I waited two weeks to write this review, trying to give propert management company every chance to make this right. They didn't, so here is what future renters need to know. Note, I have used VRBOS for over 10 years, this is my first bad review. The house is in an unsafe neighborhood, booming music from drivebys all night (and the primary bedroom faces the street). There are ants - when I contacted management I got an "auto response" that they would address it immediately. They did not follow up, and the next day when I called they said "we've never had ants" (so I sent a video of ants crawling on the countertop). Both my friend and I had malware on our PC (mine) or phone (hers)..."Click immediately, your computer has been compromised, call right away to unblock!!!". This freaked me out, so I called; property manager told me they checked and there was no malware yet they "want to make this right" and offered that if I wanted to leave, they would refund me all but one night back. I hadn't even asked for this but jumped at the chance. I had her text this to me so I'd have it in writing. I asked how long the refund (over $600) would take. She said 3 days. It has been two weeks. They have stopped responding to my texts (I check my card statement every day) so I gave up and filed a dispute with my credit card company.

In town for the bourbon trail. This location worked well for us and was exactly as advertised. Beds were very comfortable. Would recommend this property!

House was great! One issue with clogged drain was taken care of right away. Great communication. My only issue was the location. Kind of a sketch neighborhood even though description says “Location location location”.
But we did really appreciate that there wasn’t a ridiculous host fee charged like a lot of others we were looking at.

Lovely property close to the historic center of Lexington. We could do the Lincoln Lexington walking tour right from our front door and there are restaurants and bars within walking distance.
Easy drive to Keeneland racetrack and local horse farms.
The property is tastefully decorated with a very well equipped kitchen, off-road covered parking and small outdoor area.
We loved it.

Stayed here for graduation and it was exactly as presented. Clean, fully equipped kitchen. Easy clean up directions, washer/dryer in unit. Large bedrooms, very comfortable. Had one issue with wifi but host cleared it up very quickly. Would absolutely stay here again!

Somewhat sketchy immediate neighborhood and outside house, but inside house, proximity to attractions and communication excellent!

This was a lovely stay !! We met our friends to gather for the horse races at Greenland. The king size bed was perfection after a long day! Thank you

For spring break we decided to do a whirlwind college tour. On our way to Virginia we decided to take a break in Lexington, KY for our daughters. They loved the Kentucky Horse Park!
The first night we ate at The Country Club so delicious and so convenient after a long drive.
The beds were very comfy.
We definitely could of used some more outdoor seating with it being so warm.
Great place yo stay!

We enjoyed our stay - very convenient to many places in Lexington. No internet when we arrived but an e-mail to and from the host quickly resolved. Comfortable beds and furniture.

Interior house remodel was lovely, beds very comfortable. Exterior was dilapidated, steps crumbling, piers (posts) leaning precariously, immediate neighborhood concerning.

Check in was easy. Drive to UK from property was easy. Plenty to see and do nearby. The host was slow to communicate and we never were able to get the proper Wifi information so that we could work while we were away from school and office. House was clean, comfortable, and well thought out for guest's needs (i.e. there was coffee and sweetener). On site parking is pretty narrow, so if you have a bigger vehicle it can be a tight fit. If my child chooses UK I would consider this property again for parent visits.

Instructions to access internet were outdated (the network name they listed didn’t exist). We found the correct network when searching but the password provided wasn’t correct. I emailed twice over 2 days asking for the correct info and no response other than their ‘prefab’ emails telling us to contact them if we needed anything and what we needed to do when checking out.
Cleaning was ok but a lot of details were overlooked and we did some cleaning when we arrived.
The cottage itself was charming and in a good location for walking to “Country Club Restaurant” and West 6th St Brewery. We had a great time in Lexington over the long weekend!

We enjoyed our short stay. Our family of five was in for two days to check out UK. The house was set up with everything we needed- down to the coffee loaded in the coffee maker for us!! (Great touch since we arrived late on check in day). Place was clean and well equipped with soap, shampoo, trash bags and air mattress for extra bedding. The internet connection never worked. The login and code did not exist when we tried to login. The tv we had to stream off our phone to get local news. Beds we’re comfortable and plenty of space for our family.

It was vey clean and the beds was amazing. We do plan to stay again. Couldnt get the wifi to connect tho. Other then that we had an amazing time at rockzilla. And the house was very nice. The neighbors was nice.

Everything was great. Check in and out process was the easiest we’ve ever had and the location is unbeatable.

We enjoyed this comfy home very much and it will be our go to for our annual trip to Lex to see our Cats play. One more chair in the living room and at least one full length mirror would be great additions. The beds were very comfy.
The only issue was that we were unable to log on to the Wi-Fi with the information provided from the host. We messaged the host but received no response. We did receive boilerplate scheduled messages during this time but no response to our request for help with the Wi-Fi. This was not a huge deal for us but could be for someone trying to work from this home.
I also forgot to grab my coat when we left so I have messaged again fingers crossed I’ll be able to get my coat back.
We recommend this home and we will definitely stay again.

Decided to spend weekend in Lexington. Location was great with a brewery, distillery and restaurant across the street. Everything we needed was at the house. Owner responded very quickly with answers to my questions. Would stay again!

We had such a wonderful week at this little house. It is the perfect size for two couples. The carport was a godsend when we arrived while it was pouring rain. We came to visit distilleries and it was conveniently located to many of them. We played cards at the little dining table. We watched everything we wanted on the smart TV. The beds were AWESOME. We all said it was the best we’ve slept in years. I hope we get to come back, and we will be recommending to our friends. Thank you for a wonderful home away from home.

The house was very clean and had a lot of kitchen supplies if you wanted to cook. The beds were very comfortable, not so much the sofa though. The neighborhood was a little run down. We still had a nice time.

Nice property. Pictures and descriptions are accurate. Walking distance to the downtown areas, and short drive/long walk to the distillery district. Overall it was a perfect location for us!

Amazing! We went to Lexington for a birthday trip and to visit the Ark Encounter. The location was perfect. There are two local restaurants nearby that are great. I recommend County Club. Communication with the owners was great. The house was very welcoming. Felt like I was at home.

House is perfect for two couples visiting Lexington. Great outdoor space during nice weather and very quiet. Walking distance to Jefferson Coffee, West Sixth Brewery and Country Club Restaurant. Centrally located to pretty much anywhere you want to go. Highly recommend!

Four of us stayed for 2 days in this charmer of a home. The outside is cute but the inside is just adorable. The host thought of everything in this home and made it all just extra special with locally ground coffee, beautifully rolled towels and warm decor. We loved everything about this house. It was close to the 6th Street Brewery, just steps away. Across the street was a lovely tucked in gem of Lexington!! It was a restaurant called The County Club. FANTASTIC food and drinks. I had the Brisket Pho which was soooo delicious. Great Old Fashion! And this was only about 15 steps from the house. We ubered to Keeneland and partied at the Distillery District. All so close to this house. We will definitely choose to stay here again.

Property was just like it says! All amenities provided, very clean, abundance of room.
Love refurbished homes! Great correspondence with owner. Close to restaurants and bars!

Great house located very close to a brewery, restaurant, and coffee shop! Nice decor and amenities. About a mile walk to downtown Lexington. The area seemed to be in the early stages of revitalization, and will be nice once completed. Felt safe walking around during the day. Ubered at night. Will stay here again.
