My stay was close to my job

Great value for money. 2 improvements would be to:
- have signage outside the hotel ie hotel name and point to entry
- sell cheap earplugs. The traffic is quite loud

First when I checked in I was told that the place was over booked there was no bed. In the night it was a little cold and I had to walk up the street to check if another motel could accommodate me, they were also booked out. So I had to sleep in a couch. My feet got cramped because I was taller than it. I left my juice and pastry in the fridge and when I was ready someone took my two drinks and ate two of my pastries. I was also insulated by the employee. My experience was just awful..

No towel, no blanket, nothing, and the bunkbed ladder is hard to access with bump head hanging down ceiling (HAVC) it’s dangerous to be up and down of the bed

Affordable place to stay, good location. Staff are respectful of your space and they keep thing clean. Just be respectful towards the staff as well and the Energy is reciprocated.

My stay at the LA Guest House was pleasant over all. It is a Hostel with the usual hostel accommodations. Clean, comfy, casual. International travelers prevailed. Host was polite and watchful. Most challenging was finding the place...it is set back from Century Blvd by a small brick fenced parking lot. It is in the west corner of the cross street and the entry is in the cross street. But Google Maps helped. Parking is street parking . It is possible, but watch for the signs indicating no overnight parking or only 2 hours for a quick trip to LAit was perfect. It is central to public transportation as well as the freeways. When we stay at a hotel we expect friendliness over style. This one had it in spades.

We saw the pictures and were super excited about what we were getting! Once we arrived we noticed things were not looking right. Those luggage lockers were rusted. When walking in the entire place was hot. No A/C and the rooms had no fans either not to mention that it says private bathroom. LIE. The bathroom we were told to use was being used by the whole house. There were ugly dirty signs in every room talking about ways to do things with cleanliness and yet the place was dirty. Bathroom had wet floors shower mats wire hanging under the newly installed hand dryer. Our room looked nothing like what the pictures here show. It was completely altered. We had a random dresser shoved in the corner not even properly placed bed with no blankets as shown. Simply a throw blanket and an extra sheet. We asked other guests if the air ever gets turned on and we were told no its like this all the time. There is little air upon entering the front door and thats it. We didnt even stay after checking in, we left a few hours to do stuff and came back to pick up our stuff and leave the keys and go to a hotel. Do not recommend if you want cleanliness, comfort, privacy, and actual cozy habitability.

I think the property was clean and the reviews i read i don't agree with. I was greeted by friendly staff who set my bed up with clean sheets and towel straight from the laundry.

The property seemed to operate as a transitional/rehabilitation/alternative housing. It appeared that the occupants reside at the facility

This was advertised as a "comfortable room for 3". It was the smallest room I have ever encountered and there were 3 double bunk beds crammed in. The only remaining floor space was taken up by resident’s baggage.
It also advertised that there were lockers available - there were no lockers available. There also did not seem to be a lock on the door, so any valuables left unattended would have seemingly been at risk.

Though the website said the desk was open 24 hours, when I got there around 1am no one was there to check me in, and all the beds were taken so I went and stayed somewhere else.

I brought a party favor to this hostel. Any chance for that party favor to be consumed was abolished by the phrase that's crazy talk. Aot of people who paid at the hostel are limited because that party favor was left on the table than spread for more than a week . The staff ensured the smell of the party favor at this hostel was more clean. The many days I paid to enjoy the hostel were dead ends, each dead end is the reminder that a possible outcome of my trip moved on to a better place, a better place to do the same or better with my party favor yet also with a greater force of energy.

After I stated, I am right in front of your face in a passive manner to a staff member having a discussion with a female. My understanding about what discussion I overheard from a staff member to a female sitting at a table, came correct because the staff member at the board using words with a female showed a very mild defense. The staff had shown his defense to my body with his worded instructional response to my statement. The staff straight forwardly messaged my face the following words: I am not talking directly to you about yourself whatsoever. If you talk to me as though I have been talking directly about you again I am going to slap your face and drag your ass off the bed bunk. I got hot in my face while I showed him the staff my inner strength while I showed a shake in my body while I was told to stay on my bed and shut my mouth. The same staff member later did return to the dining area to be heard as he stated, he is a rat and I guess he wanted to be stabbed and dragged off my bed bleeding. The term rat means getting off a charge upon information about someone else other than yourself and your own case or investigation about your own behavior.

There was no answer to any of the phone numbers. When trying to message property they didnt return message until 2 hours after I had inquired. Me and my partner had to sleep in the car for the night since we couldnt get another room nor did we have the money for the inconvenience.

They will take your money. Make sure your booking is correct. They stay over booking and crowded. And i was asked by one of the employees why stay here why not go get a hotel. Thats not professional and he stays there. It was offensive people stay where they can afford to stay. Also where they are comfortable so just be mindful when choosing.

This property shouldn't be on Expedia nor any other platform. It is what it is, a house with a lot of beds for people who don't have anywhere else to go (probably homeless people). I mean it's fine and I suppose that in California this is the cheapest that you can get, but you're gonna have a hard time. There's no one at front desk and you'll be lucky if they send you the door keypad code. I arrived at 1 am and I found a guy outside because they didn't give him the acces code, luckily I had it because Expedia contacted the property 3 days before my check in, and when we finally managed to enter there was no room available, and there was even people sleeping on the floor. Such a mess!

Was so great and peaceful. Got the rest I needed. I reserved for only one day to check it out. My only disappointment was I could not extend the visit. Was filled the next day.
