A very special place.
Magical atmosphere solely lit by candles.
Food fantastic.
One can feel the pride and care the owner and staff feel in every detail.
It is also blissful to be surrounded by the well kept countryside.

It was a nice experience to stay in a 1770 Inn but not very comfortable. Bathroom was very small. Bed was uncomfortable. Dinner was small portions and not very good.

Intimate romantic venue and dining experience. Ate at the bar so all the tables were candlelit and charming. Great historical site, well run. Breakfast, that comes with, is a mile away in an amazing coffee, pastry shop. We loved it!

This hotel was built in the late 1700s so the fact that it’s still standing and can provide guests a lovely room, phenomenal restaurant and wonderful service is a feat in itself. I had a lovely front facing room with huge balcony, sitting room and full bath.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Old Inn on the Green. The room and bathroom were a bit small but perfectly fine for two people. We really felt like we were staying in an old inn, though that did mean we could hear everything going on in other parts of the house. But as long as you’re not planning to go to bed early it’s fine. The restaurant is amazing and the decor is beautiful. Loved that breakfast was included at the cafe down the road. Will definitely return!

My boyfriend and I stayed here to celebrate my 30th birthday. The Inn has a 17th century colonial feel, but we loved that. There was a fireplace in our room a claw tub, making it a cozy winter weekend getaway for us. The staff was helpful and accommodating, and we had the most amazing dinner at their on-site 4 star restaurant. Breakfast was free, and due to COVID they sent us to a delicious cafe down the road to eat instead of eating at the on-site restaurant. We definitely want to go back, this time in the summer to see all the beauty that the Berkshires offer in a different season.

As usual the stay and the dinner was superb! The breakfast was not at the Inn , we had to go to their store 2 miles away. It would have been fine, however because of COVID 19, they only allowed outdoor dining. It was raining and no table open under the porch. We had to eat in our car. instead of nice china, I ate my yogurt with a plastic fork.We really missed being at the Inn.Sorry

Rustic, small inn in a very rural part of Berkshires. Comfortable bed, nice shower. Dinner was included in our stay and was delicious and the service was great!Breakfast is served at a country store 2 miles down the road. Unfortunately they only allow you to sit outside and in the rainy 42 degree morning it wasn't what we were planning on.

Awesome stay! Wonderful antique inn. Roomy, comfortable, quaint. Despite covid safety measures, still a fabulous stay. Can’t wait to go back in the fall. Our room had a “common” living room with a working FP (but no one else used it), our room, roomy bath and private outside deck. Dinner (included) with several choices - appetizer, entree, dessert. Great bread and small house appetizers in addition. Menu is thoughtful - for example, vegetarian, beef, fish (2), lamb, chicken dishes. I had the fresh corn risotto and salmon with green curry sauce, lemon poppyseed strawberry shortcake. My sister had the risotto, sirloin & short rib entree and the flourless chocolate cake. Everything was delicious and service was terrific, in a spacious tent outdoors. Touch lights, netting to keep out the insects. Very nice. Great night sleep and a super breakfast (also included) at a nearby cafe (also owned by the inn). Choices of eggs, fruit, French toast, bacon, yogurt and granola. Great place to pick up a sandwich for a day hiking or site seeing. Really - flawless stay, except that phone signal in the Berkshires is spotty. Bring a paper map for back up!

It's old and historic.
It's not in great shape and it's even dangerous in places, like the steps to the second floor in main building or the uneven floor with nails in it in our room.

It is an inn that was built in 1760 and restored to 1760 style. It has a great sense of history. Be prepared to climb a steep set of stairs! But our suite was beautiful - bedroom, sitting room and bath. The breakfast was incredibly delicious. It is not in Great Barrington as listed but is out in the country about a 20 minute drive.

We liked it all. The food was excellent and the inn is a charming place. The rooms are cozy clean and comfortable. We had an excellent two day stay at the inn.

We came to MA for a wedding. The Old Inn at the Green was clean and so lovely. We sat out on the porch and read before we got dressed for the wedding. The bed was wonderful and the towels were so thick and fluffy We plan to stay here again in the near future.

Loved the antiquity of the buildings, kept very well.
Everything worked. Would have appreciated access to early morning tea or coffe, breakfasts were excellent and the restaurant food was exceptionally good, people came from all over to experience locally grown produce. Loved the candle lit dining.
The bar man we met was not at all friendly, we did not linger there.
Location was perfect for us as it was rural and quiet.

We had a wonderful romantic getaway from Boston for a night. It's quaint and quiet. It's a beautiful retreat and well worth it!the breakfast was incredible and we had the pleasure of dining there at night. Be ready to sit for awhile as the courses are nicely timed. Great stay!
