About this villa rental
This popular Three Rivers Vacation Rental offers three casual resort-like vacation homes designed for comfort and privacy.
Our location is perfect for those wishing to be surrounded by vibrant greenery with views of the river, trees, mountains and hills, yet walk two blocks for restaurant dinners, grocery store, bank, post office and local beauty spa. We are also 10 minutes from the Sequoia National Park Gate Entrance!
The three bedroom villa sleeps 6 with three bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and has a large saltwater pool (unheated) and large heated saltwater spa just steps off of the home. The pool and spa is situated off of this house and private to this vacation home. Each home Is built and oriented for privacy.
This home has a large radius floor to ceiling bookcase, two large screen tvs, and amazing views to the outdoors. Each bedroom has high quality bedding, and bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals, to be enjoyed at the large vintage farm table just off of the pool.
The large common green area rolls into the former golf course, which is out of play and had become part of the riparian habitat with deer, and other wild life, with sweeping expansive views. The Kaweah River borders the third fairway that borders this property. Located minutes from the Sequoia National Park Gate Entrance at Ash Mountain, the grounds are a lush one acre and boast some of the Sierra Nevada foothill's largest and oldest Valley Oaks. The property grounds were included in a select group of gardens for 'The Hidden Gardens of Three Rivers Tour.' California native plants abound along side a diverse lush landscape. The site is literally surrounded in mountain greenery with sweeping views of the Sierra Nevadas, providing an ideal environment for relaxing and playing. The golf course is not currently in play.
Watch the Great Blue Heron fish the river, or listen to an evening opera of hundreds of red wing black birds flocked to the adjacent wild life riparian habitat. Spot bobcats, wild hogs traveling the golf course (really), or the special siting of an American bald eagle soaring high over. You will be in the middle of quiet pristine nature, yet conveniently just a two block walk from local restaurants and The Village Market.
After a vigorous day of hiking the near by National Parks of the Sequoia and Kings Canyon, guests enjoy the salt water pool and party size heated salt water spa. Spend an evening under the stars, cook s’mores in the patio wood burning fireplace and enjoy the heated spa. Three Rivers 'dark sky' policy makes this site ideal for stargazing.
A private two car garage secures your vehicles, and your front door is accessed by a combination lock, which is provided before arrival, allowing you to arrive and depart at your pleasure.
Also available on this acre is a 2/2 vacation villa with spa. See listing number 602916 for photos of the two bedroom.
***An additional 2/2 villa is available next door, and you may see these photos under listing # 626199. For more info on this villa. This villa is next door and a good one to rent, when you want to add a home for a larger party.
These custom accommodations and grounds were designed and built by our family in a style conducive to comfort and privacy. These vacation homes are a secluded three unit resort style complex on the Out of play golf course enjoying spacious grounds and individual home privacy. If you have a party or family requiring more space, arrangements can be made to book both villas together. The site has spectacular Sierra Nevada mountain scenery, with views of Moro Rock, Three Rivers Golf course, and Kaweah River. Artists, ranchers, writers, and a bit of Hollywood, make Three Rivers unique and fun to explore. Stay here and enjoy!

We loved this place!!
The property was a perfect home base for trips to the National Park or other local sites and the pool was an absolute must!
The home was well-stocked and had all necessary amenities. The bbq worked well and there were ample plates/ cutlery for a large group.
We loved staying here and hope to return!

The pool was a hit with the kids. Great location close to the park. We loved that it has a piano!

We stayed here while visiting the National Parks - our kids enjoyed staying at the house to swim and relax just as much as the parks! A beautiful, relaxing home. Great communication and responsiveness.

Our family so enjoyed our time here none of us wanted to leave. The house is beautiful and full of what appears to be a lifetime of traveling and gorgeous collections of art. It is quirky and felt very homey. I even found my book club book on the shelves and was able to get a head start on reading which I enjoyed in the beautiful outdoor space. The pool was lovely after a day spent hiking. I would return and stay here in an heart beat. I also enjoyed the Mexican place twice and cannot recommend the verde sauce highly enough I will be dreaming of it for weeks to come. Loved our stay here!!!

The location and amenities were great. There were a few things that didn’t work. We had to replace the tank on the gas grill. It still didn’t work well. The patio heater did not work. The pool waterfall wasn’t working. But the patio and outside fireplace were great. Only 10-15 minutes to the park. Overall we really enjoyed it.

This unit is located behind an apartment complex/stores. When we arrived the door code did not work. They stressed that we likely wouldn’t have cell signal and luckily I had enough to call them to get a new door code otherwise we’d have to turn around and find cell signal. Really poor first impression.
The house is quirky and cute, but not good for little kids. I contacted the host prior to ensure that there was pool/door alarms and she said she would make sure there was some. There wasn’t. I spent the entire trip sleeping with one eye open worried about my three year old. It said there is river access but lots of signs warning not to go on the neighbors property with a very confusing map so we never found the river. The pool and hot tub were very dirty. The house itself looked like it’s been abandoned for several months before we arrived, cobwebs everywhere, drip stains in the tubs and showers. There is missing outlet covers and light switch covers in numerous spots. There is a hole in the wall covered by a tapestry. The one shower had pressure so hard it was excruciating and the other didn’t have enough. Mostly I’d let that stuff slide but for the amount we paid it definitely did not live up to my expectations. It was not restful after hiking sequoia because I was SO worried about my toddler. I can’t recommend this property in its current state.

Our stay at this Three Rivers home was so peaceful and pleasant and just what we hoped for. The home was clean, well stocked and just as advertised. For entertainment we drove up to the a sequoia National forest and hiked on three different days. Also stopped in for lunch at Sierra Subs - the best! And the Pizza Factory for dinner - also amazing! We would stay here again.

This was a great home! Everything was clean and exactly as depicted in the pictures. The owner was responsive to questions and helpful. The beds were very comfortable with nice bedding. The neighborhood was excellent! Made for a perfect getaway!!!
The outside pool was beautiful. It would have been nice to turn off the waterfall to the pool as our group was older and some were hard of hearing and this made sitting by the pool difficult.
There was a great book with suggestions inside on places to eat and hikes. I would definitely come back to this home! Thank you!!

Great location. Down the street from the market and very close to everything Three Rivers has to offer. Close to the park, if you’re interested in checking out Sequoia. 2nd stay at this property and it has everything you’ll ever need in a vacation rental. Highly recommend and we’ll be back again.

This property is quirky and really interesting. We enjoyed seeing the wide variety of art incorporated. The location is excellent-near many restaurants, river & Sequoia NP.
We had a great time. That being said, there were several issues. The dryer and ice maker did not work, but the host was very responsive. They replaced the dryer next day while we were out and offered to reimburse for ice (we didn’t really want to bother with that), so stuck with warm drinks for the duration.
The pool, spa & patio were great features and a highlight of our stay. We enjoyed the pool floats that were included.
Some downsides:
~listing pointed out the wall above spa for projecting movies, but a projector wasn’t included. That should have been more clear, in my opinion
~ice maker didn’t work; middle burner of grill didn’t work
~electric wiring in the property is odd. Multiple switches we couldn’t find or couldn’t figure out what they were for
~husband didn’t like that it’s a condo - got the impression from the listing that it was a stand alone home
~there is an insect problem-ants in the utility room sink & multiple dead bugs around the home, including a roach
~some features seem to be under construction, and others definitely need maintenance
~cleanliness wasn’t the best
The responsiveness of host was a definite plus side, and brought our rating up to 4 stars - we were so grateful for the prompt replacement of the dryer.

The condo was perfect! It was clean, spacious and was the perfect place to re-energize after our visit to Sequoia. The pool and hot tub were great! Unfortunately Sequoia's Three Rivers entrance was closed while we were here but it is very conveniently located for that entrance. Highly recommend staying here and we would definitely stay here again!!

We had such a fun time at this rental - great layout for 3 couples, well equipped kitchen, awesome pool and hot tub, very private despite its proximity to town. It’s also very close to the entrance to sequoia national park although road closures limited our ability to venture far, still some good trails within reach. The property is a bit older and there are some minor things that could use upgrading but overall a fantastic stay, highly recommend it.

We were very fortunate to stay at this lovely house at Three Rivers. House was clean, big rooms, and great decorations. Kitchen had everything we needed. Pool and hot tub worked great. Amazing views of the river. Quaint little area with a cute market 100 yards away with all types of groceries and drinks. Definitely would stay again and recommend.

We only stayed for 2 nights, but very relaxing, loved the pool/hot tub and outside seating area. House was stocked with everything we needed and owner was very nice, she called me to make sure we made it in and to see if we had any questions, also made suggestions on restaurants. We would definitely go back!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was beautiful. It could maybe use some updating especially outside but did not detract from the overall stay. Beds were comfortable. Pool was fun for our grandchildren and us, as well! Had an issue with ants but was immediately addressed by the owners.

This home is truly lovely, comfortable and so much fun. The back yard is a retreat all by itself! It’s close to a market & sone small shops. My favorite part is that there’s just a short walk to a glorious stream. The home is quiet and beautiful. There’s not any phone service, unless you have att which makes reaching out a little tricky, but there’s great Wi-Fi that can be used. We had a wonderful time.

Our families 3rd time staying here. It’s the perfect location for 2 families to meet from LA and SF. Never disappoints. The house is always clean and kept up. The kids love swimming in the pool.

Convenient place to stay while visiting Sequoia NP. Pool and spa were great, very refreshing during the afternoon heat. We were even visited by some wild turkeys!

My family was stunned that I found such a great place...I'm known for not being a trip planner, but Sequoia was my destination so I had to do put in the work. This was always my first choice among the 5 or 6 links I sent out to the family, some of them driving up from Arizona and us from the Bay. The family finally decided on another place, but their decision came too late and the other property was booked from under us....boo hoo. /s
When everybody walked into this place, their jaws hit the floor. I was getting congratulated for finding an amazing place, a new first. The pool area was a huge success and we spent 95% of our awake time there. In fact the pool and spa won out on our second full day and we decided to skip the park and stay on the property and play in the water. The kitchen and common area is lots of fun with a open layout good for conversation while meal prep. Beds nice and soft.
But it's all about the villa style pool area...private, fun, relaxing, and just a super high enjoyment level for my family.
Our only mishap was getting cable TV to work, but it wasn't a impact on our stay. Maybe a little steps card/display with steps to get it running would have help. The nice gentlemen who came to correct the problem had it working in no time. I just couldn't figure the right combo on my own.
oh there are a couple of half dollar sized frogs that like to talk smack to each other all night by the pool. The secret to get through their loudness is to get a lot of time playing in the pool and you should be tired enough to drift off to sleep.
10/10 would stay again.

Beautiful home! We really enjoyed the space and the pool after hiking in the Sequoia National Park! The views and the sound of the river were very relaxing. The house is very close to the park's entrance, and to restaurants and grocery store. Thank you for an amazing stay!

It’s a quiet large beautiful house. Great for entertaining. Fully stocked kitchen allowing you to cook large meals for the weekend or special occasions. Large outside area with a big swimming pool, jacuzzi, bbq grill, eating tables and laying out in the sun. It’s so comforting and relaxing. At check out, we did not want to leave.

The property exceeded my expectations in every way. It is so beautiful, inside and out. We were here for a family wedding and the location was perfect. It was so close to the entrance to Sequoia National Park that we even managed to get a short trip through the park between wedding activities. It was well appointed and comfortable, with all of the kitchen utensils we could want. There were even beach towels for the pool. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would recommend it to anyone.

We loved the outdoor area for this home. After hiking in the National Parks, it was so relaxing to soak in the hot tub and cook steaks on the grill. A covey of mountain quail paraded right past the fence! A light went out, and Pam had it fixed before we could return that day. If you enjoy the outdoors in a beautiful setting, this the place to stay.
2.5
Lovely home, with a great kitchen and perfect rooms. We enjoyed the hot tub a lot!

Beautiful home and grounds in a great location close to Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon. Very conveniently located within walking distance to grocery store and local businesses. Highly recommend!

While the property could use a few minor updates, it is beautiful - and like staying at a resort. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen is well-supplied and everything was spotless. The owners are exceptionally kind and responsive - and so very helpful! You will love your stay here.
2.5
The house was awesome! It was clean, well equipped and had a lot of room to stretch out. The pool gave us a welcome respite from the heat and was very well used. The house is very close to a grocery nd a couple of restaurants which is pretty convenient. Best of all, Sequoia National Park is only ten minutes away. All the bedrooms have their own en suite baths which meant no waiting! The owners kEpt in touch and gave clear instructions on check in/out procedures, what to expect and where to go (and no go). I can go on and on but you have to book this place and experience it yourself.
2.5
Pool was especial welcome. Temperature hit 104 and 105 degrees during our stay. House is showing its age--needs a bit of refurbishing. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves.
2.5
The home was beautiful with a perfect location to explore Sequoia National Park. The pool area was amazing and my kids would have been happy playing in the pool and spa all week! House was very clean and wasn’t lacking anything. We would stay again!
2.5
Need i say more? We have returned 3x to par 3 and love it even more every time! Pam is an amazing host. Sitting by the pool with my morning coffee watching for wild life was the best therapy!

The private pool and hot tub patio were week kept and perfect for our daughters and us to hang out all together.

My 3 children and I had the most amazing time at the Par 3 in Three Rivers. The location is perfect; within walking distance to the market and several restaurants. A very short but scenic drive to Sequoia National Park, Lake Kaweah, and lots of cute shops.
The property felt like home & had everything we needed and then some. The pool and spa were amazing after hiking and during the heat of the day. Most appreciated were the property owner's communication & flexibility! Definitely recommend this property for anyone considering.

We were a group of three couples traveling together to Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Par 3. Communication with Pam Lockhart was excellent.
The house was very well stocked with everything we needed, and everything we needed to truly relax. We enjoyed the hot tub and the pool after hiking and the proximity to the NPS was great.
Thank you.

Loved the house, pool and hot tub! We hiked in the national park! Restaurants are limited, it being right beside the Sequoia National Park, but there is a huge kitchen and the grocery store has a full selection of items, including pool toys! It was blissful.
