. The building seems like it is a little run down with spot fixes here and there.

it was wonderful! All of it
no AC!
