Faultless and friendly, would definitely recommend this hotel

Lovely three day stay at the lamb - the Rissington suite was perfect for us and our dog! The Super friendly staff couldn’t do enough for us and Bailey the cocker spaniel! Thanks very much - we will be back!
4.4
What a little gem of a place! Quant, historic and yet fantastic modern bathrooms and facilities. The staff were just incredible and nothing was too much to ask. We will be back!

Clean polite friendly staff.

Property is old but very well maintained. Everything was very comfortable and clean. Restaurant was outstanding. Location just perfect.
4.4
Overall Lacking in TLC , staff too laid back. Choice of food good.
4.4
Average and bit rundown, rooms could be cleaner could see dust still around the room and on the towels, removed the chair cushion and it was super super dirty!
It expensive for the value provided and location. No value for money unfortunately.
4.4
Nice place which is dog friendly. Room was clean and comfortable, bar and restaurant inviting, great breakfast options and evening meal was delicious.
Easy parking and location quiet but easily accessible for exploring nearby places of interest. Would definitely recommend.
4.4
Pleasant staff. Bedroom, bathroom too small & needs updating. Food mediocre.
4.4
Great menu and food and excellent service
4.4
Cute and quaint inn located in the Cotswolds. Food was good and presented quite nice at their restaurant (we had breakfast and dinner). Lovely and very nice staff. Would recommend this inn if you are interested in seeing Bibury and Bourton-on-the-water since it is quite close.

Lovely hotel in a small village, clean and good service and approachable staff.
4.4
It was not as expected for the marketed price of £207 per room.
Yes, it was old and rickety which is expected.
Ensuite was a bit of a shambles, refurbished but on a shoe string.
The restaurant was spartan, lacking comfort.
The only place to go apart from your room was a basic public bar.
4.4
Unfortunately, the room we were given (4) was very small, no room for a seat anywhere, so even if you wanted to watch a bit of TV we had to do so in some discomfort on the bed, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly it's in an idea location, on busy evenings the car park got full & if you get back early evening you may need to park on the road.

had a lovely time here such an old unique property rooms are just as the pictures definitely go back again

The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The food was bit pricy and the Wi-Fi was really bad other then that great stay.
4.4
We stayed in the Rissington Suite - great room and very comfortable bed. Uncomfortable sofa within the suite so not comfy for watching TV in the evening. Bathroom excellent and very clean.
Food was excellent although maybe a little overpriced.
I would have liked to have herbal tea in the room for after dinner and maybe more healthy breakfast (fruit, natural yogurt etc) - but that is being very picky. The team were definitely very helpful and friendly and overall a great stay.
4.4
Room was okay. Bathroom clean. Disappointed by lack of finishing touches....for example the window sill was very dirty. Carpet needed a proper hoovering.
Restaurant lacked any atmosphere, no view for us. Food was good but expected a bit better. Staff were friendly enough but overall, it didnt feel particularly welcoming.
4.4
A lovely old building, with lots of charm. Don’t expect state of the art shower or super flat floors as some parts of the building are 300 years old. The food was excellent as were the staff, very friendly and engaging.
4.4
Comfortable room and bed, good shower
4.4
Have stayed there several times now, always enjoy The Lamb, friendly , good food. No downside .
4.4
I have been going to the Lamb for 30 years and would like to think there is another 30 to go, although a stairlift may be needed by the end. All you could ask for, good food, a comfortable bed and quiet.

We had a great time made to feel very welcome the staff were great very friendly

Beautiful Cotswold village surrounding this truly one of a kind 400 year old Inn.
Tastefully restored and updated so as not to change the character or feel of the historic nature.
Unfortunately the Salmon at Breakfast did not sit well.
I am still recovering.
4.4
Overall the stay was mediocre.
The room (classic suite) was suitable for an overnight stay (I would switch out to sliding doors for the wardrobe and bathroom).
The pricing of the food \ drinks are expensive even for the area
Circa £4 per dish
Circa £1 - 2 per drink
Hospitality was a bit "cold and icy". Not entirely sure if this was down to us, however we were greeted coldly and when having breakfast were not asked for another cup of coffee when other tables around us were offered coffee 3 times.

A nice place to stay set in a beautiful village. Good food and helpful staff. We would definitely stay there again.

Great pub/hotel, lovely staff very friendly and helpful, we stayed in the Rissington suite and it was beautiful. Would definately stay again

Very enjoyable stay… excellent location to visit nearby areas of interest. Good food in the restaurant especially breakfast!!
Well kept real ales with a lovely beer garden, all set in a beautiful village will definitely return..

We had a two night break and all I can say is when can we go again!! Was in a perfect location for exploring the area and great we could take our dog. Staff couldn’t have been more lovely and helpful. Breakfast was spot on. Would definitely recommend and will be back soon.

I was apalled with the customer service . I asked before arrivals they due to family issues I would like to keep the booking and pay upfront for two nights as originally requested but I may not physically show up till Saturday morning and could they please not cancel the Saturday night if this was the case . I was told they would cancel if I didn’t show up Friday night despite them missing no revenue as I was paying for two nights and as alone would not be using the bar or restaurant . They then ignored requests to see this policy on hotels . Com or anywhere . When I arrived I received no pleasantries at all just taken to my room . Really disappointed with customer service on this matter .

Lovely location. Room and staff excellent. Breakfast and dinner superb.

I stayed in room 12, a converted stable which was exactly as described, a small room. It was absolutely ideal for my needs. Room was very smart and clean, modern and rustic. Staff where great and food was lovely. Would definitely recommend and look to stay again

Friendly staff, very nice room, didn’t hear any wind despite there being a storm. Our room wasn’t made for tall people but we got around it and still enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend to others!
4.4
We could not have lunch when we arrived but friendly and very helpfull reception gave us early check in and we did some sightseeing and came back to a lovely dinner with good service.
Unfortunately the Red storm warning (Eunice) meant we had to change plans and left before breakfast.
But lovely stay, we like to come back.

Our room was lovely and had a real Cotswolds feel to it. The food at the Lamb Inn was extremely tasty. We ate there both nights of our stay. The Inn is really dog friendly and there were no issues with our dog being with us at dinner. The Inn is not too far from the surrounding villages and they were only a short car drive away. The only thing we would improve is that our room was above reception and we could hear everything when people were talking there. We would definitely recommend this Inn and look forward to returning in the future.

A beautiful old building in a lovely village. Staff and food were excellent - although food was a little bit pricey it was worth every penny.

A lovely little pub/hotel. Rooms were very nice and breakfast was excellent. Would stay here again if visiting the area.
