Room was tiny. It would be snug for 1 but was uncomfortable for 2. Carpet needed replaced. Nice view of the castle. Staff tried but are perhaps not suited to the hospitality biz. It looked like there were some lovely rooms at this property so maybe don’t go cheap and you’ll be fine. Good location.

We had a lovely stay. The City Centre is a 5 minute walk through a safe neighborhood. Breakfast was delicious. Peaceful and night. Highly recommend.

Very clean and tidy. Paid extra to have the breakfast and that was enjoyable. Close to everything in downtown Inverness.

The hotel is well situated with a few minutes walk to the train station and a few minutes walk to the River Ness from where there are multiple walks to take around and beyond Inverness.
The staff were kind and very helpful. Upon arrival, I initially came outside the check-in time, but they let me leave my bags - ditto as I was checking out, I could leave my bags while I went on a walk before my train left. The hotel is small, strikes me as family friendly and nice - I didn't try their food, but I saw some reviews that said it was quite good. In terms of getting to the hotel from the train station, it was so easy, I would definitely recommend this place if you are travelling by train and still want comfort.

Not value for money

This is not a regular hotel. The room was across from where you check in. It is townhome. Room #4 is very small and the shower is very slick, so be careful.

Nice hotel, but not quite what we expected. People were all very nice and location is great, but we ended up in the second floor of the townhouse - a secondary building owned by the hotel. It's an older house that was converted to guest rooms. Ours was pretty small and faced the street - so a bit noisier than usual. Just be aware of where you will be staying when booking.

Nice Inn located in the heart of Inverness. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Would recommend ! Location is so convenient and near good Restaurants. Breakfast here is tasty and well appointed.

My husband and I recently stayed here on our honeymoon, and we loved how quiet it was, while still being super close to more of the city action of Inverness! The room itself was spacious, and the owner was super friendly and helpful! We were able to enjoy our time in our room, but then walk to busier areas for dinner and a bar later on. The wifi was great, and the breakfast options the next morning were awesome too! We'd definitely recommend the Redcliffe if you're in Inverness!

Great dinning options in the restaurant, albeit a bit pricey.

The owner and staff were very helpful. They even gave us a ride to our next location. The food was excellent and even though we had no view the apartment was quaint having a fireplace and even a washer/dryer in the kitchen. Very spacious.

Hotel was well presented, room was dusty and very cramped especially for the price we paid. Bathroom was lovely tho and it was so close to the city centre so that was brilliant.

Quaint older place. Clean. Check out the Thai Garden Restaurant. I expected a bit better for the price.

Nice little Inn. Room with castle view which is currently under construction (May 2024) but will probably be lovely when done. Food was OK and front desk attendant was nice. Most enjoyed our room which was in a little cottage across the street from the office. Very convenient to the shops and high street of the local area.

We enjoyed our stay here. It’s very close to everything we wanted to see and do. It’s not fancy and a bit dated. It was clean, quiet and comfortable and we would recommend it.

Comfortable bed.
Ensuite is compact.

The hotel surpassed my expectations

Nice Hotel with friendly staff.
Only consideration is that there was no place to put stuff in the room or even a tiny shelf in the bathroom.
Wery good location for exploring Inverness

Great location. Good parking. Very clean.

Location is GREAT. Quick walk to some great pubs.
Room descriptions/amenities should be clarified on the listing:
1) There was no indication on the listing that our room was off the main property in a stand alone “residence.”
2) Laundry Facilities - listing indicates laundry facilities are available, but we were told that it was only for residents. This is quite misleading. Laundry facilities was one of the key amenities we considered when making a reservation.
3) When we asked for an extra set of towels we were told we would be charged an extra £4.50! Really??

This is a lovely little hotel just a 10 minute walk from the station. The room was impeccably clean. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room and toiletries provided. Restaurant was superb. Very high quality cuisine. The breakfast was excellent. The Omelette Arnold Bennet was delightful and there were numerous choices.

This was booked at last minute. Never stayed before, stay elsewhere most times. I can see why this had availability when no where else in town did.
I was asked on arrival if I'd like breakfast the next morning, I said I really don't know and will decide in the morning (normal at a hotel)
The next morning I went to the breakfast area, the woman took me to my seat, I then checked out and she said you didn't have breakfast on your booking and you owe us £, no problem I thought. Only then to be accused of not telling them the night before about wanting breakfast. I was told it was irresponsible of me to not know the night before as she had to plan for things. I had an omelette, must be very borderline if you need to plan a few eggs into the daily budget. She demanded to know who booked me in the night before. I refused to tell as I feel that person would have been treated harshly. The basically pushed me out the door as I was rude in questioning why she is treating me this way over a breakfast.
The rudest aggressive arrogant person I've seen in a hospitality position. If I owned this place, I'd have my answer as to why I had vacancies and no one else in town did. It's your manager. What a horrible woman.

It's just us, but the room we had was way to small for our comfort, and the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. Very firm mattress, which some like, we dont.

While I didn’t get the “castle view” stated on my reservation, we did get a lovely apartment with kitchenette, big bathroom and (much needed) washing machine. Nice comfortable bed. We didn’t opt for the morning breakfast but friends said it was great!

No where on Expedia info or venue website does it mention they have rooms with no windows located in the basement.
There is only one possible escape route in an emergency. The room was very hot and there was no heating on.
A small desk fan was the only means to reduce the temperature a bit.
Room was well furnished

The place was very tiny for the price I paid £104 per night. There was no space even to open the bags. Bathroom commode could have been cleaner. Hardly any light in the bathroom. It was almost dark. couldn't see properly.
The staff were friendly and nice.

Hotel is located on the top of the hill not far from the Castle. Had a single room which was compact and bijou but was clean, comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was also clean, the shower was good and the design was really well thought out with ample hooks to hang your towel in easy reach of the shower and a basket to put extra bottles etc on under the shower gel dispensers. Welcome was friendly and check in/out was quick and efficient. Nice place.

The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are also beautiful. The waiters and waitresses were excellent. The food I found average.
The font desk people a little brusque.
There is no lift in the hotel so you have to lug your suitcases up the stairs.
The surroundings are beautiful around the hotel.
