Lovely friendly and professional staff, catered very well for coeliacs too which makes such a difference to a relaxing stay, and the birthday treat was very much appreciated. Lovely second time stay.
Everything was great, as expected for the price. Although we'd expected a more traditional room from booking.com info, the studio was extremely well equipped. We noticed the wetroom could be better designed as water is damaging the wooden bedroom floor.

There were lots of great things about staying here. Firstly, we asked to reserve 2 car parking spaces and despite thinking the car park was full, when checking in were told that there were 2 spaces and they had been blocked off with a bench until we arrived. Everything else was clearly explained to us then too. The room was clean and had good tea/coffee facilities. We had three singles which meant my Mum, sister and I could share a room. There was also a good selection at breakfast in the morning. 😋

perfectly located for our trip to Blenheim Palace.
Small car park on site. Was originally a old coaching Inn with lots of original features.our room (3) was very spacious and comfortable. Small espresso machine with coffee pods provided. kettle and teas provided. Very clean bathroom ( with shower). The water is all softened so lovely. Breakfast was nice. Cooked breakfast made to order plus buffet. Very friendly , attentive, pleasant staff.
we stayed during very hot weather, and being an old building there is no air conditioning. Staff provided me with a small electric fan. But as we had to open the windows it was noisy at times. The hotel is situated right on the main road with a bus stop right outside.
Ask for a room away from the front of the hotel perhaps.
Overpriced for what it was. A musical event in Blenheim palace elevated prices on this occasion.

Proximity to Blenheim Palace, close to restaurants, the room, bed, shower, comfort and space, the friendly concierge.
No top sheet provided for bed, meant sleeping with doona on top and getting g a bit warm during the night.
Lack of bench space in bathroom to put our toiletries on.

The staff was very helpful with all of our requests including lighting the fire before the normal time to accommodate us coming in out of the cold rain. The full breakfast was very well done. Our room was clean and comfortable although the floor was a bit uneven due to the historical age of the structure. The location is perfect for exploring the town, enjoying several excellent restaurants and having easy access to the Palace.

The staff members were super friendly and helpful. We felt very welcomed and comfortable hanging out at the hotel.
The breakfast was delicious and carefully prepared.
The location is just amazing. Walking distance from Blenheim Park and Palace. Plenty of choices of restaurants and cafes around.
This didn't affect our stay at all, but it's worth mentioning that the building is very old and traditional, so it can be a bit of a hazard for tall people :-D Low ceilings here and there, but not in the bedroom.

Have stayed at the Marlborough a few times. Everything is always perfect. Rooms are comfortable, staff are very pleasant, breakfast is superb, and there is parking which is a bonus. Also the owner always remembers us from the previous years which is nice.
We couldn't find anything to dislike except maybe it's a shame you cannot get an evening meal there.

Location was great. Hot shower.
Less rules! you cannot charge someone over £430 for two nights then tell them what time they can have breakfast - either 7.15 or 9.15 as other guests have already booked! don't do this, don't do that. one measly pancake and ONE strawberry sliced with a few blueberries. Water jug on counter wasn't changed entire 48hrs we were there. Told had to pay more for this more for that. they advertise as an HOTEL on booking.com but in the small print and upon check in told they're a B&B only. False advertising? I think so. Not enough loo roll, only a few tissues, room was cold as heating goes off, duvet smelt and the cover was so old it had 'bobbles' on it. clearly very short staffed but the two who were there were pleasant but some training needed. if someone is checking in, don't answer the phone then keep the person checking in standing waiting, with suitcases whilst you deal wit the person on the end of the phone!

We chose this hotel because it was within walking distance of Blenheim Palace and it had private parking. By prior arrangement in a phone call, we managed to park early to enable us to visit the Palace before check-in time.
On arrival back we received a very warm welcome from Alina on reception and she allocated us to a lovely large room on the top floor. Being an old inn there is no lift so two flights of stairs may not suit everyone. The room was sited at the back so we heard no traffic noise and had a really comfortable sleep in the most amazing bed. The selection and quality of breakfast was really very good and the cheerful service by Alina and her colleague was exceptional. They really are an asset to the business.
Nothing.
It is a beautiful old building so be prepared for some little quirks such as uneven floors which may give you the feeling that you've had one too many!
