4 minutes/1.2 miles to Beech Mountain Ski Resort!

Step inside and you'll find a spacious living room and flat screen Smart TV with ample seating for all guests. The fully stocked kitchen includes both a Keurig and Drip Coffee maker, ensuring you have your favorite brews each morning. The dining room can comfortably seat 12, with an additional 2 barstools for extra seating. Step into our stylishly furnished movie room, perfect for cozying up and enjoying your favorite films.
The washer and dryer, complete with a sink, make it convenient to keep your clothes fresh and clean during your stay.

Outside, you'll discover a private paradise. Relax by the fire pit, sipping on drinks while enjoying the panoramic views. Cook up a storm on the BBQ grill and dine alfresco in the outdoor seating area, with chairs and loungers to soak up the sun!

For those looking to explore the great outdoors, you're in luck. The property is conveniently located just 1.3 miles from the Beech Mountain resort ski slopes. Additionally, within a 5-minute drive, you'll find plenty of hiking trails, including the Emerald Outback, Backbone Trail, Pride Rock, and Perry Park, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts.

We are dog friendly! Dogs are allowed for $125 per stay (applies to max of 2 pets)

When it's time to unwind, head over to the famous Beech Mountain Brewing Co, and discover local flavors and craft beers just 4 minutes away. And if you're a wine lover, be sure to visit Eagles Nest Winery, only a 10-minute drive, or Banner Elk Winery, just 15 minutes away.

BEDROOM CONFIGURATION
On the main floor, you'll find a comfortable queen bedroom. Downstairs, there is a king bedroom with a private deck and an ensuite bathroom for added privacy. Additionally, there are two more queen bedrooms and a bedroom with two queen beds. Additionally, there is a bedroom with two twin beds and a pull-out sofa in the common area.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire house (via a digital keypad) minus the locked owners closet.

Getting Around:
4WD Recommended during inclement weather

Other Things to Note:
Dogs are allowed for $125 per stay (up to 2 dogs included)
Per The City of Beech Mountain we can only have 3 cars parked
Make sure to dispose of trash properly in the bear safe bin.
Fireplace is turned off from April to October

We partner with SUPERHOG for our guest screening process. The SUPERHOG application must be completed by the primary guest listed on the reservation, and the background check must be finalized within 48 hours of booking confirmation, in compliance with State and City regulations. Please note, your booking is NOT confirmed until these requirements are fulfilled.
Once confirmed, and prior to check-in, guests are required to sign a Rental Agreement that outlines the terms of the stay, which includes agreeing to the following:

-Abide by our rental terms and conditions.
-Provide a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card before check-in.
-Pay a non-refundable $50 damage waiver through SUPERHOG.
This damage waiver covers accidental damage during your stay. Please note, any damage incurred must be reported during your stay to ensure coverage by the waiver.

The location of this property is amazing. The views and back porch are outstanding. We spent a lot of time on the porch- it faces west so there are amazing sunsets. It was spacious, easily accommodated party of 10. Movie room and arcade games were a hit. We would stay here again, with a few changes. The property is clearly run by a management company, not an individual. Had to call at time of check in as we were not sent an entrance code. Cleanliness: Overall, it did not feel dirty. We had some sheets and towels that were stained and needed to be changed. Some of the dishes had to be washed before use. The kitchen was not stocked with kitchen towels, making it difficult to process all the dishes from feeding 10 people. We did have to request additional towels, as there were only 10 available upon arrival, not nearly enough to accommodate out party for 4 nights. The company did need to come to the property to supply extras that were in a locked cabinet on the property. When we arrived, there were multiple bags of trash on the porch that needed to be removed. They had also been plundered by wildlife, particularly worrisome with the possibility of bears in the area. They were promptly removed on request. I will say this: While this was the most I had to communicate with a host, they accommodated most requests very promptly. The one exception was with a final request for a late checkout, which was not at all answered despite multiple attempts.

The house itself is beautiful and had everything a group of 12 needed. Property wise it is on the side of a mountain, so if you’re afraid of heights you may want to rethink the location. The drive up felt as if you were scaling the mountain itself at times. Parking is tight for 3 cars. We had a truck, suv and crossover and not much room to get in or out. The heating in the house could use a little more explaining as we were either too cold or sweating at times. The overall the booking process was fine and location was very pretty, but when it says located near ski resort, you’re pretty much AT the resort…not far from it. Temperature is about 20 degrees different from the bottom of the mountain to where the home actually is. Our group would book this home agains, just use different cars to get to it and pack for the weather differences a little better.

This is a great location and great potential mountain home. Unfortunately the upkeep has been a bit on the cheap. The hot tub was not working our entire stay - granted some of our stay had inclement weather. Storm doors were broken (actually led to an accidental leg injury requiring a visit to ortho the following week) Furniture was rather cheap although it looks nice in photos. The dining table was half put together and more that one dining chair was already falling apart. There’s a gas fireplace in the living room which is nice but there was no information (and management was unable to help) on if it is vented or ventless. We opened the damper to be safe but I could see how someone with no knowledge could run the fireplace with the damper closed. There were not fire or carbon monoxide detectors that I could find. This all struck me as a real safety hazard for guests coming to stay with no background on this type of thing. The master bed was comfortable. The kitchen was not lacking. The location is excellent with the view and accessibility to ski. The management person was quickly responsive to emails but nothing (most importantly the deck hot tub) was addressed during our stay. We still enjoyed our stay. There’s tons of space if you have a large group and the view is great. We booked at a time when the price was reasonable so it’s okay… I would have been much more dissatisfied had we paid more of a premium price. The property needs some work.
