They gave me an impression they charge for stuff that you really didn’t do or use. Like they are cheaters

I was so upset. They automatically charged my card and before you knew it I had a charge of $480. They kept telling me it was for incidentals. When I called about these again after talking to someone at the property two times, they had the nerve to hang up on me not once but twice.

This hotel was very clean and the amenities offered a lot of bang for the buck! The pool and gym were nice, the breakfast was great and the room was nice

Lots of great things to say, and a few minor disappointments. Breakfasts were great, including rellenos, burritos, and tamales. Housekeeping was wonderful, the rooms very comfortable and clean. The downside was the pool was on the cool side, the hot tub jets weren't working, the ice machine on our floor was broken, and the cable tv was not working the last day. Overall it was a good stay.

When we checked in, it was raining very hard and only 2 access doors were working. we got soaked getting to our room. Also your website said you were pet friendly, but I found nothing to indicate cost. We were very surprised to find it would cost another $70. I doubt we will be staying there on our return trip. Thank you

The property itself wasn’t terrible, but we really did feel very unsafe in the area. The breakfast area in the morning was not very clean. The food was adequate. We knew we would not like this property when the first thing we walked in to check in and we were not even greeted. We felt like we were a nuisance to the staff behind the desk. There was nothing showing areas of attraction in the hotel at all. We ask for some information on how to get to the main Square there in Santa Fe and again felt like we were a bother.

The beds were comfortable and I liked the design of the fridge/microwave/coffeemaker cabinet. The breakfast buffet was great and the people working it were very nice and friendly.
On the downside the Jacuzzi was a bit dirty. I was dissapointed the windows were nailed shut. It would have been nice to open them and let in some fresh air. It would have been nice if they had some quarters for the laundry machines. The app for the laundry machine was a pain and it ended up costing $10 to do one load of laundry.

The property is a bit dated. Rooms were clean, just a bit warn.

This hotel is older but does the job if you are looking for a safe, functional place to lay your head for the night. Given the chance to stay here again, I would.

Overall, this hotel is in need of a major renovation. Its dated, dingy, and needs more elevators.
3.0 / 10.0
This hotel is in a not very enticing part of town--all big roads and shopping malls--and this Fairfield Inn cannot match the one in Flagstaff. But it's reasonably priced and reliable.

It was a comfortable, quiet stay, just what we wanted! The only complaint that I have is that the shower wouldn’t work; I reported it when we checked out.

Thermostat didn't work, room was not very clean, door handle on bathroom broken

Wish it would have had some outdoor options - either an outdoor pool or balcony or even a small garden area. Nicely updated, great staff.

The property was a bit more run down than I expected it to be. Not super clean, but nothing was terrible.

Check in staff wonderful

I liked the pet friendliness, the room, staff and amenities (great pool and hot tub, great breakfast, and decent gym). I thought the gym had a bad smell and the upstairs hallway had a strange smell, but everything else was great!

Numerous vagrants in parking area

In general, very good, clean, nice.
1. The door to the room: takes too much effort to open.
2. The bathroom/shower: Needs a safety bar.
3. Soap: I brought my own bar soap. Liquid soap not good.
4. Breakfast: pretty boring. Did not always include bananas or oranges. Coffee too weak.

Absurd, insane pet fee's - Will NOT be back. On top of $260 a night room charge, billed an additional $70 + tax for a single overnight stay because had a dog -----> Pet fee will be per night per pet plus taxes. Non-Refundable Pet Fee Per Stay: $50. Non-Refundable Pet Fee Per Night: $20. Property is next to a run down mobile home park, not the greatest area. Breakfast was standard hotel fare, but potatoes unedible due to way too much pepper as was pancake batter as for some reason they added strawberry flavor to batter. I personally was looking forward to pancake, but couldn't eat due to strawberry flavoring being added, disappointing. Great amazing options for oatmeal topping thou, first class on that. Room was fine, only 3 bath towels and 2 sets for wash cloths/ hand towels. But the pet fee, never again.

If you have pets, do NOT stay here. I booked this place via Expedia and on Expedia, it said our dog would be an extra $20. I get to the hotel after a VERY LONG drive only to have them give me a form where I’m not only charged $20 but I’m charged an extra $50!! The $50 is a one time fee no matter how long you are staying. I understand asking for a $50 deposit and giving back in the morning if the room was left clean but and extra $70 when I was expecting $20? I brought it to the attention of the front desk person and showed her what it said on the Expedia’s website and all she could say was, “I’m sorry. That is our policy.” I might add that the front desk man checking in was not friendly. The front desk as we were checking out was very pleasant and the lady in charge of the breakfast was also very nice. Room was good but not for an extra $70!! I will not be staying at a Fairfield Marriott ever again.

Property seems run down and they are not doing a good job with cleaning. Housekeeping only changed towels, never made the bed. Pool area was dirty, pool towels as well.

Very convenient location! Most of the staff were friendly and helpful! Rooms could use some updating, not the cleanest room ive stayed in, but not the worst! Pool definitely needs attention to cleaning.
We had multiple rooms for a large group and had a great time!

Everyone was friendly and willing to help

Even the guys who worked there parked their cars right in front. No security cameras and very sketchy surroundings.

The breakfast was plenty but the juice machine did not work . We also had a problem with getting body wash as the room only had shampoo and conditioner. There is a Walgreens down the street so we ended up purchasing some.the indoor pool and hot tub was clean and a nice added bonus

Not happening
6.0 / 10.0
Property it’s ok but lacks updating. Our room shower was missing a door stopper to enter the restroom, the door handle will hit the shower glass door pretty hard making it dangerous; I reported this as a very concerning maintenance issue but in 2 days no one ever came. To fix it, the shower had an also a few dirty spots and there were no trash bags in the trash cans. I bit dissatisfied for a Fairfield property, not worth the the money I paid

A fire broke out on the hotel property and the assigned manager on duty was nowhere to be found. Efforts to locate her were futile. A guest pulled the fire alarm so we would all know about this fire. The front desk phone was ringing off the hook and this manager was absent from her post. All the guests evacuated into the front of the hotel, not knowing whether we should stay or leave. We had to seek advice from the attending police officers and fire department about our safety in this situation. Clearly, the hotel’s security protocol for guests was violated. This ordeal endured for two hours at around 11:00 pm until 1:00 am. Once the fire was extinguished, I spoke with the young lady who had finally appeared at the front desk. She assured me that each of us guests would be refunded for our stay due to this inconvenience. The next morning when the head manager of the hotel arrived, she informed me that the fire was beyond her control and no refund was to be issued. I discussed with her that there had been no security protocol implemented during the fire incident, and all the guests had been traumatized by this. She rudely dismissed my concerns and told me “ We can’t be on duty 24/7. I have a life and kids to take care of.” I told her the hotel needed to take better responsibility for its management protocol. She was hostile and non cooperative and refusing.
I desire a full refund of my stay along with Marriott Bonvoy points for additional stays at another property.

When a fire broke out right outside the hotel, the manager on duty was nowhere to be found. None of the guests were provided directions as to how to remain safe. The guest protocol for security and safety was violated. When I discussed this with the main hotel manager, her response was “we can’t be on duty 24/7. We all have a life and families.” There was no attempt for the hotel to take responsibility for their lack of supervision and customer care during this crisis which occurred around midnight. All if the guests were miffed, traumatized and inconvenienced in this ordeal. I want my room refunded in full and complimentary Marriott Bonvoy points added to my account. This event was terribly mismanaged. Potentially litigious for each guest.

Very clean and modern room. Went during a snowstorm and the thermometer kept us nice and cozy. Pet friendly was a bonus.

We stayed two nights and both nights were very relaxing. The staff treated us amazing and breakfast was good.

Inconvenient location. Folks were nice at the hotel, but the location is far from anything one would want to visit.
