Heritage looking, quite.
It was not worth the money in terms of facilities & ambiance of the room. The food was not nothing to rave about as well.

A superb location so close to the sea, a lovely historic house, and very helpful staff (especially Jiya and the breakfast staff). The breakfast was amazing - we could just order whatever we liked from the menu (delicious fruit platter, pancakes, eggs cooked in different ways, etc), they lent us bicycles to explore the Fort Kochi area. In fact every part of our stay was excellent!

We'd love bit of western food and a beer. 😉

Property location is good
This facility is Recommended for foreigners ,they can see how their ancestors lived here in fort kochi.
As an Indian travel I don’t recommend to Indians unless u want to explore about to stay history and Dutch style structure. And with this money u can find luxurious hotel nearby fort Kochi.

The staff (everyone from the security guard to the receptionist to the waiters) were super friendly and very helpful and very considerate to all our needs. The property is well located and walking distance to many of the attractions. We had a great time, overall!
The cleanliness is something that could use a lil work. The common bathroom was not very neat and they didn't do room service on one of the days (apparently because we did not ask for it).

Quiet location.
AC was efficient and quiet.
We had a Sea View room, one of two Sea view rooms, which was lovely and big, with interrupted views of the ocean.
Breakfast was very basic.
No AC in the dinning areas.
The grounds needed a tidy and a clean up.
The pool water was uncomfortably warm, no shade over the pool.

This is a very nice Boutique property. I have felt welcome and I did enjoy my stay here. The staff was always very friendly and helpful, I had a personalized welcome card in my room with some complementary local snacks. I did have a late check-in due to my flight being canceled and the staff was very kind to still serve me dinner even though the kitchen was already closing. They were also very kind to expedite my laundry even when I already gave it after the collection time. I also appreciate them for helping me organize a visit to the Kathakali event the following evening and for booking a driver for me for the continuation of my trip around Kerala. I will come back to this property.
I did not have a TV in my room, but this is not a problem at all for me since I don't care for it. Just noting it if you need one to fall asleep. :)

Lovely place and very well located in Fort Kochi. The rooms are very nice and the staff were great, very accommodating as we organised a surprise for our friend. The breakfast in the outdoor garden was also very nice. Would definitely recommend this place!

The breakfast fare was good and with enough choices to make it satisfying. All of us were vegetarians and the choices were adequate. The chilli cheese toast had eggs in it which we found to be a little strange, and the pooris were a bit on the oily side, but nonetheless, the overall experience was very nice.

Beautiful colonial villa converted to a boutique hotel with a limited number of spacious rooms with large bathrooms. Fast WiFI, well-functioning AC, rooms equipped with several mosquito repelling devices. Quaint back-garden with a small but clean pool. Really nice eating area outside in the garden. Quick service for breakfast.
Rock-hard bed.

The staff was very attentive and the hotel quiet. The grounds were very well kept.

a beautiful small hotel that is like an old colonial house. Extremely clean. Rooms cleaned and beds and towels changed every day. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Very good choice for breakfast . We had the front 2 rooms which both have sea views and a closed in veranda room. Good pool .
liked everything.

Open air breakfast room, coffee machine made very good coffee, choice of eggs, juices, fruit. All in all, very good.
no complains from us.😌! However, it does not have a license so sundowners are not an option. They may brink drinks in, we are not sure.

Amazing, charming hotel. Nice people, excellent staff

Beautiful property centrally located to all popular streets of Fort Kochi. Pool is a massive highlight. Room was spacious and comfortable with fabulous bed.
The food on the menu is a little hit and miss, breakfast quite underwhelming.

lovely small hotels with beautiful heritage room but very modern bathroom. nice pool.
there were issues with processing my credit card for payment just before I left Australia and it was their system or bank. the staff were helpful and eventually I paid by direct transfer but it was all routed through Delhi and was an added stress before I left. On arrival staff still thought it hadn’t been paid but luckily I had brought the bank re riot as proof.

Pleasant stay in Fort Kochi. Fine location if happy walking into the centre.
A little run down but overall clean

The location is lovely, quiet and right by the beach and the Dutch cemetery. 3 museums are walking distance, the restaurant is serviceable but the staff is super attentive and prompt. What really sets this place apart is the heritage building it is located in - the verandahs and open spaces to sit and read are totally unique and worth experiencing.
The online payment system is completely erratic and the management is quite rude about it. Booked via booking.com through which I had stayed at multiple properties in India on a recent trip, this was the only stay that was stressful because the management couldn't process the card payment for whatever reason. They sent many very frantic messages even though the booking was just two days away requesting 50% advance or threatening cancellation. This seemed a bit predatorial and excessive. They never acknowledged that the problem with processing the payment lay at their end and not with my card, which created even more stress until I was able to confirm my card was working normally. I had to borrow a local (Indian) debit card to pay the advance, and then the same card which they couldn't process was successfully used at the hotel to complete payment (before the stay even began). Following this, the staff confirmed that they had been having this issue with multiple clients, so I can't understand what drove the management to be so belligerent with us in advance of our stay.
Finally, the staff at the hotel are great and helpful. However, there was an interim Manager at the property, Manish, who seemingly has no training in hotel management or client relations. We requested a late check-out the following day, and he told us categorically that there were no rooms available for this. When I checked online, there were 3 rooms available, including one of the 2 we were occupying. Strange not to be able to come sort of arrangement for hotel guests. In any case, we booked the room for an extra night - and this led to us trying 4 different cards for payment until the receptionist realised that the servers weren't working. Us and other guests had to then go out and withdraw cash from an ATM to complete the payment. Totally unacceptable for such a nicely located and expensive hotel.

It's a beautiful old building in a terrific location.
It oozes old world charm.
The rooms are large, comfortable and clean.
Staff were very helpful.
The restaurant area was in a lovely setting but seemed to lack atmosphere.
The food we had, whilst tasty, wasn't up to the standards we had experienced in other places in our travels through India, often at much more budget hotels.
Lack of alcohol wasn't an issue but should be noted.

Room was very big and comfortable bed, helpful staff and good breakfast. Location was just at the beach.
It was a bit basic for this price and it would have been nicer if they had a spa

Location. Beside the ocean.
Leak in annex of room. No bottled water daily.

The staff, especially Vishnu and everyone actually were the sweetest and super helpful! I also think the location was superb. The place itself gives the colonial feel. Also thank you for upgrading me! :)
The only drawback was that last order for dinner was 8:30pm. But there are many places nearby to eat.
