Great place and perfect location! Really enjoyed the clever decor. Only minor issue was figuring out (which we're never did) exactly how the lights and light switches worked!? Sometimes our bed lamps would turn on and other times not.

Room was smaller than I expected but not bad. Tv didnt work and when I called the front desk they said they would fix it the next day. We werent there to watch tv, but it was annoying.

Fan-ducking-tastic! I loved the location but most certainly the hospitality. We were able to check in early and chill but the humor and comfort is what made this place feel like home. Thank you Pali, you’re superior! Restaurant is great, shower is hot, beds are ducking comfy.

Fantastic “Wes Anderson esque” Hotel right in the Heart of Downtown Across from the Public Market. The staff is beyond helpful and accommodating, the location is unbeatable, and the property itself is esthetically wonderful!’n

Great location, great price. Hotel is right in front of Pike's Market. An H-Mart is 2 minutes away for groceries. Staff were friendly and accomodating.
Only downside was the thermostat as it was not user-friendly and difficult to navigate.

Place is clean and cute…but you better take less than a 5 min shower because the water kept turning off mid shower. Would take 10 min for water to turn back on. Also it was incredibly loud having a dumpster down below our window in the alley.

This hotel is extremely convenient to Seattle's major tourist attractions. It is a great boutique hotel with high-quality amenities. However, the rooms lack storage for clothing. A shelf over the clothes rod and/or a cube of drawers under the massive desk would help. Great place!

Beautiful and great location

The location was excellent for your purposes, which was to visit Pike Place Market and take a ferry boat ride.

It’s an almost fine hotel.
Here’s what sucks: the door is locked from early in the evening to early AM, and they seem to feel this means they don’t have to have front desk service after, say, 7pm.
The WiFi is awful. This was a huge issue for me during my stay as I was working.
The restaurant is open really strange hours.
They had only 2 little pods of coffee in the room…and one was decaf. Multiple days I I just had to do without until the coffee shop across the street opened 2 hours after I got up:
Only one elevator and it’s slow as hell.
Housekeeping did a very weird and kind of crao job.
It was serviceable I guess.

We spent two nights in Seattle at the Palihotel. The hotel was overall very beautiful and the view was incredible. A short walk to pikes place market and tons of great food around the hotel. The only not exceptional aspect was the noise, but that’s to be expected in a big busy city. Palihotel provided ear plugs to help with the noise, which was greatly appreciated.

Overall the stay was great except you could hear street noise at night which woke us up several times. Staff were very friendly and informative when we asked questions. I would stay there again but request a room on the non-street side

The hotel is darling, and service is great. If you are wanting to be in the heart of things, you can’t beat location. Fully stocked mini bar is always a win. Pillows were comfortable. Bar has daily specials and biscuits are delicious.
However, the sound proofing is basically non existent. Every conversation on the street, every car horn- sounds like the window is open. The sounds of the people in other rooms carry. I could literally feel the vibration of someone else’s phone going off all night long on the other side of the wall. I got zero sleep. So if you are a light sleeper would not recommend. If you don’t plan on sleeping anyway, or are one of those unicorns that can fall asleep anywhere- take advantage of this place.

Our stay was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was cute and simple and especially the views from the window. Loved the little nespresso coffee machine! We will definitely come back and appreciate our first time in Seattle being at this hotel.

It was a beautiful room, arrived early and had to wait a little bit for our room as it was being cleaned. Asked staff for coffee espresso machine inside our room 3-4 times hour after hour and would be told closet was locked, then someone would be up to drop it off, then called front desk and was told someone would be up again. We also requested for thermostat to be adjusted as it was locked and had to sleep with window open. Staff never stopped by, Needless to say loud nights, screaming, partying, and lots of sirens throughout the night. We finally left at 11 and front desk clerk was still careless of our requests. Beautiful hotel with careless staff, you will not get what you need or request. Overall beautiful hotel.

I had an amazing time and the rooms were beautiful but I have a severe allergy and when I ordered food I told them I had an allergy and nobody listened and gave me food with a bunch of dairy. A little sad but besides that the location was wonderful. The food smelled amazing and the rooms were good too so just one little hiccup it was all good.

We loved it here! Close to many things! The only thing we didnt like was the shower head. No pressure. Other than that all was perfect!

Very charming and comfortable. I would recommend to family and friends

Great location a stones throw from Pike Place Market and the wonderful Seattle waterfront. Very comfortable rooms however don't expect to get much sleep because you hear everything - and I mean EVERYTHING - going on outside, from general traffic to the shouting of the numerous homeless people in the area. That said, they do provide earplugs but I can't really use them. The location, however, cannot be beat. Hotel spotlessly clean and staff nice and friendly too. Would stay again with the knowledge I won't get much rest but, then again, who comes to Seattle to rest!

I stayed in Palihotel for a couple nights and overall I thought it was okay. The main problems with the hotel were the noise. The windows are not soundproof, so I could hear all the street noise in my room. On top of that, I woke up several times by the noise made by the room upstairs (someone walking, closing the doors, etc.).
And finally, there was no bin for recycling. The maintenance said I should just drop plastic bottles in trash :/

This hotel is SO LOUD. Cleaning staff start early and there is lots of slamming of doors. Hallways are dirty and don’t smell great. Beds are uncomfortable. The front desk & restaurant staff were the shining stars in this bleak stay. They deserve a raise.

Usually never write bad reviews but this was a pretty poor experience. The location was great but we had several problems with this hotel. The air conditioning was locked off which is fine if they want to be eco-friendly but you couldn’t even turn the fan on and it was very hot for sleeping. No moving air at all and there were no screens on the windows to keep them open either. The front desk was unhelpful with this and said they had no maintenance people working. The fridge in our room was broken as well and we had wanted to keep some things from the store on hand. The WiFi was extremely poor as well and even just trying to watch something on tv, there was only basic cable available and the signal was bad so the channels were in and out the entire time. Lastly, even though I paid in full on hotels.com when I booked the hotel, I was charged again for the full night by the hotel after checking out. Even though I was reimbursed, if I hadn’t checked they would have scammed me. All and all, a very poor experience and I would not go back to or recommend this hotel.

I stayed for just one night after staying up in the Mt Vernon area for a few days and The Palihotel is Fanatastic. Really Great location and within one steep block to Pikes Place Market. I love the style and coziness of it all. Avery was Exceptional! Superb knowledge of the area and accommodating in every way.
Thank You Avery and The Palihotel.

Great location and walking distance from the Pike, lumen field and soo many great restaurants. Bed was comfortable and service was excellent.

Excellent check-in/out staff and cleaning staff. Right in the heart of downtown - which was both a pro and con. Made it extra noisy (poor windows also) and many homeless. Great for sights.

Excellent location for a brief stay, which is what we had planned. Street noise was significant while trying to sleep in the room was tiny, but the service was excellent and ambience good overall.

This was my second stay at the Palihotel. This boutique hotel has smaller rooms, but they are comfortable and have a mini fridge with a little space to put your own bottes of water. The rooms (especially the interior rooms) tend to be dark because of the dark color of the walls.
Exterior rooms have more light - but you get the outside noise. The library is a very comfortable space to relax/ gather with friends. Restaurant has a nice menu and friendly service. Highly recommend and is where I will stay when in Seattle.

My sister and i stayed in the Bunk Bed room, and it was very nostalgic! The room was beautiful and the beds were comfy. I love the central location of the hotel too. So close to Pike, the waterfront, and Westlake. We would love to stay here again.

The hotel was very charming, clean and well-appointed. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful with my questions. However, be aware that it is located at the junction of 2 very busy streets, Pine and First, which makes it quite noisy, even into the very late evening on a weeknight. I used earplugs but was still awakened with some car "antics". The location was, however, perfect for being in the heart of downtown close to restaurants, shopping, etc.

Excessive road noise. Hot room. Smell. Poor tv connection, poor internet. Expensive parking

Funky, fun decor. Bed a little softer than my preference. Great food at the restaurant. Close to the train to the airport. Staff were considerate and thoughtful. Some city noise but to be expected in this area. Overall pleased and would return.

Great hotel. Excellent location. The only thing I would like to have been better was the Wi-Fi (very bad but it was free). Absolutely Recommend.

Randomly charged my card multiple times without explanation or contact. The lobby looks great. Rooms are less cleanly with a price to match superior hotels in the area.

The Front desk staff and housekeeping was great. However there was a male waiter in the hotel restaurant that was extremely rude and seemed inconvenienced by customers. A member from our party, went down in the morning to get a cup of coffee. The red was open to customers. When asking if he could get a cup of coffee, the reply from the waiter said You are going to have to wait, I’m making the chefs coffee. This same waiter was just as rude when we ate in the restaurant. Didn’t check on us, others brought the food to our table. We had to ask for the check because he never came back. The room we were staying in was extremely loud from the traffic and people on the main road. The noise never stopped until 5am.We weren’t really bothered by it. But guests should know ahead of time. Everything got “good” for the ratings because of the waiter. For as old as this hotel is I thought it was pretty nice. Our room could’ve used some deep cleaning on the floor tiles and maintenance to the hangers on the wall in the bathroom.
