Nice places pictures are a bit deceptive though as part of the pool is used only for those getting treatments and the reception for the area is in the pool gym. Friendly staff

Wasnt to impressed with spa facilities as there wasn't a steam room. Also no onsite dinner which isnt very ideal. Room cosy and clean. I booked on hotel.com but its a bed & breakfast very odd!

It was a very pleasant stay very quiet. The reception staff were missing at times. There was no phone in the room, so no room service. The room was spacious but it needed a couple of tumblers for water. Or bottled water.

Very impressed with the service received - the staff were super helpful with arranging early and late check in. The value was brilliant for a comfortable, clean room with a wide range of breakfast options included as well as access to spa facilities. Would definitely stay again!

Booked because of swimming facilities as we have a 5 year old .swimming pool out of operation . Asked manager to call us on 2 occasions ,we still await a call not happy

This is not a hotel. The spa amenities are good and the room was nice, although had not been checked. However there was no bar after six oclock and no restaurant etc. We had to take a very expensive taxi into the local town. This was not made apparent on the expedia website, and for the money paid for the room (as the place was just a b and b), the cost was extortionate.

Did not arrive until 7.15 pm so very surprised at how quiet it was as there is nothing open after 7pm.Perfect if you are looking for peace and quiet in evenings/night.Room lovely and spacious,beds very comfortable and bedding beautifully soft.

Beautiful countryside accommodation. Very kind thoughtful team of staff from housekeeping to management. Ideal golfing break with added pool and gym etc. only downside is that food and drink stop at 7pm. Pub only 4 mins away was lovely though.

We booked this as we were forced to cancel another spa hotel after being informed late that their spa was not available for our visit. The place was beautiful, well renovated spacious accommodation on glorious golf course with views of the hills. The spa and gym were great and our first thought was that if they had a good restaurant rather than just a cafe/bar it would be the perfect place. We were more than pleasantly surprised though by the excellent breakfast and the nearby Trumpet Inn took more than adequate care of the evening meal. We were not at all disappointed by our change of plans, in fact we think we did so much better, wished we had stayed longer than one night but it was just an extra stop after an 8 day road trip to York and Edinburgh. Would recommend a stay here, particularly if you like a swim before breakfast.
