Near all the tourist attractions. Near restaurants. Negative: The french receptionist was not very kind. The hotel doesn't have parking. Difficult to find a spot to park

Perfect location…. Upgraded without asking which was nice. Good sized room with views of the castle…. Perfect… WiFi was a bit temperamental was the only issue.

Hotel refuse to store my luggage for two days we were taking a side trip and then coming back to the hotel which they promised, before we had book this hotel. That was disappointing.

We love this hotel - very convenient to central Amboise - but it’s looking a little tired. Main entrance and hallway carpeting need a facelift. Regardless, very clean and great value.

Our stay at Hotel Bellevue was very pleasant. The staff was Friendly and Courteous. Location of the Hotel could not be more perfect for seeing the sights, restaurants nearby, and transportation. We would definitely come back and stay once more at the Hotel Bellevue.

You can write nice things about location near to Chateau, room has ensuite etc, but basically this was a fairly grotty hotel and our room was rubbish. Room so small that even just a queen size bed, could not fully open door. Had to enter in sequence to get in & around door. Not nice!

Great location to access the historic area. Easily walkable. Our room had a shared roof balcony where we watched the sunset over the river. Parking was a struggle. We walked almost a mile to the hotel. The room was very basic. The bathroom was dark. Hotel could use some updating. Needs new carpets, paint and a deep clean. Don't purchase breakfast here. It was beyond terrible and completely lacked service.

Hotel Bellevue is great - located right next to the main pedestrian area with shops and restaurants, it's walkable to both the castle and Clos Luce. Our little suite was perfect for 4 people - restaurant was very good. I would stay there agin!

Great location, friendly helpful staff, very quiet room even though just off a main road. A very quaint town, it would be worth staying 2 nights. Many restaurants and shopping conveniently located near the hotel. Within walking distance to all the main attractions.

After a long drive from Normandy, we were thrilled to see our beautiful accommodations with 2 separate bedrooms and two bathrooms. We opened the window to head a street musician playing the accordion! We got the best sleep of our 11 night journey the two nights at Hotel Bellvue. The breakfast offered was delicious and an incredible value for the price. We also stopped for a drink in the evening at the restaurant.

The room was spacious and clean. However, the front desk staff were not helpful. They weren’t able to tell us about where to look for parking or hours parking was available and we felt frustrated. Front desk staff were not able to share hours or recommendations for restaurants in town and even said they didn’t know because they had never eaten at any of the restaurants in town. I believe our stay and experience would have been different if the front desk staff had been more customer service oriented. The toilet rocked when we sat on it and the bathroom definitely could use updating. The shower leaked on the floor. Great location proximity to restaurants and sites, but we will be staying elsewhere next time.

Wonderful property. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The restaurant was very good for dinner and drinks. We had a family of four and got the two bedroom suite. Much nicer and cheaper than getting 2 rooms. Highly recommend.

This hotel is tiny - rooms are very small. But everything is easily accessible and walkable from it. If you're lucky to have a front facing room in the hotel - the view is gorgeous (Loire River) - but noisy if you're like me and like to keep the window open. The Castle is in the back yard of this place and well worth the visit. There is no parking offered by hotel - however it wasn't an issue for us as it was November and we were able to park on the street for free - but I suspect this might be a problem at high season with more tourists around. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed our visit very much and would come back here again. Merci!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Bellevue for the weekend. It was in a perfect location for visiting Amboise and surrounding areas. We were right in the middle of town and could walk to many restaurants within minutes. The Hotel was very clean and our room was very spacious. We had a family suite which consisted of two bedrooms. The room was in great condition and we had no issues. We took advantage of the breakfast in the restaurant every morning; it was a full buffet with plenty of options. There was free parking on the street; don't pay for one of the lots nearby. It was easy to find parking a little ways down the street from the hotel! I would definitely recommend Hotel Bellevue!

Place is lovely, location is superb, very clean, second category is very spacious, air conditioning, everything that you need is there. however, we expected to have river or castle view, which is promised at the website, we had none - it was attic small window with view to next door building roof. Also double bed is made of 2 joined singles with no double bed size mattress, only mattress protection cover and sheet on top of if so the gap was a bit of discomfort. We stayed just for one night so did not make a fuss of it. Overall, good but not as good as expected.

This was a last minute decision to stay here. We ended up with a grand room with glassed in balcony and an open air balcony. Right behind us we could see Amboise lit up with lights. The rooms and bathroom were very nice. We got lucky and found street parking that was no charge. This location is walking distance to many great restaurants and the castle. Breakfast in the morning was one of the best I had. The only down side was our room was labeled non-smoking and someone before us must have smoked 20 packs in the glassed in area. It was a very strong smell that was unpleasant. Had I stayed more than one night I would have complained or bought some Febreze. I however do not think that one bad incident should deter me from going back.

The staff was great. The ac and refrigerator were a lifesaver in the 90 degree weather. The location is perfect and the parking was manageable. Stay here.
