However we recommend it

Exactly at the centre of the ancient city, so traditional and atmospheric! The Italian breakfast at the room was perfect! Coffee machine at the room…

The main door was something like shutters and windows… the windows had lockers but the shutters no, so easily someone could open by the road and see us in the room

Indimenticabile tornerei davvero più che volentieri in questa struttura

Tutto . Pulitissima , organizzatissima , posizione ottima bagno grande spazioso con tutti i gadget e i servizi da bagno come crema sapone cuffie da doccia , letto spaziosissimo , possibilità anche di creare il buio chiudenti porta e tende . Indimenticabile Grazie anche alla signora Maria Luisa che è stata gentilissima sia nelle indicazioni che nel fornirci tutte le informazioni per check in , ristoranti , tour della città . Davvero indimenticabile

Atmosphärische Unterkunft mitten in der Altstadt von Matera -sehr zu empfehlen

Das Zimmer (im Erdgeschoss) war einfach toll, mit richtigem Höhlenflair! Es liegt in einem Hinterhof, der nicht von Touristen besucht wird. Man hat also seine Ruhe. Man konnte sich nach draußen setzen und dort den Abend genießen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichlich. Man musste es sich teilweise oben abholen, aber es war dadurch alles frisch vom Bäcker. Man ist mitten in der Altstadt und kann von dort aus alle Ecken von Matera erkunden. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben.

Beautiful apartmant in the sassi, wonderful experience. We were taken care of from the start, help with parking, great advice on dinner. We found refreshing drinks in the fridge, fresh and still hot cornettos for breakfast.

Magiczne miejsce!

Piękny, klimatyczny, przestronny apartament w magicznym miejscu. Pomocna obsługa. Smaczne śniadanie dostarczone pod same drzwi. Genialny taras na dachu z niezapomnianym widokiem!

Vistas espectaculares!!!!

El departamento es muy grande y cómodo. La terraza tiene una vistas espectaculares hacia Sassi. Toda esta zona es impresionante, y la iluminación de noche es fantástica.

Sfiora la perfezione.

Tutto. Avevamo un appartamento per 6 persone ed é realmente molto bello e molto ben curato. É ben equipaggiato. Mettono a disposizione una colazione completa come poche volte ho visto in un appartamento turistico. Sfiora la perfezione.

Fantastica location da sogno

La posizione eccellente in mezzo si sassi, invidiabile in inverno con pochissima gente Casa grande con cucina nuovissima e attrezzata, frigo, ampio soggiorno, bagno grande. Una pace assoluta

Forse la colazione non alla altezza della casa, aggiungerei qualche prodotto fresco. In ogni caso sufficiente.

Nel cuore dei Sassi.

Camera in grotta molto suggestiva. Comoda, pulitissima, silenziosa e sopratutto nel cuore del Sasso Barisano... A pochi gradini dal Duomo. Ottimo rapoorto qualità prezzo.

Aggiungerei solo un doppio cuscino.

Weekend al top

Un bellissimo weekend in una città dei sassi UNICA al mondo. La nostra location era nel centro del Sasso Barisano, camera tipica del Sasso, ben arredata, ottimo il bagno. La colazione va un pò perfezionata ma il frigo era pieno ogni piccola tentazione.

L’emplacement est exceptionnel

Idéalement situé ! Une vue exceptionnelle ! La terrasse sur le toit est un plus de chez plus !

Le lit et le convertible dans la même pièce … sans grande séparation ! Le petit déjeuner pas top ! Pas de carte pour choisir si sucré ou salé … on devrait nous proposer un chois . Cela a été un gâchis de laisser les croissants au jambon .

Fantastic location and comfortable beds.

Great location, the bed is really comfortable, the apartment is really spacious, they provide the daily cleaning services and deliver the breakfast to the apartment every morning. The host lady is really helpful with all the guides around.

The floor of the apartment needs clean properly and the kitchen need more appliances.

Smack in the middle of old Matera.

The location is central, as in, in the old part. However, if you have mobility issues or you’re elderly, this isn’t the place for you. One of the rooms was ground floor and it only had a glass door, so practically, people could open the louvers and watch you sleep . .

Exceptional

Everything. The apartment was bigger than i expected. It's well renovated and well maintained. All the funiture and cutlery looks quite new. Terrace on the top floor was amazing. It was the maybe the best feature of this apartment. Breakfast was delivered to the room in the morning so it was good to have it in the terrace looking at the view of Matera. There's also small balcony with small table facing the main street.

The location, amazing view from the balcony and terrace, the breakfast and the helpful cleaning ladies (everyday they visit you to check if you need smtg)

As the house is in a very central location especially at the weekends there is a lot of noise is coming from the streets and bars. We didn’t have a problem but if you are sensitive about falling asleep its something to keep in mind.

The room was stunning and the view spectacular. Maria was very helpful before and after check in.

I shouldn’t have brought so much luggage with all the steps but that’s my fault not the accommodation 😉

Amazing location with fantastic view from the roof. Very comfortable beds.

The lady who welcomed us was nice but she was in a hurry, constantly answering the phones from other tourists. We didn’t have much time to ask questions or have a chat on recommendations.

Rude staff, damp smelling cave room, okay for one night

Breakfast was good with some croissants and small focaccia, coffee machine worked well, also provided juices, milk and water. Was very cool to sleep in a cave. Location was central.

Thought we would have access to terrace, but turns out with the cave room we don’t get access, and room was on ground level down an alley and very dark. Unfortunately the room smelt like damp and mould the whole time, didn’t really feel comfortable sleeping there but as it was only one night tolerable. Room floors felt not fully cleaned. Hot water didn’t last long. Check-in staff was rude and condescending on the phone, not able to meet at the planned time, then when we walked to the property address from booking.com and Google maps, we couldn’t find it and she was condescending asking why we would go there when she told us a different address to collect our luggage from. Please be aware the address of the accommodation is not what is on Google maps or advertised.

A view from the roof was stunning, and the owner/staff was nice!

Since you can’t bring a car to this historic site during check in hour, it takes time to find the property with all the big luggages.

Wonderful location/terrace, with some improvements to be made!

location, terrace is amazing, design of the apartment, independent checkin, welcome water bottle and coffee for breakfast

mattress of the double bed on the forst floor not so comfy, absence of wine glasses (just plastic glasses) and corkscrew that given the terrace is a pity..breakfast at a bar close by (poor service, almost rude personnel, water not included).

If you want to stay in the heart of Sassi, you should try this apartment. The rooms are large, clean and the rooftop terrace is great. The property offers a light breakfast at a coffee shop nearby.
