An overnight in the cleanest airport in the world. A GREAT place to stay and cop some Zs.

The friendly staff makes a non Japanese speaking me feel welcome all the time. Had a runway view room seeing airplanes taking off and landing without the noise. Terminal 2 is just an automated sliding door away with all types of airport shop, restaurants and transportations. Breakfast buffet can add a bit more western types of foods in my opinion. Excellent choice if you need a place to stay and fly from the airport the next day.

I only stayed for 10 hours.
Very convenient
4.4
Extremely quiet and convenient to Haneda airport.
4.4
Convenient, great food available with so many places within walking distance in the airport, and room had so many extras included such as water, hairbrush, razor, coffee, etc. I will always book based on my flight schedule for arrivals or departures.
4.4
It does the trick. If you need a place at the airport this is fine and I’d stay again. Nothing especially memorable from the stay.
4.4
One evening. Extraordinary comfort. Especially after long flight.

Lovely rooms, lovely staff. Checking in and out a breeze. Helpful for any overnight stay before an early morning flight out of Haneda.

We loved our stay at the Haneda Excel Hotel Tokyo. First we were greeted by a very pleasant hospitality hostess, then she escorted us to to check in counter. The young lady who checked us in was very gracious and understanding our lack of knowledge of the Japanese language. We all had a good laugh when she explained to me that I still owed 200 yen for room taxes. I thought she meant $200 USD. We all laughed when I realized it was less than $2.00 USD.
The room is spacious with a sitting area, table & chairs that I wasn’t expecting. The bathroom is quite large with one of those incredible Japanese toilets that does everything but the dishes.
We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant “The Flyer’s Table”. The staff was amazing just like the food. I had the mushroom stroganoff and it was delicious. Can’t wait to see what’s for breakfast this morning. Will definitely return here if I get the chance.

We had to extend or time in Tokyo and this hotel offered an excellent option to make use of unplanned extra day in Tokyo, while still being so close to our flight (we flew out of T3). Place was also quite nice - very clean and spacious. Very friendly staff too.

Clean, convenient

The hotel is very nice overall except for the high cost. very convenient for early flight.

All was good !

We landed late and didn't expect that we had to go through immigration to get to the hotel. We actually canceled another hotel for this thinking we could avoid having to go out. By the time we got to the hotel, it was almost midnight. I was worried about check in but there was a staff by the kiosk helping us, which was nice because I most likely would have trouble with the check-in kiosk myself. The room was basic but clean, the bed a bit hard, and we were looking out to a parking garage. It was fine for just a night between flights but the fact that you have to go through immigrations twice was annoying.

We liked the fast check-in service using the machine. We also liked the spacious area inside the room as you can even put the airport trolley to the room.
The facility is a bit old, but acceptable. It's ideal for taking a rest at Terminal 2 and catch the next flight on the early morning at Terminal 2.

Machine checkin took longer than human. Annoying. Room lights operated via faulty side table switches so had to remove room card from slot to switch them off. This left me with no air conditioning. Again, annoying in a room costing over £140

Perfect for late arrival.

This place was a sight for sore eyes (literally) after a very long flight. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!

I appreciated the ability to leave my luggage at the hotel prior to my check-in time so that I didn’t have to push it around the airport while I waited to check-in. I also appreciate that they were willing to keep the luggage until I could check-in for my flight.
The breakfast buffet had a nice assortment of food and everything I ate was fresh and tasty.
4.4
No problem.
4.4
It is located in the airport terminal building and so convenient for departure or arrival.

Staff very helpful

Clean. Courteous

The room is clean and the location of the hotel is convenient. However, when I tried to check in my name did not register on their database. It was then discovered that they had misspelled my name while converting it from English to Japanese. As I typed in my name in front of the check-in computer system a few times, I became worried, and my fatigue accumulated further especially after arriving in Haneda following a long flight. There was no apology from the staff for their error. The front desk was a disappointment.

Great relaxing stay before an international flight out. Lots of good food options and last minute shopping. Really fun to watch the planes land and take off from your room. Also common viewing areas, inside and outdoors.

Stayed her during a layover and it was perfect!

Nice hotel located right inside Terminal 2 of Haneda. We stayed here twice now, once for a final night before leaving Japan on a very long flight with a long layover, and once for a place for stay after landing in Tokyo after an international flight. It's very handy for when you're traveling with kids and need to get to your hotel quickly so the kids don't stay up too late. Apart from location, hotel is in immaculate condition and staff and extremely resourceful.

It was an excellent experience for our trip to Japan!! We will come back to this hotel!!

A perfect stay for a stopover from New York to Sydney

Very convenient for getting rest between flights.

The only exception was at the dining facility in the ground floor. I had dinner that night at about 8 to 930there. The waitress was friendly and provided a good service but when I had to pay she directed me to counter with the payment had to be made and I found the man at reception rather unfriendly . He did not see anything, but he was very abrupt in taking the money from me and made absolutely no eye contact and turned away. I was in Japan for 10 days and had not had such an experience at any place I ate in

The Haneda Excel Hotel Tokyu at the Haneda Airport is a great option for a long layover or early morning flight. I had a 17-hour overnight layover between international flights and the hotel provided me with a great sleep for the night. The hotel is outside of security and immigration, but it is part of Terminal 2. It is easy to reach using a free bus that connects Terminals 1, 2, and 3.
Check in was easy and the staff was very helpful. Rooms are clean and perfect for an overnight stay. The bed was very comfortable. I was surprised at how quiet the room was given that it overlooked the airport tarmac.
There are plenty of dining and snack options in Terminal 2 or one can eat in the hotel restaurant or room service. (I picked up some snacks in the terminal shops.)

We had an 18 hour layover on our way back to the States. Rather than sleeping in the airport, we decided to spend the night at a hotel and kill time in the city during the day while we wait for our evening flight. We arrived past midnight and check in was easy. Front desk staff was helpful. The hotel is conveniently located in Terminal 2 of Haneda Airport which can be accessed via the free airport shuttle that operates til 1:15 a.m. Our flight arrived in Terminal 3 and we missed the last shuttle so we took an Uber. The hotel opens right into Terminal 2 which makes flying out from Terminal 2 so easy. Terminal 2 has plenty of restaurants including a Starbucks on the opposite end on the 4th floor, where we got our morning coffee. Our rooms were spacious and clean. We were very pleased with our experience and will definitely consider booking again.
