About this campground/ rv resort rental
Our two delightful yurts are perfect for a romantic, nature get-away for 2, or a cosy family yurt holiday - sleeping up to 4 people. They have a spacious 18ft diameter and come equipped with a comfy double bed, pull-out sofa bed, outside decking with patio seating and a kitchenette. There is a fire bowl with a grill available for al fresco cooking and sitting out and being warm under the stars at night.
The spectacular 5ft crown – the transparent centre of the roof – is perfect for stargazing on clear nights or cloud watching on blue sky days. The efficient Clearview wood stove which will ‘keep in’ all night, combined with the felt insulation, ensures that the space retains its warmth on cool nights. At the same time, the canvas ‘breathes’ so it’s never stuffy; a yurt is a living, breathing home.
** IMPORTANT **
If you have a preference to which yurt you wish to stay in, please tell us in the 'special requests' section of the booking form, and we will try our best to allocate you, subject to availability.
Cai Yurt has a beautiful red and yellow interior with a mural of a sun on the floor and hand-painted furniture. The main sleeping area has a raised bed with a quirky access ladder, and a comfy sofa bed to pull out if you would rather sleep closer to the ground. There is a power supply and a small electric cooker. A few steps into the orchard is a private shower, composting eco-toilet and an outside tap by the deck.
Ash Yurt is surrounded by trees and tucked away on the edge of the cider orchard and is perfect for those wanting a more secluded experience. It is sited on a raised deck at the top of a slope which allows you a wonderful feeling of spaciousness with fantastic views towards the Marcle Ridge and May Hill.
There is a double bed and comfy sofa bed. Cooking is on a two-burner camp stove. Running water is available from a tap outside near the deck. A few steps away is a private composting eco-toilet and shower unit.

My young children lived staying in the yurt, some flexible bed options and with the fire on very toasty. It was very quiet and peaceful in the orchard and well equipped with pans, wood, kettle etc. Outside shower was warm and quite refreshing in the rain. It was a bit hard to keep it clean during the rainy weather without a porch but there was cleaning bits for us to use.

Yurt was lovely, well equipped and clean. The view when you openes the door in the morning was beautiful. We lived our korning walks through the orchards to see the pigs.
We loved the pause on our busy family life in this beautiful place. Hoping to stay again.

This was our third stay in Cai Yurt and it was wonderful! It’s a highlight of our year to relax amongst the trees whilst the children roam free. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed the peacefulness, being surrounded by the fruit trees and the quirky yurt accommodation. Norman and Anne were excellent hosts and we will recommend to others.

Had a lovely 2 night break. The Yurt was lovely, very clean, tidy and good facilities - the Apple juice and Chutney were lovely!!
Ann was particularly friendly and accommodating.
Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

Myself, my husband and our 1 year old stayed in Ash yurt and it was such a perfect weekend. The yurt has everything you’ll need and the kitchen is really well equipped. The yurt is also really spacious! The outdoor shower was hot too. We weren’t too hot or too cold at night and it was so nice and peaceful. The orchard is lovely to stroll around and go and meet the pigs! Norman and Ann are such kind and welcoming hosts. I’d definitely recommend it and we already can’t wait to go back

The Ash Yurt was an ideal place to spend a weekend unwinding in nature, and even inside the yurt it feels like you're still part of the countryside, which is a sensation you don't get in a 'proper' house.
The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and made sure I had everything I needed and knew where I was going before leaving me to my own devices.
I really loved my stay there, and would definitely book to stay there again if I'm in the area in the future

We had a wonderful two night stay in Cai Yurt whilst visiting for a family get together, situated in amongst the orchards it is in a beautiful location.

We spent two nights here with friends (stayed in the other yurt). The setting is idyllic and even if it rains (as it did non-stop for one of the days) you're close to the River Wye and can come home to a wonderful log burner (only in Ash but big enough to hold 8 adults for dinner and a much appreciated evening fire!). There was the odd drip inside - we are talking persistent rain that didn't really give up! - but it sort of made it exciting! Much freedom for kids to run free! Lovely jam too!

Amazing
Such a lovely break in a beautiful environment. Our hosts were helpful when needed but we were left to our own devices in the Orchard.
