Hilaria Heights Cabin💥 a 6-bedroom, 5-bath haven in a breathtaking location 🌄, less than five minutes to town, restaurants, brewery, hiking and biking trails! This cabin is located on a paved road and boasting a level entry with a king bedroom (a rarity in this area!) Hilaria Heights has been thoughtfully designed and updated to serve as the perfect post-adventure retreat.
Grab your family AND friends, because there's room for everyone here! Hilaria Heights features three levels and two decks, surrounded by expansive sky, a lush tree canopy in the summer, and sweeping mountain views come fall. Take in a gorgeous mountain sunrise, whip up a delicious dinner in our fully-stocked kitchen, or relax in front of the wood burning fireplace. Send the kids downstairs to play foosball, shuffle board, play a board game (we have a bunch!) and hang out in their own space. They can even grab snacks from the lower-level kitchenette! Then, toast s'mores on the deck's fire pit under a banner of stars. Rest and repeat–with 3 king rooms, 2 queen, and a bunk room, sweet dreams are certainly in your future! One of our king rooms and bath is on the entry level, making Hilaria Heights an ideal choice for guests who may not be as mobile. We are also one of the few Beech Mountain properties with AC (a mini split upstairs and in the basement), making it easy to stay cool! We also have high speed Wi-Fi internet and a dedicated workspace, in case a need to work arises, but we hope not.
Our Business (Response) Hours: 8am EST / 7am CST - 8pm EST / 7pm CST 7 days per week
Spend your days experiencing all that Beech Mountain has to offer–in the winter, that's skiing, skating, or snow-tubing at the resort (just a stone's throw away and easily accessible), and sledding at Beech's famous in-town sledding hill. During spring, summer, and fall, enjoy endless hikes (some right outside our door!), downhill mountain biking, restaurants, concerts, shopping, breweries, wineries, and antiquing.
Other notes
We have a wood burning fireplace - wood provided. Guests are responsible if additional wood needed.
We also have a propane gas tank for BBQ and fire pit, but guests are responsible to exchange gas tank if gas runs out.
The weather in Beech can change quickly. If you are visiting in December, January, or February - and sometimes in early March - please check the weather on your way up. If the lights are flashing on the base of the mountain, use great care. Winter is a time in which local authorities recommend 4WD or snow chains. If the weather is poor, we ask that you wait until it clears to make the ascent. The Town of Beech does an excellent job clearing the parkway - just be patient. Unfortunately we do not offer refunds for inclement weather.

The house was perfect for a large family of 12. The separate living spaces on each of the three floors was ideal. Proximity to Oz and skiing and town is great.

We LOVED our stay. The house worked perfectly for our friends group of 10 people. We had plenty of room for everyone to gather in the kitchen and living room area. The weather was not great on Saturday so it was a nice day to just hang out and play games.

For our 3rd annual family fun weekend, the 11 of us came to Beech Mountain. We had a blast! The house was great, clean, organized and a wonderful view. It was cozy and spacious at the same time. The entire process was smooth. Eunice is wonderful and answered questions quickly.
The location is perfect. Three of the “littles” and their parents had a wonderful ski day - skiing is SO close.
We had wonderful family time around the fire. From under 2 to 70+ this beautiful home has it all. It is generously stocked with necessities and nice touches - we enjoyed not having to strip the beds.
Thank you for a fantasic retreat!

We stayed at Hilaria Heights for a family weekend getaway and it was just as described on VRBO. The house was clean, the host was great at communication, and we had the perfect stay. The family room, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were all as described, and the views off the back porch were amazing. Because I wasn't familiar with the area, I asked the host for suggestions on hikes and activities nearby and she was very helpful. We loved every minute at the cabin and will definitely book it again if ever in the Beech Mountain area. Highly recommend.

We had a really fun stay with a large group of friends and babies! We hopped over from Johnson City & spent a weekend playing games and hanging out.
The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, and the cabin was just as described! Eunice communicated well and answered my questions up through the checkin process, but I did not get replies on my two separate emails that I sent during our stay. We ran into just a few issues- the grill ran out of propane mid-grill so we had to move our meat inside. We didn’t think to check it prior to grilling, so we did not know it was empty. The fire pit table also had no propane in it so we did not get to use it. There were a couple of nails sticking out on the staircase that two separate friends stepped on. There was also an active leak in the second floor bathroom ceiling that I emailed Eunice about. None of this ruined our stay, but I did find it odd that I never got responses when I notified Eunice of these issues.
We enjoyed our stay and are grateful to have had a clean and comfortable place to spend a weekend with friends!

Eunice was a great host, she kept us updated with the storm that was going on in the area, and let us do a late check out due to the roads, also loved how clear she was with her expectations for check in and check out, was a beautiful experience, definitely would stay there again!

The house was very clean and nicely maintained. All our friends and families enjoyed staying at this location. the location is excellent (just 0.5 miles to the Skylift for Beech mountain) and the view from the house deck is just awesome! Eunice is a great host and very accommodating to the requests we made during our stay. Will definitely stay again and plan to return next year. The kitchen was well stocked with condiments, utensils, paper towels, trash bags, Dishwasher pods, etc... Great Wifi speed and Roku TVs in all bedrooms and living rooms. The welcome basket was a nice touch..Kids enjoyed the Foosball table, Zenga and other games, and bunk beds in the basement.

We had a very pleasant stay at this rental. The house was clean and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen had everything we needed. The level entry was a big plus with loading/unloading cars and elderly guests not having to climb stairs to the front door. Everyone had a nice, relaxing time!
