I had a terrible experience with this hotel. We had to wait for more than 3 hours before we could check-in because the check-in time is only at 3pm. The staff didn't seem to care. Usually, hotels try to help with early check-ins and because the hotel was almost empty, but this was not the case. I cannot recommend this hotel.
Also this hotel has no wifi in the room, sauna was cold, there are no usb chargers or US electric outlets - it was impossible to charge phone or my laptop.

The hotel is impressive! -one of those rare occasions when you get what it says in the tin!! The building is impressive, the spaces are well-lit, comfortable, facilities are good, staff is super-helpful, the food is amazing, the rooms are spacious. The views are great, short walking distance into town; and you are the doorstep of Torres del Paine!

Really beautiful and staff very friendly.

There are a lot of good things about Remota. The rooms are beautifully designed and thought about. Some reviews mention staff not being friendly, but everyone I met was really helpful. The communal spaces are great for lounging around. The food was tasty and the bar is very good.
There are things I would like to see improved:
- Places to refill water bottles without having to ask the kitchen
- Better advertising of snacks and drinks being available from the bar outside of meal times
- The pool needs a shoe area before people come in, so outdoor shoes aren't being worn round the pool itself.
- A wifi booster so that wifi works in all rooms.
There are a couple of issues I had. The website advertises airport transfers from Punta, but when I tried to book I was told it is only during the day and I was on my own. The website also advertises excursions, but again when I actually went to book I was told these are only for guests on the packages. This wasn't an issue because there are lots of tours available locally, but it wasn't what I expected from the website. So I think the website should be updated to make these things clear.
The pool is really nice but was only actually working properly for two of my five days - the others there was unspecified 'maintenance' which meant it was cold and not full to the top as it should have been. This should be advertised better at reception (or ideally avoided!).
I would stay again if some of these things are improved!

Great hotel, nice staff, breakfast was great as well. It’s a little outside of town, but that’s the point. 3 minute cab ride.

Hot tub was not working.

Nice architecture and rooms
Interesting town with lots of restaurants and a good base for excursions

Inconsistency of wi-fi was a disappointment. Couldn’t even access it in some parts of the hotel.

Very nice, and comfortable hotel.

Great location, great view. Another reviewer put it well: “staff were attentive but not friendly”

Excellent experience all the way around!

The Remota hotel was absolutely gorgeous and and the views are stunning. The staff is exceptional. Rooms are spacious, modern and offer comforts of home such as robes, slippers and a tub to soak after a long hike in Patagonia. The breakfast included has a variety of American and Chilean options. They even had oatmilk! I highly recommend staying here if you are using this as your base hotel for day trips to Patagonia. The only thing is location, it’s on the outskirts of downtown Puerto Natales. Getting a taxi from the hotel is easy it’s getting one back that was a bit challenging.

Loved the hotel– beautiful architecture and has a very calming ambiance. Service was amazing and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They gave us everything we needed and the bartender even treated us to a free local bottle of sparkling wine for our first night! The hotel was perfect for unwinding and relaxing after our 4 night W trek in the park. We stayed here for 3 nights and the breakfast and dinner were impressive. Lots of cozy nooks to lounge and relax in as well if you wanted to some alone time with a book. I got a 1hr massage and enjoyed a beer by their outdoor jacuzzi as well. It was overall a lovely place to relax and unwind. About 5 mins and 3000 chilean pesos away from Puerto Natales by taxi, you just have to call the front desk and ask them to grab it for you 10 mins in advance. I chose this hotel because I wanted a quiet, remote place to recharge after my hike that still felt like we were connected to nature and wasn't in the center of the city. I'm glad I did my research and chose this place it was exactly what I wanted and more!

Great place to stay! Not to mention with my trip mishaps going to this place - truly a nightmare however, the hotel staff made my negative events into a POSITIVE & memorable one!
Front desk: Lorena, Vale, Fernando & Claudio very helpful with my travel endeavors.
Restaurant Crew: Jessica, Rudolf (Mr. Bartender-Suave!), Angelo, Camilla & Jose. Always welcoming, attentive and wears a smiling eyes. 😘
Housekeeping: ensures my room are nice and tidy. Making it like a home for me.🥰
Mr. Fernan (the Tour Guide): EXCELLENT guy and went above and beyond in taking care of me! 🙌👏❤️… making it truly a MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE to cherish!
I can’t THANK YOU enough Remota HOTEL crew!

The stay overall was good. The food is pretty good worth eating at in this town. One major gripe about the hotel is the very slow internet speeds. Also do not expect much in terms of additional amenities. However staff speaks English and is extremely helpful. The guides we hired through the hotel as well were very pleasant and knowledgeable.

Really liked the decor, breakfast, service

Poor WiFi. Restaurant has limited menu. No room service. Location far from city center.

We stayed at Remota hotel for 5 nights. It was a very spacious and clean room - WiFi didn’t reach but not a big issue. Hotel has a cool style with really helpful staff members. Food was delicious and the spa was a nice touch. Would definitely return to this accommodation.

A unique lodging experience. Pros: great breakfast, nice lounging area, rainfall shower, comfy bed. Cons: poor lighting in bathroom and, due to glass piece in wall, whole bedroom illuminated if someone turns on bathroom light. Also pricey.

Amazing and very unique hotel. Just a few minutes outside downtown, makes you feel like you are in the countryside. It has beautiful views of the waterfront and the mountains. The hotel is beautifully decorated and it is very original. The architecture of the hotel is fascinating and the views from the rooms and restaurant and amazing. The food was delicious and was included with our stay. Service was outstanding. It was a perfect and very romantic place to stay.

Remota is a very good value. The accommodations are unique and very comfortable and the staff was great.

Nice location. Great view. Very good architecture. Excellent breakfast. The floor of the corridor was slightly sloped, so be careful with the luggage.

Remota is a fantastic property just outside of Puerto Natales. The whole experience was fantastic. The room, which was huge and keeping with the property, overlooked the Fjord with views towards town. The food in the restaurant was exceptional, the service fantastic and the spa was a great place to relax after a day exploring the area. The tours offered by the hotel were great. The tour manager was very informative and helpful in recommending the best excursion for the days weather conditions. Remota was so good that I booked to stay again after my trip to Torres del Paine.
4.5
Great place to start / end a trip at Torres Park. Hotel is a 5 minute drive outside of downtown Puerto Natales and has excellent dining options and facilities. Would actually have preferred to stay here one additional day vs. in the park.

This is a unique property and is absolutely beautiful. The views from every angle are wonderful, the breakfast is fantastic, and the indoor pool is a bonus. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi was not working when we were there.

Excellent, lovely friendly staff, dinning was amazing, great location, quiet.
4.5
This is a beautiful hotel with unique architecture that blends in well with the environment. Only problem is that it is a bit remote, a cab ride to town.
4.5
The Remota is a beautiful, comfortable, luxury hotel in an incredible location. Everything about the hotel is wonderful with my only quibble being the quality of the breakfast buffet, which would be fine but for the fact that I expected better given the price of the rooms.
4.5
We stayed here for a night following an 8 day trek in Patagonia. The hotel staff was attentive and responsive to all of our requests. The room was beautiful and the spa was incredible. The food at the hotel was also fantastic. The perfect place to land after a long trek in Patagonia.

Champagne delivered while resting your weary feet in the outdoor hot tub at the end of a challenging day of hiking, great and friendly staff, and great views from your room........what is not to love about this place?
4.5
The setting is peaceful and captivating, the hotel is beautifully designed and intelligently integrated with its surroundings, and the wonderful excursions lead by talented guide Sebastian are the perfect excuse to get us to make our way once more to this remote paradise. Looking forward to our return.

I am so glad we decided to stay at Explora and Singular. We spent one night at Remota in transit. I was so excited to stay there after seeing their web site, but we were so disappointed. The hotel does have interesting architecture, but it seems run down. The pool was ice cold and the steam room didn't work. The hotel also had no atmosphere at all. The staff was disinterested. When we arrived no one assisted with luggage or showing us arounf the property (probably because there was no staff in sight). The girl that checked us in just pointed around telling us where our room was and the spa. The value was also not apparent. Even though we paid $340 for one night at half board, that did not include appetizers and only one glass of wine. Really? There were no other guests even at the peek of season and no music, which made it feel as if we were at a funeral. The food was less than marginal. They offered 2 choices and both were tiny portions and poor. After Remota we spent 4 glorious nights at Explora and 3 spectacular nights at Singular. Both had exceptional service, property, staff, food, excursions and more. Truly the 2 finest hotel we have ever stayed at and we have been around the world.

Absolutely loved the building and the architecture, simultaneously rustic and modern. We loved exploring the hotel, especially the various reading nooks with comfortable furniture and great views. I wish the bathroom had been a little more private; this hotel trend of placing windows between the bathroom and the sleeping area needs to end as soon as possible. But the highlights more than made up for it. All around a great vide and wonderful stay.
