The room seemed mostly clean, but the pillow cases had some stains, so we opted to sleep without them. Floor was torn up a bit. My significant other did happen to almost trip over it a couple times. Walls are extremely thin. You can hear all the movement from upstairs. You can also hear the tv from the next room over. You can also hear when people are taking showers or using the sink. Theres a weird knocking sound that occurs during those times. Overally was still not a horrible experience for what you're paying i suppose.

It was conveniently located to transit, which was great. The hotel was just a little old and worn. There wasn’t carpet so it was loud and a bit uncomfortable. Upstairs guests very loud. No sound barriers.

The gentlemen who ran the check in desk were very nice and helpful. As far as the room goes the soap tray in the shower was missing a screw so things fell off it, they never came in the second day to tidy our room. I had to go hunt for coffee and cups to make our morning coffee. They could have given us new towels for the second day. The room next to us was heard through the walls as well as noise from the room above us. Room was small for breakfast and food was rather cold that we had to heat it up in the microwave which was dirty. The hotel was hard to find because the sign was so low you missed it.

Missed a connecting flight at Boston Logan and the airline would not issue a hotel voucher. Chose the Howard Johnson in Quincy as it was close to the airport and affordable. The staff was incredibly kind as I arrived in distress, and allowed for me to request a late checkout. Room was clean, bed was comfy, and the breakfast was free hehe. Appreciate a sane place to stay when nothing is going your way

It looks like they are making improvements but I was scared when I walked the hallway to my room. The carpets look like they haven’t been replaced since 1970. The room was surprisingly updated and nice. However, in a two night stay my key stopped working on the second day and no housekeeping, not even to empty the garbage and give more coffee supplies.

Rented a king lg. Suite which was an end unit. It smelled so bad of smoke we moved to a regular king room. The toilet ran all night, bathroom faucet sprayed water sideways, and shower door bottom handle knob was off. They said it was repaired 2 times but 2nd & 3rd night the toilet still ran all night . The 3rd day water faucet fixed. The entire building smells like smoke. Carpets need to be cleaned in hallways. Comfortable beds and pillows. Nice soft vinyl plank floors inside our room. Missing outlet strip to plug in lap tops and coffee pot. On the 3rd night the outlet was in the room when we came back at 10:35 pm. Very nice apologetic staff for all issues. Breakfast variety ok. Loved the baklava. No gluten free or bananas. Very nice area to sit outdoors for breakfast. Would not stay there again.

Stayed here as a first leg of our Boston trip. Had 2 queen beds, but both had different feels, one was really stiff, the other was much better. Rooms were clean and the property was clean overall. Breakfast was ok, not great. Lack of water pressure in the shower was a bummer. Worst of 3 hotels on out trip. For the money, was disappointed.

Nice breakfast selections. Shower is not attached to the wall. Its only handheld. Printer in the lobby print with lots of smudges on the right side.
All in all, its still a good stay. Walking distance to the train station Wollaston.

Fridge broke before we even stayed. Didn’t have a replacement for us, and was sold out for the night so couldn’t switch our room. Had to go out and buy a cooler. Then at night the parking was all full

Our stay was greatly enhanced by the amazing staff, Barsha. Our family had a complicated request and she went above and beyond to accommodate us! She is incredibly kind and helpful. The room is nice and the area was walkable with lots of restaurants within 15 mins walk. We would definitely stay here again.

I checked in the hotel around 3:30 pm and the lady working at the front desk was very helpful and my stay was good. However, I was woken in the morning by a loud noise due to construction being done on the street.

Someone at the hotel canceled my reservation, one hour before we got there. This delayed our check-in. Then when we got to the room, it smelled like smoke and really strong cleaning chemicals. To the point of when we left, our bags and clothing smelled like the chemicals. I have stayed here many times and never experienced that. Whatever cleaning products they are using our way too strong.

strange----1>That they don't come in to the room to clean, change the sheets or towels(you have to set the towels outside the room...but then they wouldn't leave new ones, which made us have to go down to the desk to get them replaced 2> We had to wear our shoes inside the room at all times the floor was very dirty, made our feet black... Not a good feeling.

Our stay was ok. The location is not the best. Our room had an old chair with holes in it, the new floor was lifting and the peep hole was missing and was stuffed with a tissue. The breakfast was ok. Coffee was good. The breads were stale (waffles, bread and bagels). Large room. AC was cold!!! Which we love. The shower faucet was super hard to turn on. Tv channels were super slow to change. No menu on the TV guide. No extra charge for parking. Tonys pizza delivers and was delicious.

Clean, quiet, breakfast and free parking. Close to a subway station. Perfect to explore Boston and the area.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms clean, comfortable, and standard amenities. The flooring in the rooms (we stayed on 2 separate occasions) was totally messed up with vinyl plank flooring that had gaps and sharp edges. Ruined one pair of socks with a snag that resulted from walking across the room. Rooms 222 and 225.

Typical hotel with no frills. Place was clean, relatively recently updated, breakfast was decent, workout room is elliptical, bike and treadmill. Seemed like a safe part of town, huge park across the street.

Perfect hotel for a night! Really good bed. Only problem was the door of the room that needed an extra push to open... I had to ask the concierge to open it for us at first, since I didn't want to barge in... But all in all, a good stay!

All was great except for strong smell of marijuana in the middle of the night

Great place. Clean, quiet. Close from the commuter rail. Only thing is check your towels when you arrive, we only got 2 towels for 4 persons and when we went to get more they we’re out because we came in late at night. We got more the day after but, you would assume that they would put 4 for 4 persons. But that what the only issue. Breakfast was good to, plenty of choices.

I arrived in town early for a wedding. When i called to see if there was any way I could check in early, They were very kind and accommodating. Made my whole trip 1000x less stressful. Beds were super soft and the AC was cold.
I would highly recommend this hotel and will be staying here again when I come back to town.

The check in was easy, There were 4 of us, only 2 sets of towels, Had to go back to the front desk to request extra towels, The parking situation was not too good, we came back in late, parking was full, the front desk was not helpful, told me to just park along the side of the road, I was adamant on not doing that in case someone backed out of the parking spot and hit me. Had to squeeze in between cars that were not in right spots. There were a car sitting with flat tires and a couple of cones blocking off a couple of parking spots. They should have maintain the parking lot better by opening some spots for guests. They cleaned the room just fine, but again, 2 sets of towels instead of 4, so I went to the front desk during evening, asked for more sets, they said no, they don't have access to the laundry to get towels. Told me to come back in the AM to get them, Front desk should have at least stacks of towels behind in case for something like this to happen. This was my 2nd time staying there, will not stay there again based on service that I had received.

This place was very nice. Staff was nice. Rooms are right by the parking. At least ours was, so it was very nice for hauling luggage. Really liked this place. Parking is a little tough. Not tons of it.

Good hotel for an 8 night stay in the Boston area, located about 10 mins walk from Wollaston subway station and 15 mins walk from central Quincy.
Decent selection of hot/cold items available for breakfast from 06.30 each morning.
Room clean and everything worked OK. Situated in a very good area, so no problems on that front.
Will certainly consider staying there again on a future trip to the Boston area, even if the MBTA subway service left something to be desired......(and that's well outside the hotels control!)

Room was fine and clean but very basic. Floor flexed a lot, suggesting poor installation. We heard that other guests had same issue. Hallways and elevator were warm.
