I enjoyed the room. It was very small but cozy and sufficient. The bed was comfortable. Everything was super clean. Staff were helpful. The location is good. Not a perfect stay but satisfactory.

Great hotel in a central location. Nearest tube is Bayswater and only a 3 minute walk. Room was very hot but after turning the radiator off and opening the window it was fine. It has a lift which is great. If I had 1 issue it was that there is no plug next to the bed. But other than that it was great. Remember, it’s a budget hotel, if you want grandeur and luxury, stay at The Dorchester.

wow. not good at all. We ordered a room with three separate beds and specified this. Got two tiny twin beds and the staff was very unhelpful and refused to do anything. Never admitted a mistake. Eventually got an extra mattress, but this one was moldy and disgusting. Staff claimed they don't have a room with three separate beds, then why is that an option when ordering? Will never stay here again and will follow up on this as i think it's fradulent.

It was stuffy. There were bugs everywhere in the bathroom and room. There were even bugs in the bed.

My daughter and I just wanted to stick our heads down for the night after a very long day, hitting up all the iconic locations around London. I would suggest that a fan is available within the room as it was a basement stay, and got quite stuffy, but otherwise we are travelling around our own country

Managed to get a free upgrade to a 2 bed double room. Shower was fairly decent, after working out which was the hot tap. Good value hotel for the money. Not too far from Bayswater high street.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Bed bugs in the property - staff completely unfazed. Very run down - horrible facilities!

For the price and location, its a decent hotel. You cant expect proper luxury for the pricetag and location. We were only staying for one night due to sightseeint in London.
The only thing I'd say is we booked 3 x single beds and got 2 x double. We didn't complain but nor were we given a reason why we had something different than booked. The beds themselves were decent but giving of pillows could be more generous.
Decor is quite outdated and though the hotel itself didnt seem unclean, the decor gives it that feel.
However, we were satisfied and I would book again if I were only staying overnight.

Too hot and tiny room for couple, one window and even no fan provided, bed sheet had curry stains and blanket was the unwashable type, seems very dirty.

This Hotel had an amazing location especially for the price! The train was walkable and many food options!

Would not stay again. The hotel is an older building, a bit dilapidated with creaky floors. The room was very compact, and the double bed was not comfortable for two people, as we kept sliding to the middle. It was noisy both inside and outside the room, though this wasn’t the hotel’s fault. Room service is provided every other day. On the positive side, the location is convenient, with restaurants and shops nearby, and Bayswater and Queensway tube stations within walking distance.

Room was like a prison cell with a bathroom added inside the already cramped space so that there was only around a metre of space for the bed. Bed was extremely old and soft, and wardrobe was overlooked by an open window to the corridor. Everywhere this hotel is falling apart and badly maintained. To also didn’t work. I asked to be moved and was told it wasn’t possible until my next night when the room was much better but still not great. They are refusing a refund for the first night. I stay in many hotels in London for work and this is the worst by far.

The hotel is much more rundown then expected. Pictures of the facade are not of the actual hotel, although similar. Quite possibly of Prince's square instead. Do not expect to wash your hair with the lack of water pressure. Area is pretty, safe and convenient.

Staff very welcoming and efficient

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE
- Immediately when we arrived, we tried to check in and the clerk was strict, we couldn’t get in for 45 minutes, until the posted check-in time. Then, when we asked if we could leave our luggage to get something to eat until check-in, she directed us to the luggage room.
When we tried to take the elevator down to the luggage room, the elevator wouldn’t work. The luggage room was down a narrow winding stair that was dangerous for two 75 year old traveler with luggage.
- The elevator did not work for four days of the eight day stay! All of the stairs were not convenient, comfortable, or safe for frequent use by septuagenarians.
- There were NO amenities. I had reserved a room with a queen size bed and they put us in room with a double. There was a small postage stamp sized facial soap and I couldn’t find a housekeeping person to provide more. There were two towels. No hand towels, no face cloths. No ice or ice machine. No refrigerator or microwave, NO CHAIR at all.
- The windows were barred in the inside and locked. This was a horrible fire hazard. Two people could not walk by the bed at the same time.
- No visitors were allowed. That was not mentioned in any of the property description.
- When we checked in, they gave us a piece of paper with our room number on it. Any time, we left the hotel – day and night – we had to give the room to the front desk and then show the room paper to get the key. We had a 40 minute wait one time.

The staff were amazing! Ahmad, Mark, Fatima and Sofia were very accommodating. The cleaning staff works very hard. The building itself is almost 400 yrs old. Is it perfect no? But the location is amazing! walking distance to everything. You will never beat the location or the beauty in the streets that this hotel has to share. Covid closed their in door dining, the garden is for residents only and yes they do need to update their website to reflect the current facilities options. I stayed there 9 days with my sisters. Please remember this is not fine lux standard, but they are single beds. If there is an issue please let them know politely, they will work on the request. Put in a nice cafe machine for the guests as they are arriving or going for a walk. It would be a nice touch. The key does need to stay behind as it identifies the location and room number. We loved this, never had to worry about losing it!

Garden view. Very last minute booking after extending stay in London. Had all required

The room was dusty and dirty especially the drawers. The bathroom is literally a closet. You can’t bend in the shower. No air conditioning but they provide a small fan in the room.

I was cool convenient, the staff was nice, but the room was quite small for 2 people and the bed as well!

The room in the advertising was a far representation of the room I actually received. Would have had less stars if it wasn’t for the help of the young man on reception . Without doubt one of the most kind, helpful &polite person I have met . He single handed made me feel my stay was ok.

The hotel location is perfect but their services are average.

Really nice area and nice facilities! About an 8 minute walk to the tube and some nice pubs and restaurants very close by!

For a couple young travelers, it was just what we needed, safe and cute in its way. Other travelers looking for a good London hotel, the pictures didn’t match what the room looked like and the furniture was moderately frayed.
10.0
Tiny but charming room, absolutely wonderful view, very helpful proprietor who helped fix a toilet issue immediately (the other staff member was not so helpful). Only disappointment was that their listing on Expedia showed they offered breakfast. They do not. This obviously needs to be updated.
6.0
Although the furniture is quite old and the bathroom is more inside a closet than in a separate room, it’s still quite okay for the price. The staff is really friendly and the location is also nice. Only a few minutes to the next shop and to the tube.
