A lovely warm welcome at reception from Lisa - thank you! Our room was super - we loved the comfy bed and nice linen.

When I was putting some of my property away I discovered ladies shoes and clothing in a drawer. I was rushing this morning and forgot to say to reception. Later today I got a message to say I had left said objects behind. I was far from impressed, but saw the funny side, given that Halloween is soon. My friend who knows the owners called the hotel on my behalf to clarify matters.

Generally a nice stay in an old facility, however, other than one exception, the staff was less than friendly and did not treat us in a welcoming manner. Our service in the restaurant the first night was poor. We didn't go back there.
4.3
The annexe is awful, like student accommodation. This is not a 4 star hotel and should not be marketed as such. 4 star hotels have things like toilet brushes, heated towel rails, a warm room on arrival (my room was freezing). My husband kept hitting his head on the ceiling. The bed was shoved in the corner under a sloping roof. The shower room was so tiny.

This apartment did not live up to its description. While it looked like the photographs, it was poorly maintained and not entirely clean. In the bathroom floor was in poor condition and there were beetles. At breakfast, staff had filled my cafetière staff with filtered coffee. There was a power cut for which no apology or even explanation was offered.
4.3
Staff very attentive and friendly. Hotel clean and comfortable. Only thing that disappointed us was that we arrived at 9:30om at night and no food was available after our long journey.
4.3
This was a lovely hotel and staff were very friendly. It was pleasant to be so close to the canal and walking distance to plenty of nice restaurants and shops.
4.3
Room was nice, facilities a bit dated. When other guests used shower in their room, it made a lot of noise in our room... Had a backache in the morning, so mattress wasn't so good. Breakfast was very nice. Very good location smack right in the center on the river bank.
4.3
We didn't stay much in this hotel but it has a very convenient location. Very beautiful views, breakfast was good and the room was good and great bathroom.
Inverness is definitely worth your time!
4.3
Average hotel. Not worth the room rate they charge.

Property was very nice and in a good location. Good to have parking available at the hotel.
A little noisy from adjacent rooms.

I have traveled my whole life, and this is the best place I have ever stayed. Not only did they check me in, but they carried my suitcase upstairs and then called me an hour after I settled in to make sure everything in my room was satisfactory. It is quiet and beautiful. You can open your window and see the river.
4.3
Lovely location on the river and very walkable to all. Hotel is cozy and the staff very friendly. We enjoyed our stay.
4.3
Excellent food, service and location. The accommodations were very clean ad nice with a great view of the River Ness!
The staff was very professional and friendly. They helped to make my stay a great experience!
4.3
Overpriced for what you get. Good location with parking. Room comfortable, albeit small shower / bathroom. Hot breakfast very poor - undercooked eggs, everything dripping in oil and fatty.
4.3
Great service throughout from amazing friendly staff who were always happy to help. Would recommend and will stay again when in the area.
4.3
Entrance nice to hotel but my room was in a separate building from the main area. Nothing to say I’d be in a separate building when booking.
The bedroom window didn’t open as it got quite warm plus the sink plug didn’t unplug after I filled the sink up.
Breakfast Ok. No selection of fresh fruit on offer at breakfast.
hotel is nicely situated by River Ness

Lovely guest house in downtown Inverness on the Ness River. Staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant exceptional.
4.3
Wonderful staff and room was very spacious. Dinner exceded our expectations. Would definately come again.

Room was good size.

The room was spacious and very comfortable with a view of the river Ness. The receptionist was friendly and very attentive. Breakfast was very good. Lots of choices and big amounts.

Fine hotel. Good location. Room dated and overlooking roof construction fairly non-existence service or interest.
4.3
Super friendly staff, easy to navigate and beautiful property!

The Glenmoriston Hotel is fabulous! Staff are exceptional and the location is perfect! The meals prepared by the chef and staff are superb! The room was clean and also had 2 USB chargers we used for our cell phones (Canadian) so we didn't always need to use our converter.
If you plan on staying at the Glenmoriston, you need to be aware that there is noise transfer between rooms due to the historic nature of the building. Once patrons realize this, it does quiet down so sleeping is not a problem.
Shout outs to the following staff: Lisa (checkin); Diego, Sophie and Megan (restaurant) and Kieran (bartender).

Very friendly check-in and the apartment was even nicer than the pictures. The location is perfect!

Our apartment was so cute! It was nice and clean, had everything we needed. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice neighborhood by the lake - we loved all the walking we could do there.

Quick check in, clean, and great location.

Great location. Fantastic service from very knowledgeable and helpful staff

The size of the shower is beyond small.
4.3
Nice and comfortable space, good views, east access to the property and city.
4.3
The emersion heater is obviously above the room. So when anyone in the hotel had a shower ( at all hours of the night ) the emersion heater would start.
It was like trying to sleep in the departure lounge at Heathrow.

Arrived an hour and an half early, knowing checking was not till 3pm. Left bags in the car and went to ask if we could leave car in car park while we went for a walk. Chap in reception snapped at us that we could not check in yet. Asked about leaving car and he said that was ok. Arrived back at 3.30 to a very chaotic checkin. Took 45 mins to get into our room. Many others in same boat all we were asked to wait in the bar to clear the very small reception area. Room was spotlessly clean as was the en-suite. Comfy bed, coffee maker and all the usual equipment. Robes and slippers provided however robes were tiny! En-suite was biggest disappointment. Nowhere to place toiletries while using them. No space to leave anything except floor or toilet seat lid! A cupboard behind a mirror over the sink was useless. Very large door opened over the sink that meant you had to take a step back to avoid getting smacked in the face. So toiletries went on a towel in the floor. Toilet lid was sloped and they rolled off there. Just a poorly designed en-suite. Large shower which was fine. Sink hot water ran for 4 minutes till it became hot and it didn’t stay hot. Didn’t eat here but the food we saw looked amazing. Would not stay here again. Not for us.

Traveling from the USA - this property is outdated, very loud, and the staff was rude. The location is great - about 10 minutes to the 15 restaurants in Fort William. The breakfast was the only bad breakfast we had while we traveled Scotland.

Lovely atmosphere. Staff wonderful
