Totally enjoyed our time at the coast! Stimulus bakery, Pelican brewery and Breakfast burritos were all within walking distance, as was the beach! The dogs and we went daily to the beach where they practiced ball retrieval, escaping waves and chasing birds that were never caught! Wonderful vacation!

I don't normally write reviews, but this one feels important.
We recently stayed at Nautical By Nature, booked through Meredith Lodging, and were extremely disappointed with our experience. The home was very cute! But the listing indicated that the property included access to a pool and gym. The pool was a key reason for our booking. However, upon arrival, we discovered that these amenities did not exist. We inquired about the pool when we booked on June 15 and again on the first day of our stay, August 12, but did not receive a response until August 14, which was day three of our trip, saying that there wasn't a pool (or gym). This felt like a bait-and-switch situation.
We specifically chose this property to teach our daughter to swim, so this misrepresentation caused significant inconvenience. Additionally, we experienced issues with the keyless entry system, resulting in us being locked out of the property with no prompt assistance from the management.
Given the high rate we paid for our four-night stay, the lack of amenities, and the poor communication, I cannot recommend this property. The experience left us feeling frustrated and disappointed.

Clean, good location, would stay again. thanks.

You can tell the owners of the home took great lengths in providing a fun, cool Experience from a hip hop , good music and high end decor stance. The home was absolutely lovely and great for a January stormy weekend.
The only feedback would be for the property management to heighten their standards around cleanliness. There was quite a bit of dog hairs residual on the floors and kitchen countertops.
We also had to rewash all the bedding and towels due to a mildew sour smell that took over the house when we walked in.

This home is beautiful - very clean & cozy. Comfortable beds & quality linens. Well- equipped kitchen, just bring your own oils & spices if you want to cook. We enjoyed the turntable after picking up some vinyl in Lincoln City. The property owner has great taste in music too, with a number of albums to enjoy.
Short walk to the beach & stunning views, especially at sunset. Also an easy walk to a quaint grocery store, friendly wine tasting room & awesome coffee shop, Stimulus.
Highly recommend!

This is a darling home located walking distance to the beach. We had a great time on the beach and found the home to be very comfortable, cheerful and inviting. We loved the decor and layout of the home and we'll look forward to our next stay at Cape Kiwanda.

This place has everything, and it's close to everything. My family and I enjoyed this cute and themed place for a Birthday weekend.

We love good design and a great kitchen. Luckily for our stay, we had both of those things! The design details were so fun. The space was perfect for our family. We cooked, relaxed, and went for many walks on the beach. Close to good beer (Pelican) and delicious food (we ate out one night at Meridian- the restaurant at Headlands). Everything was wonderful and easy. We’ll definitely be back!

Please note: there were some hiccups with this property - at the time that I booked, and still at the time that I am writing this review, the title of this property reads "Cheerful Modern Beauty has Walkable Pool, Gym and Beach Access". Unfortunately, upon reaching out to the property manager, I found out that there is no pool or gym access associated with this property at all. That was one of the main reasons I made the booking, as we wanted access to a pool, so that was a disappointment. Whoever manages this property really needs to update the listing description.
All that being said, we did end up staying here regardless, and everything else was as described. I stayed with my husband, our 3 year old son, my parents, and two dogs. It's a beautiful home, and very well appointed - it rained a lot while we were there, so we had dance parties with our son around the record player, and loved the amenities in the kitchen (very nice cookware, including tools for shucking oysters and crab leg crackers).
My son and dogs loved walking around the paths in Shorepine Village, and there was easy access to the beach, with tide pools about a 10-15 minute walk away down the beach. Fair warning, going down the dune to the beach was definitely tricky for my parents, who had a hard time with it. The beach is stunning, though!

We had such a lovely stay at this cozy, thoughtfully and creatively designed, well-appointed home. It had everything we needed and went well beyond the bare minimum that many rental homes offer. We especially enjoyed using the well-stocked kitchen while playing albums on the stereo. The open floor plan downstairs was great and the beds upstairs were comfy. It's only a short walk from the front door to the ocean. If you don't feel like climbing down the little dune to the water, a left turn at the top of the ramp leads to an area where you can sit and take in one of the best views around! Highly recommend this property!

We had a great time at the property. Quick easy access to downtown. I do wish the access to the beach was easier from this area but that's not the property's problem.
We'd love to know the artist of the dog art in the stairwell.
Thanks for a great time!

We really enjoyed our stay, along with our two little dogs. Everything was very clean and well kept, and we enjoyed the funky decor as well as the eclectic record collection. The kitchen had everything we needed, from pans and utensils to a few pantry staples and basic spices. Would love to stay again!

Love the decor!! And so close to the beach. Kitchen well stocked with nice kitchenware. You can tell a lot of thought went in to making this house comfortable. Definitely want to stay here again.

The house was so clean and the furniture well maintained it felt like we were the first people to ever stay here, and the amenities in the kitchen and bathroom were hotel-quality. Loved the fun personality of the decor - made it feel like we were staying at a friend's house instead of 'the standard' beach house full of sea shells and drift wood. Convenient to the beach and shops, I will absolutely stay here again!

A friend and I stayed with my dog for 2 nights and felt right at home. They not only had everything you needed to cook meals, but top quality appliances and supplies. The place is so cozy and the location is walking distance to beach, coffee, groceries, and restaurants - all while feeling safe. Their property team was accessible anytime by phone.
Only issues were:
1. The fireplace was not operable (while being one of the reasons we booked this listing)
2. There was a very bad smell the entire stay. The listing team was attentive and had maintenance check it out when we called. Unfortunately it wasn't resolved by the time we checked out.

The fun decor, fantastic album collection, a well equipped kitchen, uber comfy furniture and even beds for the dog in each room made this a choice we didn’t regret! Walking distance to what matters, the beach and the Pelican. Hope to be back!

Lots of nice appliances, well decorated excellent walking paths, tons of windows bringing in lots of light. This was a disappointment.
Could use a hand mirror in each bath. It would be nice to have a clock upstairs.
Overall, we had a great time. We would recommend it and would rerent ourselves
Steep stairs to 2nd floor. The bathrooms were convenient but both were not well lit. Fireplace was broken. This was a disapointment.
Overall we had a nice time especially waliking and getting on the neach.

This cute home had the best vacay vibes…fun colors, finishes, decor. I want the name of the designer who outfitted this house…,
To top it off, the home had everything we needed and more - extremely well appointed. The kitchen had every possible gadget, cooking device you could desire. I happily hand washed the pots and pans and wood handled knives…a very reasonable owner request.
Note to prospective renters, the facility gym is closed currently due to COVID restrictions. And, I believe a pool access was part of the property description? I don’t believe there is a pool?
Amazingly fun property….we appreciated our stay!
