Emerald Isle condo. One of the best views on the entire island because it's on the 5th floor. Two bedroom with truly spectacular view of Beach and Ocean. Gated property. Close to grocery stores, restaurants, water park, mini-golf, go-carts. Full kitchen with everything you'll need (hopefully). Washer and dryer in unit. Views from master bedroom, kitchen, main living area, deck, and dining area. Pool. Tennis courts/ pickle ball courts, basketball hoop. Two beach access walks on property. Elevators. We very much enjoyed this well-kept, gated community, fifth floor condo suite with a view. As four adults who travel together frequently, we enjoyed our stay on this part of the Carolina coast. We routinely stay on the Outer Banks either in Rodanthe or Avon, but decided to see what the other part of the Carolina coast looked like. We were not disappointed with the beach, the area, or the facility. Thank you.

This property has everything you need to have a fun family vacation. Unit was spotless, had everything we needed and the view was breathtaking. Hearing the waves crash along the shore while you relax relaxes you. Super Market, restaurants and shopping are only a quick drive away and your steps from the beach. Emerald Isle had some of the friendliest people I've ever encountered. The only thing i would recommend is the complex to clean the side walls of the pool better and repaint the liner. Other than that, we went from beach to pool daily, in to town or relaxed at the complex. Highly recommend to any family. Thanks for a great week Dave

We loved this property. It had everything we needed and was super close to the pool and beach. Very clean. Host was easy to communicate with and our stay was hassle free. We would definitely stay here again!

Great property. Great community. Ocean views were gorgeous! Close to grocery stores, restaurants, shopping! 2 beach accesses. Gated community. David, our host, was wonderful to deal with. Definitely will be back next year.

Condo was located in a great spot in which the beach was not crowded. Wonderful views of the ocean from living room, kitchen and master bedroom. Great balcony with comfortable chairs and tables for enjoying the ocean view. Host provided utility cart for unloading and loading suitcases, etc. Walking distance grocery store and shopping. Walking distance to some restaurants. Nice bike/walking trail. We would stay in the same unit again. Thank you.

This place exceeded all expectations! From the professional and timely communications with the host, to the breathtaking views, this was exactly what I hoped to gift to my wife for a weekend away. I highly recommend this experience for anyone seeking a smooth and rest filled time away. I will reserve a future stay at this location again!

We arrived on Saturday - Thursday. Our stay was wonderful. Our host Dave, made everything so easy, he sent step by step directions how to get in. The condo was immaculate. The view was perfect, to look out and see the blue sky and ocean. We miss it already!! We would most definitely check availability for this property again. Easy access to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Thank you Dave!

Our second time staying at this unit and property. Great communication with owner the entire time. The pools were closed for the season which we knew going in. The beach and ocean are clean and beautiful here. This is an older property, but very comfortable and not at all crowded this time of year. It met our needs perfectly.

I was 100 % pleased with this condo for myself and my adult daughter. It is everything and more that it advertised. Besides the amazing view, the kitchen has so many amenities provided, which made it easy to eat in many of our meals. 2 bedroom 2 bath was amazing to have your own space. The owner of this condo was very helpful and always accessible when needed.We will rent this condo again

Really enjoyed our stay at Sound of the Sea 514W. What a wonderful view!!! Our 87 year old mother loved sitting on the balcony soaking up the sun and enjoying the ocean view!

Property was great. Wished just a ramp to beach instead of steps. But thats just me being lazy, lol. Appreciated washer & dryer, tv & air-conditioning. Loved balcony with ocean view. This makes 2nd year staying in same unit.

We had a wonderful stay here at the Sounds of the Sea. The views were amazing, the condo was comfortable and full of extras that we don't normally see. We weathered a tropical storm in comfort and had everything we needed to be safe. We will definitely be returning!

We had a perfect week in Emerald Isle thanks in large part to our stay here. Perfect location and views, plus so many extras and accommodations that made settling in that much easier. The set-up is perfect for families…our 4 and 6 year old loved having their own space, beds, and bathroom. We can’t wait to come back!

This is a wonderful place to stay in Emerald Isle. I especially appreciated how the condo had most of the essentials, like paper towels, some spices, coffee, pots, pans, etc. It was nice to have all of this on hand. David was great and responded quickly to any question I had. My family would definitely stay here again!

Our family of 4 was very pleased with the condo! The place was super clean and we appreciated the extras like paper towels, dishwasher and dish soap, and even some coffee in the pantry for that first morning! Bedding, towels and bathroom areas were pristine! Only negative we could imagine was the mattress in the master bedroom. We didn't find it too comfy. Our sons in the other bedroom said theirs were very comfortable. Loved the area and the neighborhood feel instead of a bunch of commercialized stuff. And the views of the beach and ocean were so nice! Spent a lot of time walking on the beach. Check in was simple and no hassles. :D Thanks Dave for the great place to stay!

I finished up a work conference in the area so we booked this condo for the weekend. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with and allowed an early check in since we were already local. The condo was as pictured and had everything we needed for the weekend. While we knew neighbors were present (sat outside for the sunset), we never heard a peep and it was extremely quiet. If you bring bikes you can bike to a number of restaurants and even a bottle shop up the street. Perfect for a family of four and we would definitely stay their again!

Great property and easy to contact the owner. Unfortunate circumstance with the water heater not working the first day, and the entire building shutting down power on our last day, but this was seemingly beyond the owners control. He was great at communicating and apologetic for the issues out of his control. Otherwise, it was the vacation our family desired!

First of all, we would give Dave, the owner, 5+++ stars if we could. He communicated promptly with us before we arrived and the check in was smooth. The condominium was clean, up-to-date, and provided everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. There is a luggage carrier making it a snap to bring up heavy bags! Our view was expansive and we ate on the deck several times. Nice broad view of the shoreline through the three, large windows in the Master Bedroom. Large doors/windows floor-to-ceiling in the living room. Close to grocery stores, restaurants, and shops! Safe, gated community with easy access to the beach. Watch the sunrise over the ocean every morning while drinking your coffee! We definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing time at the beach.

We had a great stay at this property. The online pictures accurate portray the condo. The floor to ceiling windows/patio door in the main room is great. The master bedroom has great windows, too, with a direct ocean view. There is a grocery store, movie theater, coffee shop, and excellent restaurants all within a 2-3 minute drive or walkable. The property owner communication was great providing all the info we needed in advance. We would definitely stay here again.

Quiet, clean, comfortable with awesome views. Property owner was very easy to contact & answered quickly. I have 2 downsides, we were only there for 4 days/3 nights (so it wasn't long enough) and would have liked to have a ramp access from the condo complex to the beach instead of or in addition to stairs. Would absolutely recommend this particular unit.

This condo was everything we expected and more. It was relaxing and the view was beautiful and we enjoyed both sunrises and sunsets from either side of our unit. It was quiet and the host was extremely communicative. The condo had everything we needed.
