Unfortunately room was not set up as requested and asked reception to fix however 4 hours later we had to remind them again and wait until housekeeping could make up beds for us. Bathroom door also became jammed closed preventing access until maintenance could come. Initially receptionist came up and simply jiggled the door handle (how I wish I thought to try that) then had to wait until someone arrived with the correct tool.
Again one of the lifts was not operating and this resulted in queues to get up to rooms.
Concierge was outside main door not preventing cars parking on double yellow lines and the narrow road became completely gridlocked with drivers shouting and swearing at one another. When we complained to concierge asking him to stop cars so we could get out his reply was that he hadn’t noticed there was an issue!

Lifts were not working great and pillows weren’t the best, but everything else was really good.

Had a lovely overnight here, made all the more special with an unexpected deal on an upgrade. Hope to go back soon.

We stayed in a Suite which had great views over Glasgow, we had access to the Club Suite on the 14th floor which was great. I'd like to give special mentioned to the staff members, Mohammad when I checked in and Liretta when we checked out.

Very comfortable room with a lovely view of the River. Club Lounge was very relaxing with delicious snacks and drinks

Rooms were clean. Restaurant needs someone to walk the breakfast buffet like a guest. e.g. the hot water at the tea bar should be before the milk, there should be teaspoons at the tea bar. Little things, but these things stop bottlenecks forming.
Very noisy at night - got woken up at 2.50am - if there’s a function on, security should patrol the floors perhaps?…

Convenient for shows at the ovo. Rooms could have been cleaner.

Lovely staff but hotel feels very tired.
Air conditioning in room makes a VERY loud noise, too loud to sleep, yet doesn’t actually cool the room at all

Great all round

Clean, tidy and fuctional for the conference that I was attending.
Staff and bar staff were friendly. Car parking charges are a rip-off and confusing. Staff helped with this after I had paid over £30 for the day. Should be clearer.
Business hotel only.

Hotel was lovely. We had a king suite high flooor with use of the club lounge. David in the club lounge was so wonderful he went out of his way to accommodate our family with food intolerance. What a great addition to your team. Mohammed on reception is made for that role!
We often visit Glasgow and will most certainly be back.

Perfect for the weekend show and we stopped the night before so we could some Glasgow sights too. Only really, marked down as the pool and gym were out of action for a refurb. Our room was comfortable and clean but I’d say they are due a refurb as the bathroom was looking a bit tired and the power socket hub on the corner of the desk worked, but the mechanism that is supposed to hold it up was broken. We had breakfast and was impressed with quality and service even though it was a busy weekend.

We stayed here at a weekend and only found out 2 days before that the leisure facilities would be closed. They arranged for us to use another hotels facilities to save my 5 year olds disappointment so thank you. Kathleen at check in was very friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately we couldn’t get a restaurant booking at a convenient time for our family so got room service instead which saved the day.
Overall a well run and clean hotel with good car parking. I’d say it was the top end of our budget as family. Family room a generous size.

Impossible to reserve a double bed, it's a gacha game whether you get a twin or a double. We lost. Felt like sleeping in a college dorm again.

Fantastic service. Friendly. Professional. Went above and beyond with kind gestures. Club lounge was unexpected and welcome!

Fantastic stay at the Crowne Plaza, from check in to check out everything about the hotel was excellent (Staff friendly, spotless room, very nice breakfast).

Nice room. Good room service. Bar waiters need to be more active to new arrivals.

The best customer service - massive shout out to Mohamed on reception for his amazing customer service and making me feel extra special.
Lovely two night stay and will definitely be back

Great stay at the hotel, great service. Could be more elevators, occasionally pretty long waiting times and the stairs were a bit rustic and out of way.
Truly Scottish breakfast, not too much veggies, hint hint. Also, no porridge?
All in all, solid strong 4/5.

It was good but not many options for younger kids dining

Twice within two weeks the rooms were not ready and wasn’t able to check in at 3 as stated. If the hotel cannot clean rooms in a timely manner maybe more cleaning staff may be needed. Free drinks at the bar isn’t always what a tired traveler needs to “make things right”. Will rethink staying at another Crowne Plaza for the future

Hotel is right on river with nice walking/running/biking path with public transportation and hop on hop off bus stop nearby. A ways from city center, but cabs also readily available. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast buffet; dinner was good and reasonable.

Convenient for both west end and central Glasgow.

Nice enough hotel - noisy aircon in the bedroom and no opening window - very stuffy. Staff we met were all excellent. Food and drink really good - but drinks very expensive. Handy car parking. 2 min walk from the Armadillo.Would stay again.

Stayed at the Crowne Plaza to attend an event at the SEC. Very convenient. Easy parking, great staff. The guest relations manager Angela helped arrange a bottle of Proseco for our room as it was our anniversary. Mohammed on reception also very helpful. Good breakfast. Ideal stay when attending concerts etc nearby.

The Club Suite was superb. The pool and spa area were quiet and clean. Cool views. Had a good cocktail and salad at the restaurant.

What a lovely, situated hotel on the banks of the river Clyde...next to the Armadillo, the OVO Hydro, SEC and opposite the Science Museum and BBC Scotland...so great views and a quick journey into the City Centre too.
The Crowne Plaza hotel itself was lovely, spacious, clean and with excellent amenities and a Car Park (charged).
Our room was spacious, well-presented and spotless, with a daily cleaning service.
The food menu was varied and reasonably priced...our breakfast was self-service and yummy with lots to choose from and replenished regularly.
All the staff were helpful and friendly, however, I would like to give a particular shout out to Scott in food & Beverage...such a lovely accommodating, helpful and interesting person to talk with. He showed such compassion as we were staying in Glasgow for my Uncle's funeral and just made us feel especially welcome. So, thank you, Scott...you are a credit to the Crowne Plaza Hotel team!
A truly lovely stay, thank you, and I would definitely recommend this Hotel :)

Arrived at the hotel after learning Stevie Nicks concert was cancelled but the staff were wonderful, very professional and always happy to help.
The only downside is i thought my booking included breakfast but it didn't £17.95 is what you will pay!!!

Our room was comfortable and provided easy access to the convention center. The breakfast buffet was expensive and there were no cafe options to get a quick coffee or yogurt. Our fridge was not working properly so there was no way to keep food/drinks cold. Maintenance said it was just fine.
