A spacious apartment with a convenient location.
Lack of natural light in the bedroom due to being in the basement

Location is excellent.
Carpets covered in marks, but actually clean. Put down some rugs would help.

Great location but in need of repairs and maintenance. Musty smell, particularly in the top floor kitchen, which the agent tried to mask by going in first and opening all the windows. The agent was very friendly though…
There is a large wooden planter box above the door which looks like it’s about to collapse. We opened the window upstairs and the sash fell off… many of the windows had rot. The bathroom on the second floor had a door that did not close and a very leaky vanity (which others have noted). They obviously knew about the door because they left a doorstop to allow for some privacy when showering or using the toilet. Not particularly clean, but passable.

Superb location
Bathrooms very average
Beds very average

The apartment rep came and met us, he was very polite and friendly..took us through everything. Room nice and big and very quiet for being so close to the centre of London The location was great for us to go into Westminster and then up to Camden town later on that night..tube station a few minutes walk
Nothing

The host is friendly, and the house is quite complete.
Kitchen utensils can be improved. The stairs were a challenge for my aunt who had difficulty climbing the stairs all the way to the top for her meals though she stayed on the ground floor. Not suitable for the elderly.
3.5
Spacious three level terraced house in a good location. Quiet for central London. Lots of facilities close by. Warren st tube station 60 meters away. Internet was very good.
Expensive. The house needs a renovation. The door is very shabby with a broken lock. The kitchen is made with very cheap units. The showers in the bathrooms are shabby and clearly very cheap. The TV stations do not have a good reception so can`t watch the TV during early morning breakfast. Didn`t say anything because we were out from morning to evening so did not have time to wait in for the landlord.

Central location, close to park and tube.
Even though we announced our time of arrival, we were made to wait for an hour outside the apartment, as the person responsible for check in was not on time. Apartment has a potential but it's truly in poor state. Sink in one of the bathrooms was leaking the entire time. Also, there is no shelves in the bathroom to put toiletries. Towels are dated, bed linen is left to be desired. Everything was very shabby and frankly not very clean. Sofa bed is super uncomfortable. Absolutely no value for money and really far from photos. In addition, even though location is central ( edge of Fitzrovia) and well connected, there was a lot of trash outside.

Horrible experience!! Came with our family to the near sqaure straight from the airport only to find out that the host cancelled the reservation!! Without any notice and only as a response for us asking for directions to the property!!!
Everything!! The host was unprofessional, wrote us the the property was left ruined by another guest and didnt even try to help. Avcorse, we waited for hours in the street, trying to find a solution with our kids and our luggage. The host show no intrest!! Horrible way to start a vacation
4.5
Location was great and in easy walking distance to the Bristish Museum and tube station
It was really cold and we were in a heat wave so bring your jumper

the location was good but I like many guests were confused by the location being described as Fitzroy Sq. None of the properties have this address but are in nearby streets. This was misleading to many prior guests and should be modified.
Carpets were dirty. Carpet was loose on top stair (tripping hazard). Mid level bathroom door didn’t latch and stay in closed position without using deadbolt. Some kitchen cupboards were loose on their hinges and falling off. Downstairs bedroom closet door off hinge. No toilet paper supplied. We encountered a mouse on night one. Owners were responsive in dealing with this, but there were droppings where fold out bedding was stored and we had to wait until day 2 for things to be fixed. Some light switches were not working properly and bulbs needed in mid level bathroom. Communication prior to checkin was difficult. Replies took 2 days and needed followup or prompting to get a reply. Once on property response was fast and good.

Location was excellent. Host was helpful meeting us so we could drop our bags off.
Good facilities.
Apartment wasn’t very clean - look under the beds!
There were no towels left. The host did get some delivered which was great. But there was no hand towels, no bathroom mats or tea towels for the kitchen.

The location is great.
The customer service is terrible!!!!!!!!!!!
I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life. They are extremely slow / non responsive at times and leave you feeling frustrated.

The beds were comfortable. It was spacious, light and warm
No prior notification it was on top floor via narrow stairs. The entrance route was dirty. The WiFi wasn’t working; the tv had very poor reception. No cups or mugs suitable for tea drinkers. The person letting us in was 30 minutes late;no alternative means of accessing the property was suggested
4.0
The apartment is located in a quite area yet you get everywhere easily thanks to the tube being around the corner.
Maybe a coat hanger and a place to put the shoes in the entrance area would be a nice addition.

Lovely flat in a superb location. Very central, but safe and quiet. The size and condition of the flat FAR exceeded expectations - we couldn't believe how fabulous and big it was. Nice comfortable beds, and warm powerful showers. Lovely staff who were welcoming and responded promptly to communications.
There could be more cutlery and crockery.

Location
Had to wait for the person to open the door for us despite informing what time we arrived
Some rooms did not have toilet roll
Host wanted to bring people in to survey the apartment when we were staying. Thought it was strange and inconvenient?

The property was in a great location. Within walking distance of central London, but tucked away in a quiet residential street. It had been recently refurbished with brand new carpet and freshly painted. Very modern style. It was super clean and was warm and cosy. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which both had en suite shower & bathrooms. I would definitely stay there again.
On the listing on booking.com the address specified Fitzroy Square which was actually a 5 minute walk from the apartment we were given, that was on Huntley St. We were very happy with the apartment but feel we should have been made aware of the correct address before booking. I believe there are a number of apartments owned by the company around this area.

Great location and good comfort.
The apartment was not perfectly clean.

I never leave a review but on this occasion felt I had to because prior to arriving I was really nervous due to some recent reviews that were left but there was absolutely nothing to worry about, it was perfect. I feel the other reviews are describing a completely different property. The location was great, the man who met us on arrival was lovely and the accommodation it’s self was brilliant. Such a spacious apartment, clean, had everything we needed and was perfect for a group. I’d definitely recommend and would come stay here again.

Location. Quiet. Espace.
The photos are nicer than the reality, therefore disappointing on arrival.
The flat shows signs of wear and tear and needs refreshing.
The furniture and plastic plants are not in keeping with the price.
4.5
Freshly painted and everything was new. Great amount of space for 4 people. The host was very helpful and sorted the couple of very small issues we had very quickly. Really good communication. The location is brilliant.
It says no internet- but there is internet. I would return.
Outside one of the showers was dirty - hair etc -and there was also a smell from the drains.
A couple of the towels were well passed their best and
no hand towels or towels for drying dishes.
Soundproofing is poor in the building. It meant the roadworks outside were very noisy. Hopefully that is temporary. We thought the apartment was on Fitzroy Sq as
advertised. It’s very close but that was confusing.

Very comfortable, clean and a good location.
Beds are on yhe small side

The Location
ground floor shower didn’t work, bedroom doors creaked and kitchen tap dripped constantly! And I had asked for a cot, that never appeared! The property does need a bit of TLC, but we would use it again!

All furniture and bedding etc was brand new. Decor looks nice but that's all in s dodgey flat which obviously makes it not as nice
The entire apartment was awful from walking through the communal hall. It's above a shop also which isn't shown or explained. My children felt unsafe here, really dodgy feel and very dirty in the hall. My son actually cried when we arrived because it was dirty and he felt scared, which we was the same, I was so upset I wanted to leave but they refused any money back. They told me it clearly states where we were staying which is untrue. If they had offered even half the money we would have left and risked trying to find somewhere. We paid over £400 but it's not worth £100 a night. Had they tried to help us in some way I wouldn't write a review I would take it up with them but they are not interested. Not professional at all.
Un even flooring so keep tripping, even under carpets.
Not the correct address from booking.com
Plumbing doesn't work correctly and won't flush everytime. Water spits and spurts out the taps.
Wifi won't work
No fire exit!
Hallway is dirty and unsafe, uneven steps, never seen a hoover or a lick of paint. Stinks!
Door has no proper lock so we barricaded it at night!
Attic is open with ladders stood next to it, no proper hatch so huge draft.
Rodent repellent plugins in the rooms makes us think they must have a problem.
Toilet continuously drips/runs water so can't sleep for listening to that.
The toilet is also taped up at the back.
Cracked tiles in the bathroom.

Everything is exactly as in the pictures and description

The location was great to get around the city
Very noisy, builders from 8am drilling as well as alarms going off next door. Not good for medium/light sleepers.
The kitchen tap constantly dripped, kitchen cupboard not attached properly. Worn out and battered interior. The bathrooms weren’t very clean and were worn out.
Didn’t look like the pictures. Clearly taken on a very very favourable day.
No internet, without working wifi, contacted the hosts and didn’t get back to me for 2 days and putting in a new mobile router which didn’t even work during our stay.
Needed a kitchen towel or paper kitchen towels.
Disappointed with the apartment overall, the only good thing was the location and the host was friendly when giving us the keys.

MISLEADING ADVERT
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
SCARY
The owners sent me a message via WhatsApp with a property address in a different area of London from the one I booked.
They demanded £50 in cash for a late booking fee and said they would not provide a receipt.
When I called Booking.com to complain, they started threatening me.
I was with my daughter and feared for our safety, so we did not check-in and left.

tiny insects crawling in and out from a hole then made in the wall.. in the bathroom near the bath tub on the ground floor
