Cold room ~ spent half of my one night special treat away (where I was hoping to relax) communicating with staff about the cold room and sorting the thermostat. Room was nice but didn’t smell fresh and clean. Think someone had been smoking in there or the upholstery wasn’t clean?
The bed was comfy !

Our stay was a beautiful experience, the room is so well designed and made our stay extra special.

Front desk staff (a lady was rude) and unhelpful.
My room
Was never cleaned in 3 days
Fire alarm going off constantly
Parking fee was not clear and costly.

Out of town from Cambridge but easy to get in on the bus. A trendy and clean establishment but our room was tired and unloved with a number of minor faults, suggesting a lack of care or monitoring of the condition of the rooms (Shower door didn't fit, cooker hood didn't work, a sliding partition in the bedroom was stuck and one of the kitchen cupboard doors wouldn't close). All of these should have been checked and repaired before letting the room.
We paid for a terrace but couldn't sit out, despite mild weather, because seat cushions had been left out in the rain and were soaked through - why not keep them indoors?

stayed for 2 nites. this is one of the best place for my trip to Europe. Robyn at the counter treated us very well and helped us to reslove my issue. she is a lovely person and and have a good memory. the room is clean and room is spacious. check in and out is fast. love this place and will come back on my next trip.

A bot soulless. No good signage for the front.
Breakfast not included and poor - only three staff who could not cope. Cooked breakfast cold in containers.

Wonderful apartment in a new area of Cambridge Bed was comfy. Apartment nicely laid out.

The accommodation was first class. Staff were also efficient friendly and helpful. Location and facilities excellent. Large supermarket within 5 minutes walk. Finding the entrance to the hotel was difficult and more signage on the road and complex would help. Also a contact telephone number on the booking details. But these are all minor issues that did not detract from the pleasantness of our stay. A hotel with a vibrant service orientated atmosphere.

The apartment was spacious with a balcony that was accessible from all 3 rooms and a view of a nice green garden. There was a washing machine. It is a newly developing area. There is a Sainsbury and 2 restaurants close by.
Our main dissatisfaction is because the advertising of this place on Expedia is misleading. The listing said there would be two bathrooms, but there was only one, and the check-in just informed us “the listing was wrong” and didn’t provide any apology or refund. I talked to Expedia later on to get some refund. This place is also advertised as “airconditioned“ but air conditioning was only installed in one of the 3 rooms.
The upkeep of this apartment is not good. The carpets looked shabby. The terrace which was a nice feature was unusable as it had cobwebs and dead insects in many places. When we came in the dishwasher was broken, and there was food still crusted on utensils and tabletops. We asked for a week of dishwasher pods for our 8 night stay, but reception told us they “can’t” and we would have to come down every few days to ask for more. When we asked them to fix it the broken dishwasher, it took hours and several reminders to send anyone. It was more work staying here than it’s worth. While it is advertised as a clean space suitable for long stays, it doesn’t quite measure up. I felt that some of the frontdesk staffs were well-trained while others were not. The stove and microwave (SMEG brand) was weird -we needed instructions to operate.

I really enjoyed my stay at your hotel. It was very quiet and comfortable. The only hiccup that I had was that whenever I called the front desk, they couldn’t hear me.

Turing Locke was a fantastic place to stay for a weekend getaway to Cambridge. My partner and I stayed there for 3 nights and found it to be spacious, comfortable and clean. We frequently used nearby voi bikes to get into Cambridge and used the bus on a number of occasions as well - these transport options meant that it was reasonably accessible to get into the city. There is a Sainsburys about 2 minutes away from the accomodation which allowed us to cook all of our meals as our room had a kitchenette. 5/5 would stay again.

Was really reat experience at first, solo travel to visit cambridge, accessible room, looked cute and clean - until morning when I went to shower and was locked in my bathroom as handle was broken, not great when travelling alone but thankfully I was in an accessible room with alarms in bathroom to get attention for help. Overall staff were polite, helpful and friendly, the hotel seems ok, cute decor and modern but my stay was made difficult as a solo traveller due to room defect.

Nice and big room space, very comfortable. Basement parking option is 15 GBP per night, good and safe place to stay that near Cambridge.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The grounds of the hotel were lush and beautiful. My room was clean and comfortable with everything I needed.

My first time at an aparthotel, so wasn't quite sure what to expect in the way of maintenance & cleaning, but everything was just as simple as a high quality hotel room, but with a fully fitted kitchen as a bonus.
A great base for nipping into town, with the park & ride bus station an easy 15 minute walk away & Sainsbury's just round the corner for supplies if you're staying a while. The restaurant across the square is also well worth a visit.
My only real gripes would be the poor signage from the carpark to reception (there are maps on the path, but as all the blocks look the same it's difficult to get your bearings) & the seemingly endless walk on carpets from The Shining to get to the room.

Nice large space for 4 people. It was 20 min from the city center and the U1 and U2 bus nearby was very convenient. However, they are not free - Turing Locke only provides one 24-hr travel pass.

Fair room let down by a few small issues. Aircon not working and wasn’t attended to after requesting. Coffee mugs and accessories but no teaspoons. Room size is good but a weird configuration. I wasn’t able to get anything to eat even at 7.30pm. Pizzas ran out on the roofbar, the main restaurant wasn’t allowing anyone in as they claimed they were full (but I saw only half) and then I eventually ate at Dutch outside. Awful food and shocking to charge £13 for 3 small tacos
Good for a night or two but there are nicer options like the Hyatt next door.

Fantastic 3 night stay in an amazing hotel. Our room was really a flat with everything you could need for a comfortable stay even a dishwasher and washing machine. Great design and we had a lovely stay and I would highly recommend it. Prices pretty reasonable too. About a 25 minute walk from town centre Only down side was the parking which was bit (bit pricey)

Great experience. The property was well decorated with some great dining options within the property.

The hotel was all you could ask for, clean modern, sustainable. Really well located just outside of Cambridge with excellent links. The area around the hotel was very clean and tidy with many local amenities minutes away.
The bar belonging to the hotel “Dutch” was lovely with a chilled out outside area and great staff. HOWEVER, and I only realised when I get home that we had been over charged for some drinks we didn’t have. I have tried to contact the bar direct but have been blanked. A real shame, but would return, but would be more careful when checking the bar tab!

This is the greatest place to live. It has everything you need if you want to cook yourself. It has a wonderful kitchen. There is a grocery store nearby. The buses go to Cambridge are very convenient.

Aircon had been left on ahead of arrival, so the room felt very cold and took ages to warm up after turning off.
Another building overlooked the living area. I would have appreciated a sheer curtain, as I could see straight across into people's homes, but the only option was a blackout curtain.
I stayed 4 nights, by which point I had run out of toilet paper and hand soap, and the bins were completely full, but there was no cleaning or replenishing of items during my stay.
Combi microwave oven awkward to use. I had to search for manuals; it would have been good to have the correct printed manuals to hand in the room.
On one of the mornings, the fire alarm went off at 7.30am a.m. repeatedly for what felt like half an hour. Reception said that the chef burned breakfast and that the alarm wouldn't stop sounding until smoke had dispersed. It seems strange that the alarm couldn't be reset if it wasn't an emergency. I was also surprised that I had to use my room card to unlock the door to the fire escape stairs. If it had been a real fire with people in a rush that could prove dangerous, a fire exit should always be easily accessible in an emergency.
I liked the style of the room, and the studio was a good size, but parts are starting to look worn.

Some good bits, but check in experience was rubbish. Stood at front desk being ignored for 10 minutes while only staff member slowly dealt with a courier instead of us. Then the process of checking in itself seemed to be very slow – particularly paying for parking. Definitely more staff needed, and IT system seemed to be slow on the uptake. Self check-in desks were switched off when we arrived.
Hotel itself is otherwise okay. Nicely designed rooms, but starting to feel a bit tired now. Everything could do with a good clean: dirty rug, floors, sofa, kitchen sink and taps. Air conditioning didn't seem to cool anything down, so gave up and opened the terrace door instead. Fire alarm went off (about 5 times) at 7:30AM and didn't stop until 8.
On the upside, wifi was great!

No slippers for an 4 star hotel is quite disappointing, and it took really long to just get our cards to approve to work at the gym.
No parking available which was very inconvenient.

I've stayed in a few different Locke locations and thought I would give Turing Locke a try for my birthday weekend. I was disappointed to find the cleaning standards have gone down hill. The terrace room I stayed in was not clean, the kitchen counter and tea towels provided were dirty, there was a build up of cob webs by the windows and the terrace was not well maintained, the plants was overgrown and the seating was badly stained. Nothing that can't be improved.

A very convenient hotel with all the necessary bits and pieces. My only downside is the parking charges which i was not aware of and the restrictions during school times to access the hotel

Excellent aparthotel exceeded our expectations! Clever design, beautiful layout of the rooms giving you everything you need and more for your money. Well worth it! Staff are friendly and accommodating. Restaurant, bar and supermarket on the door step. It is also a Short Uber or drive into the centre of Cambridge.
