They cabin was extremely clean and well maintained. It was in a remote area, but not too far from a town where we could get what we needed. I do wish we could've picked up and moved the cabin a little bit closer to Acadia though. We have no complaints about the property and had good communication from the manager.

This property was clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed for our stay and felt that we got out of the busyness of being in Bar Harbor. We loved getting up and looking at the water and the peaceful quiet setting that we had. We enjoyed checking out both of the local beaches at Marlboro and Lamoine - easy to get to and not crowed. They aren't fancy at all, but we enjoyed crabbing off the docks there.
We loved having all of the cooking stuff that you would want to have, and any supplies that you might have wanted. Our adult family of 4 had a wonderful time making memories together!
Drive to Bar Harbor is 25 minutes but by staying here, you can easily also get to Schoodic Peninsula also in about 25 minutes. Decent places to eat in Ellsworth and good area to get groceries. We found things very convenient.
Lastly, check in process was flawless, we were well informed along the way and found any communication easy when booking.

We have been staying at vrbo rentals for more than 20 years and this was one of the nicest properties, being very clean and nicely organized. The visit was smooth, enjoyable and very relaxing. The location was stunning with nice seclusion and beautiful sunrises.
The house had all the amenities you could hope for and the owner was very responsive to all our questions. She offered helpful suggestions that made their home and surroundings enjoyable. Ellsworth had a large grocery store for all our needs.
Our goal was to hike some of the Acadia Park trails along with serious photography. This rental location was removed from the Bar Harbor congestion but was within 20-30 minutes of some great sight-seeing, pleasant drives and interesting small towns. We especially enjoyed exploring the Schoodic Peninsula.

We called this our Maine house for the week that we were here and it truly felt like home. It was beautiful and comfortable and the view was incredible. We enjoyed time at the house relaxing, playing games outside and inside and skipping rocks at low tide. We used it as a home base for hiking and biking in Acadia and exploring Ellsworth and Bar Harbor. We were very happy with it and very sad to leave.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful waterfront home. The kids skipped rocks and climbed them! We rented kayaks and paddled around during the week. The access to water is limited to lowtide and a rock scramble down to the water. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of supplies to get us started. Also, there were a lot of chairs to place in the yard for watching seals and wildfowl. An eagle flew in and perched close by. If the jacuzzi is used, plan on no hot water for 12 hours. It was a fun, relaxing time and a very pleasant Maine vacation.

Although it was a bit chilly and rainy, our family thoroughly enjoyed our trip. We had 2 younger children and 4 adults. The cottage was very clean and neat. Great amenities and sleeping accommodations. The location on the cove was perfect and beautiful. It was about 20 minutes from Acadia National Park and just a bit longer to downtown Bar Harbor.

Loved everything about our experience with this rental home. Extremely nice place and grounds.
Very peaceful unless you don’t like being serenaded the loons, owls, eagles, and a host of other bird life.
DEFINITELY on our list for a return trip.

The pictures don't really do this home justice. Although accurate, this home was even more beautiful in person. It was so roomy. There were only 4 of us, but it would have been comfortable for 6 or even 8. The kitchen was well equipped with anything you could think of. The view was beyond what we had imagined! Although it was away from the crowds, it was still convenient to Ellsworth and most of the big box stores that you might need. It was only about 20-25 minutes from Bar Harbor shops and excursions. I think all four of us would highly recommend this fabulous home to anyone needing a place to call home for a trip to the area.

This was the perfect spot to recharge and relax. Gently lapping water, surrounded by woods, and no sounds of traffic. And a deck to enjoy some of the last warm days of the year. We couldn't have asked for a better spot.

We loved this property!
The view was gorgeous, the kitchen was well-stocked--probably the finest VRBO kitchen I've ever experienced. Others had left spices and coffee behind and we obliged by leaving a few things as well to help other visitors get off on the right foot.
The living room has a nice sofa and 2 comfortable chairs for lounging and we used 4 resin adirondack chairs down by the fire pit a couple of nights. The master suite up in the loft has a comfortable king size bed and a great bathroom though the shower head could be replaced (and is low). The main floor has a Queen bed in the room along with a nice bath in the main hall that is shared with the bunkbed room. It made it nice for the other couple we were traveling with to have that as their space and our space was upstairs. There is also a small sitting area with a full couch in the loft area.
Acadia is about 25 minutes away and we spent quite bit of time there....stopping to buy live lobsters on the way back so we could cook them up for dinner-- a great lobster pot and all the lobster utensils were wonderful to use! We even met the family down the road with their road side stand of live lobsters...we found out quickly that people are very nice in this area.
An extra blanket or 2 would have been nice to take outdoors in the cool mornings since we were here in October, just before a lot of places shut down for the season.
The privacy this home provided was wonderful. Highly recommend

This was the perfect retreat, location was far enough away but close enough for all the activities you want to do! I loved coming "home" to the beautiful backyard, listening to the water and the waves, fires in the evenings, and stargazing all night long! The home had amazing amenities, clean and very comfortable. This truly was the perfect getaway and I would highly recommend this home
