Desk staff were very friendly. I appreciated the map for getting to the hotel and reception's review of the Venice map for getting around. The location was great leaving me close to every place I wanted to be. The hotel was very clean. I had a little trouble with the A/C one night, for no apparent reason. When I reported it to the desk, they had me play with the settings - it worked even though I thought it shouldn't. I appreciated that I was able, upon their offer, to settle the city tax the night before checkout so that I missed the crowd that was attempting the last minute check out. It was nice to simply walk out.

Only "problem" was that the hotel accross the street was under construction. It was LOUD starting at 7.....
Ask for room in the back and not on the Main Street to have a quiet stay.

When we arrived to the hotel, a big group was ahed of us. The Manager immediately sent us straight to the room without a hesitation and complete the check in later. Kudos to the staff.

Breakfast was my favourite. No elevator do note but that is for most hotels in Venice. Old school hospitality. Clean and walkable to all tourist attractions. Aircon for summer which is great.

What a great little hotel located in between Rialto and San Marco. The staff is so friendly and the breakfast delicious.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Venice and, while the location is quite convenient for exploring the city, the room itself left much to be desired. The hotel room was extremely small, making it difficult to move around comfortably. The shower was particularly disappointing, as it was so cramped that I could barely fit inside. Additionally, the bed was too small, and the air conditioning did not work as expected, making the room warm.
On a positive note, the staff and service were amazing. The team was always friendly, helpful, and attentive, which made the stay more pleasant despite the room's shortcomings. The breakfast was also delicious, offering a variety of tasty options to start the day. Overall, while the service and breakfast were commendable, the room's size and amenities made the experience rather inconvenient, and Im not too sure that I would recommend this hotel based on my stay.

Alyssia and the breakfast staff were fantastic, making you feel welcome. The hotel location is perfectly situated between St Mark’s Square and the Rialto Bridge, making it easy to access the vaporetto. Staff provided directions and suggestions when asked. The breakfast spread had a large assortment to meet the American, Italian, English or German diet.
The hotel room was humid, even with the AC on. It was quite hot when we were there, so we used our fans at night.
I would stay here again on my return

Beautiful property and perfect location but no elevator and we were on 4th floor. Just a warning about no elevator. Otherwise great hotel.

The location is very close to most major tourist sites. The rooms are clean. The staff are extremely helpful and good. The only problem is that the bathrooms are extremely small, and it was very difficult to use the shower. The shower head was not adjustable making it difficult to take a shower. Moving around in the shower stall was very difficult. The breakfast buffet was decent. Other space limitations were manageable.

Perfect for 2 night break. Quiet safe and staff were lovely. Couldn't have been more helpful!

Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful with navigating the city. The room was clean, with comfortable beds. I appreciated the vintage Venice style of the building.
The place is near shopping centers and both city centers (St. Mark Square and Rialto Bridge). The area is safe, walkable, and full of great sightseeing. Also, you can catch a gondola ride in the morning to see the great streets of Venice.
The breakfast was great with a variety of food, it accommodates all types of diets.
Check-in and check-out were straightforward. The room was ready earlier than we expected, which allowed us to rest a bit before we started wandering around the city.

Recommended by a friend due to location, which was okay at best. The bed was lower at the head than the foot, so we slept backwards. The mattress was old and poor quality. The hot water was warm at the start of each shower and cold by the end. There was no AC so we slept with windows open…we were eaten alive by mosquitoes. The staff were the only positive, Thomas was especially helpful.

This property was 6 minutes walk from the Rialto bridge and in the middle of many shops and restaurants. The front desk was very helpful with suggestions and with our requests. The complimentary breakfast was good with many items to choose from. We stayed in a triple room and although the room was little small but I guess in Venice space is tight everywhere. Piazza San Marco, Doge's palace all were walking distance from the hotel which was very convenient. Our stay here was pleasant.

The hotel was quaint and had an old-style Venetian feel but was also quite faded and felt like it needed some work doing to the upkeep. The breakfasts were really good and staff were super friendly but there wasn’t really a bar or lounge area - only 2 stools next to the reception desk which was not exactly somewhere to relax after a long day of sightseeing and walking.
It was very central so was very convenient for St Mark’s Square and the Rialto Bridge but if I were returning to Venice, I’d choose to stay in a quieter and less touristy area of the city.

The breakfast was delicious with a variety of food and drinks Katie make our breakfast a delightful beginning of the day. Rooms so clean. We had a great time at the hotel. Claudia in front desk was so sweet and in general everyone at the hotel If I come back to Venezia I will pick Serenissima Hotel again. I highly recommend it. This property was situated in a perfect location central to everything. The staff were always very helpful and the breakfast was outstanding.
Only complaint I have is that there isn’t any elevator and the stairs are very steep. Room was small but enough for two people.

Perfect, small, typical Italian hotel you find in the historic centre of cities. Location was fantastic. All staff very helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble for them. Buffet breakfast had an extensive range of sweet and savoury options and they were also offering cooked eggs of choice and bacon. Although a single room I had one of those lovely 3/4 beds. Room was on the small side but had everything I needed and was plenty big enough to come back to and crash out after a busy day sightseeing!! Lovely view over a small courtyard. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a central Venice location.
