This is an older property with lots of potential! We were a bit turned off with the amount of A/C units on the roof when we first pulled in. It was pretty tacky. Maybe they should put up a row of big potted plants or a short wall or something to cover them. The lobby and inside area is nice but a good interior decorator could make it look amazing. The hotel rooms on the other hand are old, a bit beat up, old cheap furniture and hard uncomfortable beds. Some people like hard bed but not me so to each their own I suppose. However, the outside property is amazing!!! If they could make the inside match the outside, they would have it going on! The employees were friendly and the food was pretty good. I know it takes money to renovate and I hope someday they can because the place does have A LOT of potential to be something great.

The room and balcony were small with a great view. The staff helpful and friendly. The restaurants were convenient and good.

Great location with a private beach and nice pool. Rooms are outdated but perfect for just sleeping and showering. WiFi was spotty but worked most of the time. Will definitely be back if they have deals.

Nice place to stay if youre looking for a hotel with a small beach and pool. Little outdated but not bad. Food and drinks are great. Best place to stay with lots of things to do in La Paz.

The room was not clean. The air conditioner kept making a loud noise. The jets in the jacuzzi were filthy.

Wired smell in the room i stayed on 3rd floor, lack of privacy on restroom, cant drink or eat on the room, (subject to a fine if you do so) internet signal was not acceptable, overall has potential but need new management.

They had a group of 150 people and that was there main focus to hell with the general public.
Our room was on the 3rd floor the desk clerk offered no help for a 77 year old to carry his luggage 3 floors at the 3rd floor there was no direction as to which way to go. We chose the wrong way carring our luggage.
The bath had NO shower just a handheld and tub
Will not go back
THe bartenter was great

Beautiful location right on the beach. Good food and service. Very dated rooms, would be great with new towels and some decor. Comfy bed.

Our room 1075 reeks of bad mold and mildew. Several others at the pool today made the same comments. Our noses are running and coughing in the room and we are fine when we leave the room.

This was a great location, beautiful scenery. My mom said her bed had sand from the prior guest. I would suggest better cleaning regulations. Otherwise, its a great option

Wonderful. If you’re looking for the bland efficiency of a Hyatt look elsewhere. This place isn’t without its quirks but the rooms are clean , the food is wonderful and the beach and pool are so fun ! Easy ride to the malecon and beaches (we didn’t have a car) , relaxed home base here.

Everything about this place was great. The only down side is I wish they open before 8am for coffee or breakfast.

This property is perfect for those who like to fish and enjoy some beach/pool time. The property is older but improvements are being made. The staff is exceptional and the food was fantastic.

It’s noticeable that the hotel has many years, but the surroundings, being by the beach, the outdoor facilities and the great food makes it worth it.

The Staff was really nice Alex, Daniel, Norma, Joseph, Jorge, the guys at the restaurant. Lourdes the cleaning lady. The property is in a great spot, it needs a huge remodel, everything is pretty old and falling apart in the rooms. They really need it. It could be a wodnerful spot again.

Clean, comfy, traditional old style MX resort hotel. On the beach with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the sunset. A mini drive from downtown La Paz and the busy malecon. Perfect for us, as it was quite and a bit of green and sand to enjoy. Bed was really comfortable and plenty of hot water in the morning for showers.

Great views of the city and bay, the beach was convenient and clean. I will recommend to my friends!

Safe on-site parking was excellent, we were outside of town but still nearby, so it was fairly quiet. Lots of cats. The restaurant was nice in the morning and the landscape architecture was definitely appreciated. Bad news- definitely no WiFi in the room… and we needed it. WiFi was advertised in the lobby, but that didn’t work either. Trouble when you need to download local maps!

Bath in bad condition-room smell bad- wait to long to get any service- towels in bad condition- no elevator- old construction-

La Concha is in a great location and has two good restaurants adjacent. My room was basic (no coffee maker) and the bedding and towels were worn, but the view of the swaying palms was pleasant and I enjoyed the small deck with screen door that allowed fresh air into the room.

The hotel is in a nice location on a semi-private beach. The public areas, such as the pool and bar, are quite nice and well-kept. What brings the hotel down are the shabby rooms with broken electrical fixtures, non-existant WiFi in their “WiFi Hotspots”, and frayed and threadbare sheets and towels. And the ridiculously high price they are asking for it. The exterior of the hotel looks like it was once a grand hotel that has been through a couple of hurricanes too many! There are better options for the money in La Paz.
That having been said, it was very convenient to stay at for access to The Cortez Club next door, who are a very good snorkeling, diving, and fishing outfit to go on an adventure with. We stayed for 1 night as we went out on an excellent adventure the next day, a combination trip of snorkeling at the San Rafaelito Sea Lion Colony, a lunch stop at Playa Ballandra, and then the chance to snorkel with Whale Sharks. This activity was so amazing that it was worth putting up with 1 night in the La Concha Hotel.

The outdoor amenities, such as the bar and pool are beautiful and well cared for. The rooms however suck. Our room smelt of sewage, it you are over 5ft 9ins your feet hang over the edge, they offer no coffee in the room, Over all I give the room 2 out of ten.

The hotel is very nice, nice pool, good restaurant and beach is nice also, but the room had an unpleasent odor in the bathroom and the towels were clean but old. Service is good in general, the hotel could be in better condition.

Photos on the website do not reflect what you will get. The resort is old and it shows. The room was not cleaned properly and there was no mini fridge.
Staff were very nice.
For what you pay it’s not worth it in my opinion.

Great staff, friendly people, good security!

While we enjoyed the quiet & peacefulness of the area, the decor of the hotel was very aged. We couldn’t figure out if they were going for a rustic look or simply outdated!! The rooms could sure use some upgrades as our A/C unit didn’t work in our first room, so they moved us to another room with no issues. Due to the recent hurricane, beach was closed & swimming in bay was prohibited. The staff however was quite helpful and pleasant with our needs. Overall, if you’re looking for a peaceful place, this is for you, but if you prefer modern amenities, this isn’t it!!

Prices to high for the hotel quality. It was a huge cockroach in the room. The towels too old, broken and frayed. Room smells like dirty and the toilet too. To be honest I would never go back.

The room is too ugly for the price
