Appauling customer service , rooms noisy and like living in a prison cell , concrete walls no covering and metal shelving . Took money for breakfast which was booked as free breakfast , staff untrained and unpleasent .

The staff were friendly & welcoming, the hotel was mostly clean but some areas of the room had been poorly cleaned.
My issue is with the decor of the room. Bare concrete walls are not conducive to a welcoming, comfortable stay, no matter what artistic crap reason you give for stinting on the decorating.
The lighting was dingy & swallowed by the heavy, dark walls. Coupled with the extremely small size of the room it felt like a prison cell.
It's a shame as the bathroom was great & the staff really lovely. It's definitely put me off returning here.

Great hotel happy to use again......no views as in the middle of an industrial estate

Rooms are adequately sized

Unfortunate that check in is from 3 but when we arrived after 4.30 our room wasn’t ready. Booked a twin room as needed two separate beds but the two beds were pushed together in the room which defeats the purpose of twin beds.

Fantastic stay. Nana, Colleen, Josie were superb. Very helpful and accommodating- thank you

The only complaint was out shower fan was very loud and wouldn’t turn off.

Friendly staff, clean basic rooms, nice and quiet, no banging doors etc .
Breakfast was a bit of a shambles. Limited choices plus everything constantly running out. Lots of hanging around waiting for the missing items to be brought out. Gave up waiting for bread for toast. After 15 minutes one loaf of bread was brought out, and by the time I got there that had gone.
Just needs more staff (the existing staff were doing their best) and better organising. The food when it was available was ok, but nothing special.

One night stop over en route to Cornwall.
Clean tidy hotel close to motorway, perfect for 1 night but rather soulless. Breakfast adequate.

Stop off on way to Devon, excellent stay

Lovely hotel, very close to M5, superb front of house staff, very pet-friendly, nice bar and outside seating area. Very clean, comfy bed, big pillows, good shower. The only thing that brings down our score was the unexpected visitors who came into our room at 8:45am, despite us not having checked out. That process needs looking into.

Clean and modern, with a convenient location for travelling as just off the M5. Staff slow to respond at dinner, breakfast and no show at check-out, but otherwise we had a good stay.

We use the hotel as a half way stop from the North West to Cornwall every year. It has nice, new co-joined rooms for us and the kids, a decent breakfast and we don't have to drive far out of the way to get there. We don't stay long and it is always a very pleasant stay. It's excellent for the price.

On arrival the hotel looked nice, with a clean mordern look lobby and bar area, but we were soon hit with an £18 parking charge to use the car park, which we knew nothing about and is not in the hotel description. When we got to our room, it was a big surprise as it was like a prison cell from a movie. The walls were apparently polished concrete with no decoration or paint at all. They looked and were very cold and the furniture also looked like prison issue cheap black metal frame with a childs desk stool as bedside tables. Only one light worked and that was in the bathroom and the window would not open. It was pretty much a prison experience when we were in our room, and not nice. After paying for £18 for parking, we popped out to pick up some things and came back to no parking spaces left and cars dumped everywhere and up the road. However the bar had beer and thats why I've given and sort of star rating

Bare concrete wall in the room, like staying in a prison cell.
Booked hotel with parking filter when arrived I had to pay extra for parking, hotel was not city centre but on a business park with own car park

It was ok for a budget hotel but golly, the staff tried so hard to make it a pleasant experience. They made the stay into a very good one. So, thanks Ibis team, you were fantastic!

The room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable. However, the bathroom and the bedroom itself was dirty. Dirty marks left on the shower walls and the walls of the bedroom. Could hear the noise from other bedroom when they use the bathroom - water movement.
