It was very nice

The hotel was OK. You get what you pay for. I was pissed off about the resort fee that I thought was excessive and there was no "resort." It was a ruse for stinging you for breakfast charge and parking. $55/person was excessive for that. Just be honest--parking and breakfast extra. Had I known that, I might have booked a different hotel because I thought this one was cheaper than it really was. Overall, OK. I have been an extensive business traveler, and I marvel at the dishonesty of hotels sticking in extra charges so capriciously.

Staffand location were fantastic. However be aware that: parking is bad, pictures don't match the website. The remodeling was a little shoddy. Barn door on the bathroom, it was extremely hard to close, due to it being hung too low. Shower was extremely small and the shower head was coming out of the wall.

Good location with comfortable rooms. Only negative is the limited parking and problems finding parking when hotel lot was full.

Check in was fast and friendly. Our stay included free breakfast both mornings which was surprisingly good. Keto friendly options including turkey sausage and fresh fruit. We also received a free well drink coupon and 25% off appetizer which was a nice addition. The room was basic and in need of updated furnishings. The bed was a plush pillow top memory foam and very comfortable. The shower was small, the head was coming loose from the wall and not adjustable so getting under the spray was a challenge. Overall it was an average stay in a reasonably priced room within easy walking distance to the casinos, concert venue. Heavenly Village is literally across the street with many shops and dining options and Starbucks was just across the street also. Walking to the lake for a stroll at sunset was just 10 minutes away and an incredible sunset awaits on a comfortable September evening. It was a nice relaxing weekend and much cheaper than staying at one of the casinos or new Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville for between $500-$1,000 a night. I'll take this hotel any day for just over $250/per night.

Room wasn’t cleaned even after requested. Shower and sink water pressure were erratic. Not enough electrical outlets.

The room looked nothing like the website pics. False advertising. Floors were dirty, shower head was coming out of the wall and water sprayed up to the ceiling. The sliding door at the bathroom was super heavy and was really loud. We were called 5 days prior to our stay and told they were overbooked and we would be in their sister hotel which reviews indicated was older and less nice. I said no and was called back a few mins later stating they found a room.

The staff at checkin and breakfast are incredibly helpful.
3.4
Easy check-in and out, clean and comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast w/ plenty of hot food choices—would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at Hotel Becket. First time staying at this property after staying at a different one the previous two years. Would definitely stay again. The breakfast was very good and the friendly staff was helpful.

We checked-in and the front desk clerk gave us three hand written free drink certificates for the hotel bar that closed at 8 so we didn’t get to use them. She said we could use the gym next door, but didn’t have the pass to do that either. The room was nice, but there was a big wad of hair in the shower drain and 2 of the 3 shower products were EMPTY. Breakfast was good, but one of the people working here was talking to a couple from 10 feet away and they were practically yelling at each other. I wouldn’t stay here again!

We’ve stayed before and had a pleasant experience but this time was not the case. Checkin took forever and then the room smelled like someone let an animal pee and then cleaner was so strong trying to cover it. The shower was so hard to open and shut. It was a quick stay, but we were disappointed!

My husband and I stayed here for the 4th of July weekend. We were also able to bring our small dog with us and enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere where we could sit and have a cocktail and not have to be stuck inside our room. We would definitely stay here again.

The website was misleading with the rooms , our toilet ran all night ! And the shampoo and conditioner bottles were almost empty . The beds were comfy and the room was clean .

Cute little place, walking distance to heavenly village & casinos

I do not recommend this place if your expecting high end hotel.
-Double charged. Took several call backs to get rectified. Had to call bank to verify each time. In the end it was refunded however it tied up $685 dollars on my card for about 7 days.
-Rooms smell like pee, mold, and bunch of other unidentifiable odors.
-Shower head was set to a height for a 3.5 ft person and when adjusting broke and shot water everywhere.
-Toilet seat looked like it was dragged behind a car for 20 miles.
-Key cards had to be reset twice and still didn't work right. Sometimes would open on first try, sometimes on the 17th. This typically would just be an annoyance and we wouldn't think twice about it. However during our stay a bear had wandered into the area and was frequenting the hotel nightly. Being able to get into the room in a hurry was pretty paramount.
-Breakfast was not good. Eggs burned and whatever the meat was (I didn't try it) looked pretty gross.
-Getting dinner to go one night at the bar and witnessed several people coming up stating their meat smelled "funny". I asked one of the people if I could smell it and it seemed fine to me. The gentleman who smoked the meat was there and seemed very capable in his job. Burger was pretty good so take this part as you will.
-We were with a large group of people all staying in separate rooms and all had similar issues with everything listed. Several even had the double charging issue.
-Additionally on the trips to get the c

Bait and Switch. When we checked in we were sent to their sister property Tahoe Blue hotel behind. When we got back from dinner there were police in the lobby. 2 am in the morning someone was shaking our front door trying to get in. In the morning there were police in the hallway and next door unit. They were evicting a homeless person.
Went back to Hotel Beckett and complained. Told them to move us to Hotel Beckett or we will leave. They moved us but were not very understanding. Hotel Beckett is newly remodeled and feels safe. Tahoe Blue Hotel is dark and does not feel safe. I would have never stayed there. This was our Anniversary and was not a good experience. Would never stay there again!

The only good thing about this property is how close and convenient it is to shopping, and dining. You can walk to the dining and shopping locations.
The property's pictures are not even close to what you will see in person. The carpet is stained, dirty and disgusting. The shower is so small, and the water just pours out of the doors so you will end up with a swimming pool on the floor of the bathroom.
The free breakfast was old cold waffles, burned scrambled eggs and burnt microwaved sausage patties. No juice for the kiddos.
The site states this property has a swimming pool, and it does not have a pool.
The bed was about as comfy as the place could get.
They double charged a lot of the parties in the group we were with; they did not honor the prices that Expedia quoted us and charged way more the "resort" fees than what they advertised.
The restaurant/bar was out of a lot of their menu items and the pricing was pretty high for what you are getting.

-Rooms needed updating.
-carpet dirty
Overall it was a pleasant experience. Staff was pleasant, nice and friendly. They just need to clean better. Jeremy was great.

Very clean, shower was very small and hard for my 6 ft tall husband . The shower head was not very far up from his head

We booked 8 rooms (4 king beds & 4 double two queen). They gave us 8 king bed rooms and said sold out, we did not agree and they moved 3 rooms to the next door hotel partner which was terrible and when we complained with front dest, the frontdest said we could check out if we don't want to stay they just said to sorry and will have their manager next morning to solve the problem..and nothing happened even I wait there and looking for the person who can solve my problems.
I would not recommend this hotel and their partner or sister hotels.

I will absolutely not stay at this hotel again! I have stayed here before a couple times and it has just gone down hill! The carpet was disgusting, the shower didn’t drain, the toilet didn’t flush, the tv didn’t work, the drain unscrewed from the shower and black mold everywhere, there was no promised pool!, there was supposed to be this great “hot breakfast” for free and when we went for breakfast, there was literally no food! There were so many people in there bumping shoulders and food was promised to be refilled and an hour later muffins came out! So that was a disaster with hungry kids so much so that we went out the second morning and PAID for a breakfast elsewhere! Our room wasn’t cleaned the second day so when we returned we still had no towels or refills of anything! We were told they don’t clean the rooms. And to absolutely top it off, I am mortified at what a front desk agent told me not once, but TWICE!!! He kept telling me to take my valuables with me out of the room because the “housekeepers have sticky fingers” and “all the housekeepers are Latin American and they have sticky fingers.” I am disgusted by his comments! I am disgusted by my stay!!! We go to Tahoe often and if I could give this hotel ZERO stars I would!!!!

Everything was fabulous.. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Excellent location

Checked into room and found food in fringe. Bathroom mirror had tooth paste splatters sink dirty. Toilet has cleaner in bowl but was not clean. I went to office to replace the towels I used to clean my room with and let them know why I used the towels. The next morning my husband went to shower and the shower head fell off. The bathroom sink faucet was broken, a hole in the wall from front door slamming into it. I will never stay there again. The food in their restaurant was terrible and staff was very unprofessional.

Staff was friendly. Good breakfast. Would love to have a pool or hot tub option.

The property needs some renovations

It was okay. Had problems at check in. They were going to charge me full price when I already paid through Expedia. The room smelled a little like cigarettes.
3.4
Noisy room by the busy road.
3.4
The bathroom was dirty in the shower, our room had wet carpet in one spot that never dried and the shower supplies they have in the shower on the wall were all empty and one had a pube on it

We reserved Hotel Becket BW signature collection based on photos and pricing on hotels.com. On arrival we were told that we were not at the Hotel Becket BW but rather the sister hotel named Hotel Blue which in my standard was a dive. The room was unacceptable, stains on the carpet and ceiling, toilet was not bolted down and rocked back and forth, drawer would not open, and in general gross. We booked well in advanced for our girls trip to the Celebrity Golf tournament in Tahoe. The hotel we thought we were booked for was what we expected. We were told there were no rooms available at that hotel and they would give us a refund. Obviously ridiculous as we had arrived and tournament had started. NO rooms available in our price range last minute. I feel like it was a bait and switch. Hotels.com showed me a nice property with a 3 star rating and I pay way too much and we get stuck. Definitely false advertising.
