We had a great time. The property was exactly as it was listed. Was very clean and in a very good neighborhood.

Our time at the VRBO was peaceful located in a residential neighborhood. A small beach was located adjacent to our building. We had access to fishing and a place to drop our boats at a local Marina about two miles away. One day we decided to check out Put-In-Bay where we enjoyed the Perry Memorial and great places to eat. The kids really enjoyed the golf carts.
Our VRBO was clean and roomy for a large family. The view on Lake Erie from inside the building was great!
Parking was tight which is why we had to drop our boats at a local Marina which our host Eric arranged for us. I would go back to this VRBO again!

House was great. Loft style was so fun for the kids. Lots of board games, nostalgic video games and outdoor space with bbq outdoor table, Adirondack chairs and Couches fire pit and of course the foosball table! Kitchen was well outfitted with matching pots cups and utensils. So cute and beachy. Washer and dryer are high capacity and in their own laundry room so laundry noise does not disturb everyone.

We had a great time staying at this house. The small beach right next door provided a perfect way for our family to spend time together for a few days (we also spent two days at Cedar Point, which was only 15 minutes away!). The property manager was quick to respond to the couple of (very minor) issues we had.
My only critique would be the cleanliness of the house. The basics were done (floor swept, vacuumed, bed linens clean and made, etc.) but the house could have benefited from a deep clean. There were many cobwebs in common living spaces (like the windowsills that we sat next to to eat and the window right above the sink) and the kitchen cabinets looked like they hadn't been wiped out for a long time. While the dishes were clean, I still washed the pans before I used them because of the state of the cabinet they were sitting in.
Overall, a fantastic place to stay, well stocked with kids supplies and provided a nice backdrop for a wonderful family vacation.

If you're looking for a new place to take your family, this cottage on the water is amazing between the beautiful architecture, the wonderful sunsets and sunrises in the private beach. I can't find myself wanting to stay anywhere else...

We had amazing time at this lake house, great for our big family and met all accommodations, this was for my sons birthday and trip to cedarpoint. The view was amazing of lake. Beautiful place to stay in and eric the owner was amazing with keeping communicating and keeping us updated on the high winds and weather.. we would definitely love to stay there again.

The pictures are very accurate. The house was exactly as expected. The beach just across the road was a lovely cove, one of the best in the area I think. We had a lovely time. Be aware that the rocks that protect the property from the lake do block a lot of the view from inside the house, but we did not feel at all cut off from the lake. There is a great elementary school playground one third of a mile away if you come with a child out of session.

We loved this old full of character home in the most amazing setting ever. It was so fully equipped for our needs and we loved everything about it. I will definitely try to get their again as longas my Lord permits!

This is an excellent place to stay if you have have a large family/group and intend to enjoy the surrounding sights and activities. Spend the day at Cedar Point or museuming or whatever and enjoy a late afternoon at the lakeside grilling dinner. Sunrises over Lake Erie are a must!

The location of the property is perfect for enjoying the lake. The large concrete patio was perfect for our grandsons to ride their bikes, with enough room for others to relax and enjoy the views. Access to the private beach was also a plus.
Upon arrival, however, the house was not clean. Areas of the floor had not been swept, with pieces of litter laying around, there was heavy dust on the furniture, and cobwebs encasing the kitchen light and in some of the bedrooms. I contacted our host who immediately responded with an offer to come clean, but I felt this was something that should have been completed and inspected prior to our arrival. The bathrooms and bed linens were all very clean, however, which is maybe the most important.
We also experienced a storm on the third day of our stay which rendered the beach covered in seawood. We attempted to rake a small path to the water, but were never fully able to enjoy the water again. While I understand no one has control of Mother Nature, we were informed a beach clean up does not occur until August so this may affect future visitors.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay. The house is nicely equipped with essentials; there were floats available for both adults and children; response to questions and concerns were immediate; there were plenty of games for all ages; and the space allows everyone to have their own space, inside and outside.

My family absolutely loves this home and property. We make an annual trip there every summer and it’s become our favorite “cousin vacation”. We have kids ranging from 5-14 and they all enjoy it. The house is adorable and first floor is spacious allowing everyone their own space when needed. We have been staying at this house for a few years now so we’ve noticed the new owners have put a lot of care and time making little changes and upgrades. They have so many of the kitchen necessities which make it easier for us to not have to take as much because we do all the prep and cooking there.
The outside is gorgeous. They have big beautiful boulders along the water. There is a massive concrete area we use for scooters, chalking, etc. Then we literally walk a few feet and we’re at the little private beach area and water. Sand is not like a main beach, but it’s enough to appease the kids. There is a little cove which makes us feel like we’re in a secluded part of the lake, making it easier to keep watch on the kids and have tons of privacy. The marina is nearby for us to drop our jet ski in the water and a short ride back to the cove.
The owners are wonderful. When they took over they reached out personally and communicated about the change very thoroughly and encouraged contacting them direct for any questions or concerns. They are on top of all communication and needs though, so I’ve never needed to contact them for anything.
I’d recommend this home to anyone. - Sarah

This lake house was perfect location. We spent a week here with the whole family, including Grandparents and kids as young as 5. Great location to grocery stores, fishing and Cedar Point. Surrounding patio was fully paved which was perfect for my daughter's wheelchair. Neighboring beach was perfect for my older kids. We would stay here again in a heart beat.

This property is wonderful! Quiet and relaxing with a wonderful view. We had three families stay here and we had plenty of space for sleeping arrangements, eating, and relaxing. The owners were easy to communicate with and were very accommodating. The house and property are well taken care of and clean. If you decide to stay here, you will have a great time!

This is our second time staying at this property because we just love it so much. There’s nothing more perfect than being able to wake up and go to bed right by the water, plus we always have fires at nighttime. The view is breathtaking during the day and night, but it’s especially beautiful with the stars out at night, the glow of a fire, and the waves crashing around you.
My kids are four and two and love the house because there are toys for both inside and outside and SO much room to run around and play. I love that I don’t have to bring a pack and play, high chair, or gate for the steps, which makes packing easier. There’s plenty to do on the property or around the property, but we always do Cedar Point when we stay as well, which is a great time.
The owners are easy to work with and very nice. I had an issue with getting the lock to work (it was user error, lol) but I got help immediately and was able to get back inside. Overall, we have created a lot of family memories here and are excited for the next time we are able to go back. I can’t recommend this house enough!

The rental was advertised. You are getting what I am calling an old barn style home, which thr pictures show. The listing was accurate, home was as expected. Owners or whoever we dealt with for the rental were absolutely great, responsive, informative, polite, gave us extended check in and out times just because it was available. Great experience there. Only thing I would suggest is the mattresses too hard for many in our group. But as older house, as advertised, great view, true listin
