The hosts are two of the most welcoming and considerate people we have ever stayed with. We loved the attention to detail and the sauna, ‘pamper packages’ and quality of the food were amazing. We never given a ‘10’ review before, but this deserves an ‘11’!

The location is perfect, with lovely views of the valley and their gorgeous garden. The caravan is both adorable and exquisitely decorated, it’s clear how much love and care has gone into doing it up for hosting!
The hosts were very friendly (including the animals) and helpful. They were respectful of space (the humans, not the animals, but the animals do listen if you ask them properly), and Richard & Sharon were happy to share a meal when invited. All meals were delicious and beautifully presented.
I would recommend this for someone my height (1,76m) or shorter, because of the height of the vintage caravan and the length of the (very comfy & warm) bed inside it, and obviously that isn’t within the hosts’ control, but is worth mentioning for taller future guests to aware of ito comfort level. There is a school next door, but it’s as quiet as the rest of the village except at the beginning and end of the school days and during break times.
I found it easy to work there (phone hotspot, never checked if there’s wifi), although the comfy bed is too inviting for a nap if you’re tired…
I will definitely be back! Thank you Greenacres team for a memorable stay :) Saskia x

Sharon & Richard were the most friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome, from the moment we booked. They kindly arranged a suprise cream tea for my husband and even offered to take us to the concert we travelled down for. Nothing was too much trouble at all. The breakfast was amazing, absolutely nothing to conplain about. We are planning to go back!

It’s a beautifully innovative and quirky place to stay. Chloe the vintage caravan is simply beautiful & the gardens are stunning! Sharon and Rich are the best hosts ever. This will be my go to place for peace, quiet and tranquility! A real diamond of a place to stay - almost too good to share!

Lovely peaceful location, Sharon and Richard were lovely, very welcoming and helpful. Queen bed was very comfortable. Very large shower room. Good cooked breakfast in the morning. We were lucky weather was warm so could sit out in the beautiful garden, if weather not good, there is a nice pub up the road where you can get food.

The hosts Sharon and Richard were amazing, the communication before the visit was excellent and helped us plan our special weekend. Nothing was too much trouble and their attention to detail with the accommodation garden, breakfasts and knowledge of the local area was superb.

We stayed for one night and it was an exceptional experience. You will stay in a cute caravan in the garden of your hosts. If the sky is clear you can even watch the stars from the bed. In the morning we had a delicious breakfast on the terrace of the hosts, overlooking the surrounding landscape. The hosts are perfectly welcoming and friendly.

Fantastic glamping experience with quality facilities, amazing views and great breakfast! Hosts very welcoming, to the point of a free ice cream in the baking June sun!
Attention to detail in the caravan impeccable, faultlessly clean. Slightly cramped in the caravan for 2 but we were carrying big luggage for a longer trip away

In theory, this is a caravan at the bottom of someone's garden. In reality, it is a beautiful (if tiny) caravan at the bottom of a stunning garden, and the someones are attentive and charming hosts! The quality of the caravan, bed, breakfast, setting is wonderful. So relaxing. The view over Dartmoor countryside from the breakfast terrace is incredible. The feeling was that Sharon and Richard could not do enough for me, down to checking in with the local pub ahead of my arrival to check what vegan meals they had available.
Everything was perfect. There are dogs and cats at the property which was a joy for me and the hosts are clear that they will keep the animals securely in their house if that is your preference.
