The Snug was an ideal size for 2. Good off road parking which was ideal. The property is within easy walking distance of the town centre so walked into town most days. The Snug has a good size garden that is secluded and safe and meant that we could spend the evenings outside.
Nothing

Fire risk assessment not on display
Lack of smoke detectors, C02 monitor, fire blanket in kitchen, fire extinguishers.
No Electrical testing EICR
Poor lighting in kitchen area- safety issue
No list of emergency numbers
You can only have ventilation if you leave one of the doors open
Security only one door has a lock on it
Water leaking from the door nearest the wall
No towel rail in the bathroom
Shower needs another attachment, don't really want wet hair every time I shower
Sofa extremely uncomfortable
Poor TV reception
Had to reverse out of car park onto main road, too many cars in the parking area, extremely dangerous has the house road is on a bend.
The Snug should not be recommended for a holiday let.

Loved how cozy this place is. Clean, tidy and well equipped. Dud run out of toilet roll! But no drama with Morrisons nearby.
Great shower, needs a towel rail however.
Great rate for 3 nights
Can hear everyone in the neighbouring chalets and so forth.
Garden was perfect for the dog, however please fence off behind the properly as there is a stream behind there and I’m sure another dog would love to jump in and it doesn’t look that safe.

Clean, tidy & comfy. Loved the shower !
Not easy to make a breakfast for two with a small frying pan.

The property was lovely and comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. Just a short walk to the town centre and the beach. Loved the little garden space and the bed was comfy.
It’s not in any way soundproof. There weren’t any issues but the traffic was quite loud being next to a mini roundabout. Toilet was fine but maybe don’t book this if you haven’t got to ‘bodily functions in front of each other’ point of your relationship.

Excellent location and clean and mostly well equipped. Comfortable bed and nice garden. Very good welcome pack.
Inadequate lighting - no light in kitchen area and only 2 small lamps. Not enough pans - no large frying pan and just a small milk pan. TV had very few channels and no BBC ones.

The Snug was exactly what I needed it for my first solo trip, the property was clean and meet all my needs plus was only a short walk to the beach but at the same time away from the town centre. If I ever visit Cromer again I'll most certain I would like to stay in here. Also very grateful for the snacks that was left as a welcome.
Not necessary an issue for me but a good suggestion will be to put a kind of lock to keep the toilet door shut

Lovely little secluded cabin good facilities with a great shower
only one pillow each on the bed would of been great to have more if you find sleeping on one pillow uncovered take another with you

First impression was that lodge offers see view, but it doesn’t.
Bathroom door.

The Snug was fresh, clean, cosy and very cleverly appointed!
We experienced a fair bit of noise into the early hours from the neighbouring property.
3.0
very clean, modern property.
poor lighting as one lamp did not work, no door mat and muddy garden tried so hard not to trample it in. sofa very low and uncomfortable. no rail for wet towels, no where in bathroom to put toiletries, and toilet door did not stay shut. large mirror nailed on back of cabin, we couldn’t reach it as in next cabins garden but banged on the wall in the wind all night. holiday home in front of cabin looks in and very noisy occupants on sat/sun. so tired we came home one day early.

The bathroom door didnt stay shut and the settee was quite small

very and comfortable and very well kitted out. a lot of thought had gone into making sure visitors had everything they need. even tea coffee and milk provided.
it was a cabin quite close to a busy road so there was some road noise. also I had a slight concern about security especially as a solo traveller

Lovely, cosy holiday home
had to make some repairs

I have just returned home from the Snug and would thoroughly recommend it.
I stayed over the Christmas period to visit family and friends' and was able to take my dog, as the Snug is dog friendly, with its own garden area.
I'm sure it would be a lovely place to stay in the summer. Its ground flloor and walkable to everything on the flat.

Value for money clean &;well equipped
Most people complain about the lack of privacy, no door, on toilet and shower, why don't they do something about it
2.5
Comfortable bed
Good shower
Open plan living included toilet & shower- no door or even a curtain for a modicum of privacy
Cheap mini oven/hob- cannot use both at same time (ie 1 hob, and oven as stated in instructions)
Poor lighting to read by
Lack of hooks for towels, coats, tea towels - 2 hidden by curtain not much use
Poor soundproofing- glad there was no one in the party house( the Snug is in the garden of main house and also the Lodge, separated by a fence) and also on a busy road by mini roundabout

The accomodation was furnished to a good standard. It felt like being at home!
Lack of privacy in the shower room.

Nicely appointed furniture and utensils, everything you need even a bottle of processco, the bed was very comfortable, lovely linen and towels. Only 10 minutes walk from the beach.
Wasn't able to park at the residence as theres too many other cars parked there, no hot water in the morning (maybe when the other chalet was using hot water) no door on the toilet (passing double decker buses could see in), the main house was too close for us, see my photo,(especially as it was hired for a weekend party) it looked straight into the Chalet so we had to keep the curtains shut and the garden is not fenced at the back and finally we couldn't get terrestrial TV but there is many other channels we just weren't informed of that until we asked them to fix it after 2 days (no welcome pack)

Welcome pack was a bonus. Clean and tidy. Well appointed. plan to stay there again.
Noise insulation could have been better, TV signal was intermittent.

Great location and lovely accommodation. There were small things missing that would have made our stay a lot better and would make the accommodation a higher rating from us. The minor things were no towel rails or storage within the shower which meant we struggled where to put wet towels etc. It would benefit from a wall mirror near an electric socket so you could do your hair/makeup. A clothes maiden for outside again for drying wet suits etc and finally there was a lovely little garden but not a single chair to sit outside.
These were minor things and we will definitely use again if in Cromer . Thank you

A lovely base for exploring North Norfolk...
Could do with a door or curtain on the toilet.

As a Solo Traveller it was nice an private,Quiet, loved it,will book again

It's in a great location relative to town, the beach and the zoo, while still being quite peaceful in the evening. It has everything two people need to store and prepare light meals. All the manuals for the appliances were easy to find. The fixtures and fittings are chic and unobtrusive, there is adequate storage, the shower is particularly nice, the linens and towels provided were good quality and the multifunctional windows allow lots of sunlight and breeze into the room. Great for a couple, particularly if you don't mind doing your most intimate business in front of eachother.
The garden is charming but we didn't get much chance to enjoy it as there was no garden furniture provided and we didn't want to drag the nice indoor chairs onto the lawn. Also, some indication of how to access the property before we arrived would have saved us a little stress. Google maps does not recognise it, there was no clear signage or even a number 50 that we could see. We only realised we were in the right place when we let ourselves in the gate looking for someone to help us. The gentleman we spoke to on the phone was very pleasant but a warning, and maybe a picture of the location on the booking page, would have helped a lot.
